Understaffed. Parts do not come in on time. Will hold your vehicle hostage. 0 out of 10 ....do not recommend! Dropped my car off on 01/07/2026. Radiator was replaced and $1,170 later I got my car back on 01/09/2026. Had my car for a whole 5 hours and it broke down. Had to tow it back to Whitemarsh 11pm on 01/09/2026. A coolant leak has now evolved into a dead vehicle!!! It's 01/12/2026 and still not repaired and they will, no doubt, require full payment. I came in to get my alignment done. The service itself was fine, but the energy from one of the guys at the front desk--Glenn Wychryst--was off. When it was time to get my keys back, instead of just handing them to me like I had handed them to him, he scooted them across the counter after setting them down. I noticed it, but I didn't say anything at the moment. Then, when I asked if that was it, he hit me with a dry "yeah." No "have a good day," no nothing. It might not seem like a big deal to some, but the vibe was cold and unnecessary. I don't know if he was being passive-aggressive or just didn't care, but I felt like I was being treated more like an inconvenience than a paying customer. And he's been there a while, so he should honestly know better. He needs customer service training, plain and simple. I didn't feel like making a scene, but I'm leaving this review because basic respect should be automatic, not based on how someone feels that day. read more

Came to this location today to look at the travel products. There were several employees working not one person greeted me. They looked at me but nothing. I was looking at the products not one employee asked if I needed help. I found a product I wanted was waiting in front of someone I thought could check me out but he was occupied and no one else said anything. I ended up putting the product back and walked out. Not sure why I am a AAA member if this is the customer service you all provide. read more

I've been a AAA member for 9 years and I have always received fantastic service at this particular location. My husband and I have both needed to use AAA for dead car batteries and the responding technicians have been timely, efficient, and friendly. We most recently have been working with insurance counselor, Lisa Dotson, and she has consistently provided wonderful customer service to us. She has assisted us in updating and researching competitive insurance rates throughout multiple moves. We no longer require the services of AAA, but we will certainly miss working with Lisa. I wouldn't hesitate to reactivate my membership with AAA in the future! read more

Poor customer service! On google maps it said the store closed at 5 PM. I got there at 2:58 and the lady told me that they were closed at 3 pm l. I told her it is now 259 and can she still help me and she would not help! They're were other people getting serviced, but she refused to help me! Poor customer service! read more

This review is not for their automotive / vehicle service department. The admin office handles membership sales, trip planning, driver's assistance calls, insurance quotes, foreign currency exchange, tag & title services. In preparation for a trip to Belgium I needed an International Driver's Permit (IDP) and Euros. While there getting those two things I ended up joining AAA to save the $50 admin fee for getting the Euros (Exchange $500, and shipping costs are waved, otherwise add about $13 for shipping). Getting my IDP was easy as pie. This office will do the passport photos for a nominal fee, and hand you the permit the same day. Permit, membership, and Euros ordered and out the door in 60 minutes. Three days later I was back on a Saturday morning using their very convenient and efficient Tag and Title services to transfer/ gift a car to my son. In and out in 35 minutes. Well worth the addition $48 fee to not spend 4 hrs at the MVA / DMV on a Saturday morning. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. Willdefinitely use them again. read more

