It was ok at first, except that I met with him once in his office and saw a pop up on his screen of female cartoon avatar with a "come hither" look. Being female, and alone in the office with him, it did creep me out that he potentially spends his onscreen time interacting with avatar. Even if he didn't interact with such pop-ups, he didn't bother to close it as he was using the computer during our meeting. I pushed the thought aside and finished the appointment, because after all, he had all my very personal tax documents in his possession. My concerns came in another form later after reviewing the tax return and noting in a very neutral way that he had missed including the educational credits (all the backup and a written note had been provided to him to do so). The omission was prior to submitting the return so he was able to make the correction, but he ghosted me the following year. That year he began sending out a mass email form letter to his clients indicating new business policies. However, he did not return my calls or emails so I could make an appt for the yearly tax appointment. I had to scramble to find a new accountant due to his lack of communication. Not professional. Ironically, It was later that year or within several months that he was selected for honor as a Tustin businessman of the year. It was circa 2023 or 2024. So surprised to see the high Yelp ratings. I would not recommend.

That was last year and I have already gone through filing two years of taxes with their help, so I thought that this review is way overdue! I always felt an unresponsive distance from accountants I had worked with in the possible, but Small Business Tax is truly different. They are seriously like family. I have engaged with a half-dozen individuals there, from the CEO to the receptionist, and they are all professional, friendly, and simply get the job done at a reasonable rate looking for ways to save you $$$ on taxes. I really can't recommend them enough. I know it might sound weird to find tax help on Yelp, but I am really glad I did and if you are in need of help, please give Nicole and team a call!

I was kept in the dark, received little to no response, was given inaccurate information, and encountered several mistakes. It was incredibly stressful. I'm so grateful to have found Eddie. He is professional, responsive, and reliable--qualities that are extremely important to me. He answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly, and took the time to educate me on many aspects of managing an S-corp. I always felt informed and never forgotten. He stayed on top of payment schedules and got things done quickly and efficiently. I never felt lost or unsure throughout the process. Eddie is also very detail-oriented. He discovered a major oversight from the previous CPA--something I wasn't even aware of--and helped me correct it step by step. I was initially overwhelmed and stressed, but Eddie was patient, understanding, and even available during off-hours to guide me through it. Thanks to his help, everything on the business and accounting end has been corrected, and I finally feel like I'm on the right track. The accounting software he uses is also very efficient and allows me to upload everything in a well-organized manner. When dealing with so many numbers and accounts, that level of organization is a huge plus. I fully trust Eddie and highly recommend his services!

Most of our interactions have been via email but he makes himself available on the phone as well. He also provided me with tips for my next return so I could get a bigger refund. Thank you, Eddie!

I just wanted him to leave me alone. FINALLY, my husband agreed to stop using them. We needed some records from the past and asked for those to be sent to us.
