I used to come here regularly but since Raj left this place has been the absolute worst. The last time I was here to get my full face threaded, the aesthetician complained the whole time about performing the service and completely destroyed my skin leaving multiple painful abrasions that took weeks to heal. Below I included several pictures of my face after the service and in pink I drew arrows highlighting just a couple of the areas where the skin was broken. There were also several places around my eyebrows and chin that were a little more difficult to photograph. I've literally been a loyal customer here since it was called Diva Salon, I have never had any treat my face this way and I am absolutely appalled by the abysmal quality of the service I received. I am never coming back and I would advise everyone to avoid this place too. read more

$10 for eyebrow threading. The owner pressures you do more things like coloring the hair, getting a facial. The eyebrow person missed some key spots and i had to point it out. She kept asking me if i wanted to thread elsewhere. Then she kept pressuring me to scan the QR code so i can write a good review. Not sure if i will be back. read more

Absolutely disgusting service and even worse customer care. Service provider: Radhika Service: 0/10 Customer service: 0/10 What was meant to be a simple appointment turned into an incredibly upsetting experience for my wife. Instead of delivering what she asked for, she was told, "This is what I got, so this is what you get." Not only was the service poorly done, but her confidence was completely shattered in the process. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no apology. Instead, we were told, "It's because of people like you who don't want to pay and come here only to fight" That level of disrespect is shocking and unacceptable. I would like to say to her if she is reading it's because of people like you that place is empty and your owner does not even trust you with any service that's why she asks before you working with a customer. The owner didn't take any accountability either. She defended the situation without even fully understanding what my wife had requested. She claimed she personally came to attend to us, which was simply not true -- she didn't even know what service my wife wanted. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, she tried to justify it. When we mentioned the negative reviews, she dismissed them by saying they were "old." If you've been in business for 16 years and only have 158 reviews, that alone reflects how customers truly feel about your service and overall experience. What shocked us the most was her comment that another customer -- apparently from Microsoft -- was "busy and important" for coming there, implying that some customers matter more than others. The fact that she became defensive and offensive while suggesting one client is more important than another speaks volumes about how they value people. If you care about your face, hair, and especially your confidence, please go somewhere else. Try a salon that respects its customers and knows how to communicate professionally. Don't risk ruining your day, week, or month -- unless you're looking for a terrible story to tell your friends and family. An absolutely disappointing and humiliating experience. read more

This is my first time to Aapka salon and I really regret going. I had gone for a full face threading today and the lady happened very rough and I had a bleeding near my eye. I have been taking service from these many years never I was bleed for the threading. Also she messed up with the eye brows shape. She is not even telling me about the bleed till I asked myself. Really very bad experience the lady was not sorry. I'm very disappointed with the service. Never ever going there again!!! read more

Id consider continuing to visit this place for how good their onsite staff is but they have been forcing customers for cash payments only and are denying service upfront if you are not ready to make a cash payment. Doesn't matter if it is $50 or $500, they want "Cash only" as mandated by their management. read more

I had been to aapka spa today and it was first time there. I had gone there for a full face waxing. While she was waxing the upper part of my face I suddenly felt a burning sensation under my lips. When I looked into the mirror I encountered there was a red patch under my lips. I don't know how this red patch came, was it because the wax was too hot or because she was really in a hurry to complete the waxing and very rough at her work as well. The way she created a mess of the waxing she did not seem to be experienced at all. I would not recommend anyone to go here. It was a very bad experience. I have attached a picture of the red patch. read more

Please go somewhere else for your own peace of mind and better value for money! Went in to get my eyebrows threaded this week but the beautician kept complaining about how thick my eyebrows were.. like that is the reason I was there?!! They kept pushing other services while working on my brows which I had to gently turn down. They were done in 5 minutes and when I checked, they had missed quite a few spots. The beautician wasn't happy that I pointed this out and blamed me for trying to do my own eyebrows at home! Paid in full but left disappointed. read more