What is the general or regional manager at this location and his/her contact information (phone number and email)? I am very dissatisfied with the service. I had my car towed in on Thursday around noon and I was told it would be looked at that afternoon because they were short staff. I called back this morning and the guy told me the battery was changed and it is on the rack they will do the md state inspection and if nothing else is wrong I should be able to pick it up this evening. I just called back and the guy apologize that they got "slam" with customers and they did not get to the MD inspection and they will look at it tomorrow morning. Unbelievable that they stop working on my car to help others and it was there since Thursday. Thursday they were short staff, but today they got slammed with customers. My Wife took our vehicle around to get an oil change and only an oil change! The guy Chris come to my wife and tell her she had a leek near the radiator and it needed to be fixed asap! We need a new hose, clamps on both sides or its going to overheat! She call me ....to get answers i told her to tell him dont touch anything but an oil change.."its nothing wrong with our car" ...im on my way ..got there ,opened the hood while still in there lot, i saw 1 clamp ..looked like it had been losened ,i saw no signes of a leak what so ever ..(cant say that the loosening of the clamp happened there) so because of the loose clamp concern ..i told Chris what i saw ..and asked how much to just replace the 1 clamp only while there, because he previously told my wife we had to replace hoses on both ends and clamps! ..he reply that he cant just replace 1 clamp he have to replace both sides with new hoses and clamps even tho nothing is wrong with the hoses at all only 1 clamp! Which will cost over $200...i immediately told my wife he trying to rip us off thinking she was gonna just say yes to the work she clearly didnt need! ...in All i drove the car to Mr Tire to inquire about the clamp repair he told me just pay for the part and put it on the hose it only took 3 minutes to do ! I also told them about my experience at AAA and Chris ...they knew it all to well ! DONT GET RIPPED OFF BY CHRIS! read more

I was very impressed with the professional service I received. My car was towed there on a Friday afternoon and it was determined that I needed an alternator. By 1pm on Saturday my car was ready for pick up. With only one vehicle, it's wonderful to get up and running within less than 24 hours. The service center was immaculate and everyone I met was very nice and helpful. I will be back and highly recommend AAA service. read more

AAA has no customer service and no understanding of how to do business. They made a mistake about letting me know the standing of my account. I asked to pay for renewal and they said the account is in good standing so I didn't need to. I get roadside assistance twice. The second time I put in the wrong address so I call back to fix the problem. They said it's fine, service on the way. Then I call again for an update and they say the account is not in good standing. I speak to their manager Jeff and he never apologizes, completely insincere, and understands nothing about how to speak to a customer. They can't finish the service call already put in place now. I will never ever use AAA again, such a huge mistake. I would caution everyone else and consider Geico where they actually listen to you. read more

Need an oil change, went online and filled out the "appointment request". An automatic reply states someone will confirm the appointment. No one ever did. Attempted it a second time- nothing. Finally called and made an appointment for 10:00am. Dropped off my car at 10 and went back to work. Waited- no call, no communication whatsoever. Waited until 3:30pm and went up to pick it up and they didn't even do the oil change.They said they had been busy. I had an appointment, which I guess means nothing. AAA should want to get and attain new customers because the only people I know who use AAA are old or dead. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! I had 2 tires put on today. (New Years Eve). My husband took the car home and it wasn't two hours later one of the tires is totally flat. He called the car care center and was informed that they close at 3 pm and there was nothing they could do today for us. I'm sorry that faulty parts you put on my car need to be replaced and I' m inconveniencing you. We called about fifteen minutes before 3 pm. I am stranded at work with my car and no way to get home. I have been a AAA member, as have my family, for years, always experiencing top notch customer service out west. I have been on a road trip and ended up needing to go in to get my check engine light checked and have something looked at. Being used to great customer service I was excited to see a service center near to me. First, it took them days to even get me in, then when I finally got to the center, one of the main issues I had wasn't on my appointment, and the guy at the counter, named Chris, seemed put out that I was there. He said he didn't have anyone who could do a diagnostic and wouldn't for some hours and he would have to try to fit me in, as if he was doing me a favour. The entire time I was there, he was condescending, acted put out, and an absolute embarrassment to AAA and the brand that I used to trust to always take care of myself and my family. When I asked if I could leave the car and if checking the check engine light would be free , (like literally every other car shop advertises they will do for you, free of charge,) he practically laughed and completely condescendingly said "you pay what, like $120 a year and you think we are going to do it for free?" He is not only completely unprofessional but this establishment is obviously incompetent and it is a terrible representation of the brand that used to take of us. Stay far away. read more

I've only used the auto services and are impressed. I've had to take my car there twice for repairs and both times when I went to pick my car up the phone bill is less than they quoted me on the phone. The service writers are friendly and helpful.
