The quality, value and service is always top notch. Great dealing with Martha. No need to call anyone else. Thanks again for being there.

13 months after signing a contract to build (May 2020) we had to move on and hire another pool…read morecontractor to finish our pool. Amore will say they "intended" to finish our pool but the reality is they HOPE clients will "fire" them and move on so they keep our money. We had paid 85%+ of our contract (per their draw schedule) and still had many unfinished items like deck, splitface, tile, ALL pool equipment, electrical, plaster, etc. Every week Chrystal and Brian would reassure us "they were coming this week"... our equipment would be installed "tomorrow" but for weeks and months these installations never materialized. They would send their employees 1-2 times a month to do minimal work (ie. fix a pvc pipe they broke, install a waterfall, ) but the items that really COST $$ and were left unfinished. Before moving on to another contractor (at a significant expense) I asked for proof that our materials were "ordered" or in their warehouse since they had told us it was. That proof never came. They use the excuse of "covid" and "lack of materials" to push back jobs but the reality is 12 hours after hiring the new contractor all the pool equipment, tile, travertine was in my patio being installed. Plaster was available at the warehouse and is on schedule for install this week (9 days after signing with new pool company). Materials ARE available for those contractors that pay their BILLS. Sure, some have delays but that is why I HIRED a company to schedule and order materials accordingly as needed. After all I paid 40% of my contract by the time the permit was ready for pickup so that $$ was already in their account. I am sure nothing is 13 months BEHIND schedule. If you are interested in a pool contractor that WILL EVENTUALLY finish your pool, go ahead hire AMORE. Part of it is our mistake, taking you at your word and believing that the missing pieces couldn't be done until a later time (wait for inspections, sealing gets done at the end, etc). The purpose of this review is to inform consumers of MY experience. Take me at my word or don't, just do your due diligence. We knew of other "past" customers with beautiful pools finished by AMORE which is why we didn't do a simple google search on the owners specifically or a permit search to confirm we would be swimming in "3-4 months". I learned my lesson the hard way, I hope you don't.

Brian Washburn, owner of Amore Pools Inc., required upfront payments and deposits from customers for projects his company never finished, according to an Aug. 29 news release from Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody. An investigation conducted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement revealed that after Washburn took the money, the company would sometimes abandon projects before any work began, according to the release. In other cases, the contractor would often leave "dangerous debris piles and gaping holes" in customers' yards.

We met with Luke and designed our dream pool, as the one we had in our previous home was not to our liking. Everything in the plan we put-together was great. The problem was our site supervisor (Al) who didn't read the plan and failed to put the equipment where we wanted it and how it was illustrated on the plan, instead he put it where he wanted it...I didn't know this until we returned from a vacation. In doing so, he gave us $500 off the price (yippee) and said he could move it a little, but not where it supposed to go. What I am stuck with is exactly what I didn't want---a pool pump running right outside our bedroom window at all hours of the night, and a wife that is not sleeping because of it. So, my choice now is to either use my pool/hot tub when I want to or let my wife sleep peacefully at night and not use the pool/hot tub at all. I am currently looking into what it's going to cost me to get this done the way the plan was originally drafted and signed. My only words of advice when using this company - Be prepared to be your own site supervisor and be home the whole time they're working on it.

He did an awesome job and understood what I was looking for within my parameters. David was the project manager who kept the project intact and survived my back seat driving. Whenever I needed something he came through. Ryan was our educator for pool school and brought us smiles and a refreshing energy. He came back quickly when I had left my brain in bed. All of the crew were caring gentlemen. Their courteousness was very grateful from this old lady. Always the area was left clean and prepared for the next part of the project. Whenever and whatever the project required the seamlessly requirement was accomplished. Yes the cost of building a pool threw me for a loop but I was looking at days long gone. I am having a party here later this June and very excited to share the pool with my family!

So with my hectic lifestyle, trying to find an outdated filter on my own and continue to drain and fill the tub to keep it nice, I overflowed it while I was changing my baby and I slipped my mind... now it started making some crazy noises and stopped completely.. I was at my wits end, as it was now october and i had been here since january and still not enjoyed my hot tub.. :( i was hoping it would at least be running a year later by xmas LOL! I saw that Spa Doctor had great reviews. He was a tiny bit more expensive than when I had called around looking for the cheapest spa repair and maintenance, but just goes to show you that sometimes you get what you pay for. I gave him a call hoping I would find the help I needed. He said "it's supposed to be relaxing, not cause you stress!" I thought... "exactly.... he gets it!!!" And he assured me he would be able to get my hot tub in perfect working order and also had the capability to get me parts I needed no matter how outdated *including the filter which I was still waiting on in the mail*... He fulfilled his promises and went above and beyond his call of duty. He was professional, highly competent, efficient and friendly to boot!! He came out faster than i expected and was very knowledgeable.. He taught me a LOT! Thanks, Dan...

This was not to spy on Larry but to protect our property when we are gone. When confronted about this he got really confrontational saying our cameras were not working. I call adt to run a system check on our security system and cameras. I had my neighbor and my son go and walk around the pool at different times. The camera started recording when they got 2 steps inside the screen enclosure. There is a camera in the back yard for security, I would see Larry going towards our neighbors house to do there pool. That same day I didn't see him come and do our pool. Then he told me the reason my pool looks so bad was our pool heater was broken. The pool heater wasn't even turned on. The reason I know this is I have 2 water features. When the variable speed pump was on filtration the water features work. When I wanted to use the pool heater I would need to increase the water pressure by turning the variable pump motor to 2 or higher for the water features, and heater to work at the same time. I took pictures and showed 2 different pool companies the way my pool looked. They asked if I had a gas heater? I replied no it was an electric heater, both companies told me if it was gas heater that this could happen especially if all chemicals are out of wack, but not on an electric heater. When got back from being gone for several months, my pool looked horrible. He then charged me $200.00 dollars for chemicals to fix the problem that he caused. I'm also posting pictures of what I came home to, the way it looks now and, the way it looked when I left. To all that read this, this is my opinion.