I am undergoing a treatment by a dermatologist since the last three weeks after coming to this place. I reported this to the owner Mrs.Poonam and she told me that this is very common and she can't do anything about it other than giving me another treatment for free. Her logic was the post imflammatory hyperpigmentation caused because of the heat of the wax used on my face was not good enough reason for her to compensate me by any means .She straight away said this situation common and she can't do anything about it and when asked why , she herself said she has no logic for this. This place does not even deserve 1 star rating ...But I got no choice ...This is the worst experience I have had in a spa across the world !! I have been to this place a couple of times because it is next to where I live..I have had two not excellent services and one WORST service .. ..There is only one staff member who is handling all the customers and her service is pathetic ...I had a threading and face wax appointment and I literally have bums all over my face after the waxing...She literally pulled off my skin as well while waxing and the wax was stuck all on my hair ...NEVER GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN..I paid 30$ for supposedly threading, waxing and generating bumps on my face... read more

Careless Staff! I went their with one of my friends. We took an appointment in morning and went in afternoon. One of the employees (that lady) was super slow. She was the only one there who has done my hand, legs, underarms waxed. It took almost 45-50 minutes for just few things. It looks like she does not know exactly how to do that. It was so painful and omg my underarms had swollen up for couple of days. The owner was there but still they made us to wait to get done with that lady as the owner was busy talking with someone else. I would not recommend to anyone even for wax. read more

I am highly disappointed with the service they provide here. I wanted a basic manicure/pedicure. Assistants didn't seem at all interested to take the service and tried to persuade me away by saying they provide only the basic manicure/pedicure. As I wanted just the basic service, I agreed to continue. Pedicure was still OK, as the lady did foot scrubbing, exfoliation, massage, but everything very sloppily and gave just 1-2 mins. She did a good foot massage. But nails were not cleaned properly, I could still see dirt in my toe nails. For nail color, they asked me which color I want. I told I cannot decide like this, I want to see the available colors, they asked me you want dark/light shade and then just came with the 3 nail colors to choose. Manicure was the worst I had ever anywhere, asked me to dip my hands for just 30 seconds - 1 minute. Lady did just nail filing, applying lotion and nail polish. Without applying cuticle cream she was scraping my dry nails. She didn't remove the extra dead skin around the nails. I could still see my extra skin looking yellow and dirty around the nails. Practically anyone would laugh if I say I had a manicure..My hands looked dirty, after manicure. When I expressed my discontent over the poor job, lady told we already told you we provide the basic manicure/pedicure...but no one could have guessed that in basic service too they provide such a low-rated poor service.I had manicure/pedicure long back from the spa owner who did such a good job even for the basic service. I am highly disappointed with the assistant who did my mani/pedi. Literally she knew nothing about it...I could do a better manicure at home. I would have been happy if they would have denied service to me in the beginning, if they had less time, rather than doing a poor service and charging the full amount. For such a dirty, sloppy job they charged me hard-earned 70 dollar. I would never forget the worst service I had ever in my life. read more

I have been going here for eyebrow threading since a couple of months. I really like the work. The place is neat and clean. Usually free, I didn't have to wait much. I am happy with the quality of eyebrow threading and the ladies are sweet. I will try waxing and other services and update the review later. Honestly I feel the price is affordable and for 5$ eyebrow threadings, they do a great job. read more

Like the threading by Raj. Another very young lady whose name I don't know does a fantastic job with eyebrows. Bothh of these girls are for friendly and do a quick job. The older lady is very quiet but does the job well. read more

Great staff, quality services. The place is neat and clean. The price is affordable and the staff is friendly.

I got multiple cuts on my eyebrows and upper lips. The worst thing was that lady didn't even apologize once, she didn't really care to do so. Price increase is a bit of a shock too. I don't mind paying money as long as the service is good. But the service here wasn't even worth one penny.. Advice to the owner: Stop cheating people by hiring workers who are not trained enough to carry these tasks well. read more

After moving from California, I was skeptical if I wud ever find a good place for threading. Happy to say I have found one. Raj did a great job with my eyebrows, she has the actual knowledge about what she is doing. After a few terrible encounters with Deeva Salon, I am glad I have Aapka salon. Will definitely recommend everyone to try this place. Looking forward to try their Facial! read more

Aapka Spa - Great place with great service! - Skin Care Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I have been going to Aapka Spa for almost a year and never had a bad experience. Preet is amazing and she provides great service. She also goes by the name Usha. She is always cheerful and is very soft spoken. I mostly go for threading services and she always does a great job. Recently I got a hair cut done and I must say I was really happy about it. I would give 5 start for customer service. I would say it's by far one of the best threading salon in the area with great people. read more

Horrible service, went for underarm waxing, my skin literally peeled, and got several burns. The lady kept applying wax over already cleared skin and kept pulling for a single stubborn hair. I would have preferred to keep that hair or use a tweezer instead of having to suffer several burns. read more

DIRTY TOWELS, POOR SERVICE, ATTENDANTS ASSUME THAT THEY ARE DOING A FAVOUR BY SERVICING YOU, STAY AWAY !!! The lady who was attending to me turned out to be the manager and kept yelling instructions for others while absent mindedly waxing my legs, ouch !!!. On requesting to go out and take care of the issue, while I wait, blew it off for her. Hurriedly finished my job at hand, refused a clean up after waxing and dumped cream on me, expecting me to apply it on my own, yuck!!! On top of this, she kept insisting that she has been doing this for 25 years. Well, with that attitude, she may be stuck doing the same for the rest of her life. And BEWARE, no receipt for the payment at this place unless you specify that you need one BEFORE swiping your card. NEVER going back and caution others to stay away, especially if that manager lady with a big ATTITUDE is attending to you. read more

Extremely bad experience. The management and the staff is extremely rude and the way they wax it looks like as if they don't care whether you are in pain or it burns or anything. Waxing room is not a actual room which is partitioned by a curtain. There's no privacy. I don't even want to give a single star but it doesn't work that way. I had the worst experience so far and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The only place I go for threading and facials... Everyone does a great job from Poonam for facials ... Raj (my fav) for threading... Sharda and Apeksha too... So I definitely recommend this place to everyone for all such services Keep up the good work guys!! Thanks Atika read more

I am happy to find a new place. I have been to this place twice for threading and I liked it. I would definitely prefer this place over the other Indian parlors like Deevas in Redmond area. Pinku did a good job and she talks politely unlike some in Deevas who show lot of attitude. read more

I would never suggest anyone to go to this place...even though they provide cheap services...but they are not good at all. Only Raj was good there. read more

Took an appointment and went there, service was prompt...no waiting. Poonam who did my eyebrows probably isn't that experienced with threading. I suffered too many cuts on my face. The only upside was she was never rushed, she took her time. I really expected better service from them. read more

This place doesn't have any one to do good threading. It's really painful and not neatly done as well.

Raj was the only person who did good with eyebrows. I called the owner and told her about how bad cuts the thin girl(sorry dont know name) gives. She still lets her try on customers. Am shocked the owner is not caring for customers and just wants the girl to continue learn on customers. Also recent increase in price is shocking for such mediocre service. Manvi chargers more but she does amazing job. Why would anyone pay almost same for bad service and cuts on top of it read more

I have been going to this place for threading for quite sometime now. Only, and I quote only RAJ is good here and NO one else. Had a terrible experience about 5months ago with when Raj was out and had to get it done by some other lady there.. So today, while I was there and Raj was out again, I was ready to leave but the owner forced me to stay and try getting my eyebrows done by this other new experienced girl. OMG! Horrible! On top of that the owner was rude to me and literally yelled at me for pointing out the mistakes even without looking at the job done by her ppl! Very arrogant owner! Would not recommend this place to anyone... read more

I had very bad exp. They charges a lot when there manager is not around. They are only good in talking. never go for hair spa and clean up

I'm very skeptical when it comes to trusting people with my eyebrows, but Raj did a great job! I told her I was concerned that my eyebrows were too thin and she made sure to clean up my brows and left space for growth! We also bonded over our mutual love for the Bay Area. :) Overall, super friendly place! They prefer if you pay with cash for small charges, so bring cash with ya. read more

Like most of the other reviewers I come here for Raj. I haven't had good experiences with anyone else. One girl tool 1 hour to wax my arms only once and several times got the wax stuck on my arm and couldn't pull it off and had to ask for help. Raj is quick, efficient and personable. I can't say as much for the owner. If Raj is not there, she is very pushy trying to get you to see someone else and at times been quite rude/frustrated when I've asked for Raj. She's lucky she has Raj. read more

I come for threading and usually have good results. Most of the time I see Raj, and that is what had me coming back. The past two times I've seen other ladies and gotten a poor job-uneven eyebrows, rushed job, and unsatisfactory results. Today I went and they had one person working everything in the spa-waxing, threading, cashier. The job was the worst yet and the lady had a queue of clients so did a very rushed job. I won't be back read more
