This branch I have been working with for over 10 years. Within the last 3 1/2 years they have really gone downhill. Wait times are ridiculous. If you do choose to wait, they insurance department is completely incompetent. I had to return on no less than 13 seperate occassions to get my boat insurance straightened out. They still can't figure out how to cancel one boat, and add another. If you decide to make the gamble with them make sure you check with them periodically and ask for a coopy of your current declaration, and when they owe you money, they will do ANYTHING!! not to pay. Worst service ever! Waited over 90 minutes to complete some DMV paperwork, only to be told after I paid that I would need to complete a smog check and come back. Second time, same long wait and could not complete my transaction because they lost some of my paperwork on the first visit! I asked to speak to a manager who tried to make this my fault! I have been an AAA member for over 42 years, and never been treated so badly! Manager stated if I did not like their service, I should go to a different AAA location! Third visit was an attempt to try to recover the lost title/registration paperwork so I would not have to pay for it again! Same long wait time and poor service. Would not reccomend. Am rethinking why I pay for my membership with AAA. read more

The murrieta office staff are wonderful! The are quick and very helpful to help customers in a timely matter. It's very presentable, organized, and has many resources about traveling, purchasing cars, insurance, travel deals, dmv, and friendly customer services! What I like is that there's no eating in long lines to renew your car registration or drivers lic! (Unless you're getting the new ID's.) read more

Came here for the first time to pay the registration for 2 of my cars and to make a change on my policy. Overall the wait time was quick. I lasted around 5 minutes in the DMV line and another 5 minutes paying and waiting for my receipts. To make the change on my policy I waited another 5-8 minutes. Anthony was very helpful and answered all my questions. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. Can't beat that! read more

Poor customer service from manager. Left work and drove all the way from San Diego to get registration paperwork and headed to AAA. Got there on time waited patiently. Unfortunately I forgot they only took cash or check. ATM was right across the parking lot. I asked if I could just run and grab it, he said he'd ask his manager. He came back and said unfortunately we are already closed and they wouldn't allow it. Really?? 5 additional minutes?? 5 minutes wouldn't have even mattered cause when they leave there was a crap load of traffic anyways smh. Just bad service and starting to turn into the DMV. I got the AAA membership so I didn't have to deal with the DMV. F-this place. Don't expect them to have customer service. Maybe the two that decided it was too much trouble to let me get money to give them to complete my transaction will experience the same. Sad read more

First time here. Plenty of parking and seating on the inside. Open floor plan, seems a bit confusing. As you enter they have 2 lines and easy to check in. Front desk staff are friendly. Went on a Friday afternoon and seemed to move pretty quickly. My only mistake is using the bathroom and then coming out to find that my name was called. After 5-10 minutes and seeing new people getting called, I went back up to the front desk to check. They said my name was called and I had to be rechecked in. So spent about double the time just because I used the bathroom. FYI if you do any DMV, they only accept cash or check. read more

DO NOT USE THEIR DMV SERVICES!!! My mom passed away and I sold her car. I took her death certificate and all of the power of attorney stuff I had with me and signed every thing over according to the instructions the man gave me. This was about a month ago... I just got off the phone with a clueless lady named Linda and she said Sacramento sent the paperwork back because there was no death certificate and that I signed something wrong. I tried to explain that I brought in the death certificate and she told me that I may have had it but that they don't have it. So I get to make another trip over there and the nearest office is 30 minutes away. They can't do this through the mail or via email. I would have saved more time making an appointment at the REAL DMV. I wish they would train their dmv employees so that they can actually be helpful to their customers. BTW, she said that it happens frequently, that the state sends stuff back to them all the time... read more

Absolutely terrible service and very, very, very rude staff, ESPECIALLY the woman with the brown/ dirty blonde hair greeting people at the door, insanely rude and totally unwilling to compromise and provide my grandmother with any place to sit due to this locations completely and totally asinine one person at a time per claim policy. This is after, just about a month back, a worker here refused to wear a mask claiming "she couldn't breath in a mask" WHILE my grandmother was in the same building. This location is one of the few open on Saturday's, so they get my vote for great hours! The ladies at the front desk are always nice when they check you in, but the rest of the staff is hit or miss. There is typically a line on Saturday, so don't be shocked when you have to wait. read more

Always go here for their travel services and they always go above and beyond for me to ensure I have a great vacation. Even when I was on vacation and missed my flight home they took care of everything (extending hotel and car; moving flight etc) without complaint and with enthusiasm. I was originally very impressed with the service here, but now I'm so angry. Upon receiving my first monthly auto insurance bill I see that I'm getting charged about $20 a month for interest on the policy since I am NOT paying in full. I was not told about this and I am so angry that I have to waste money with any other insurance company I've ever had has never done this. Buyer beware that the amount they tell you you're going to pay is not necessarily the exact amount you will owe. I asked if doing automatic payments would alleviate that fee, but was told there is no way of getting out of it except for paying in full read more

Easy to make payments here but pain as they only take cash or debit cards, no credit cards! Really disappointed in AAA service as they keep messing with my insurance and canceled my home insurance without letting me know, then pushed a home owner insurance through one of their linked companies but not AAA so list my multi policy discount! This office has a separate line for DMV registration but when I entered that line I was told that I had to check in at reception. What's the point of having the DMV line?! I had to stand in a line that went all the way to the front door ONLY to be handed an orange card that essentially gave me "permission" to be in the DMV line. This policy creates a long wait for members who expect to have a quick DMV renewal process. read more

Wait at this location is outrageous. This is the second time I have come in to have a document notarized and have had to wait over an hour. The receptionist is incompetent and rude. I keep my AAA membership mainly for the DMV services that they offer, but after waiting for an hour and a half to register a vehicle I would rather pay a different third party registration service more and not have to stand and wait for over an hour. I have been a member with AAA for 48 years. Over that last couple of years I have noticed that the customer service has really gone down hill. In the past 3 months I have spoken with 3 different agents from 3 different locations to get a Homeowner's quote. I got 3 different quotes. Using the same parameters, why would that happen. Because of this issue I called the Murrieta location yesterday and left a message for the manager, Donovan. Half way through the day today, no return call. So I called again and asked the Donovan. He was short and rude with me and said he was too busy to check his messages from yesterday. He did not have the courtesy to apologize for this. I indicated that I might be doing something different and his response, with an attitude, was "ok". Pretty pathetic Donovan. We'll be making some changes. 48 years counts for nothing, right? Talking of not only great service but also the fastest time to get things done. I read some of the reviews but I think the office of AAA Club in Murrieta needs to be clarified. So far being a member of the AAA Club for decades now I would gladly recommend Murrieta Office if you leave nearby. Then someone at the La quinta office picks up maybe the calls get rerouted! they are helpful in La quinta but i needed to talk to the Murrieta branch! Maybe the Manager should be available to take calls! I have multiple policies with AAA but it seems i can never talk to anyone via phone! Horrible customer service and unorganized. I came in to get an auto insurance and the whole process was a mess. I provided the info needed for the auto insurance the day I came in and I get a call over a week later asking for the same info so they can complete the application. I thought everything was handled at the time I came in because I was given a print out of the new policy. I felt like I was hassled to get the auto insurance and the agent was probably trying to meet her numbers. I received the policy the mail and my last name was spelled wrong and the leinholder was incorrect. I asked to have it corrected and update the leinholder and send me a copy so I can show it to my bank a few times and I never received a response back. A few weeks later I get a Home insurance policy in the mail that I did NOT ask for or sign for. I called the customer service and was told that the agent processed and actual policy. It's a waste of time to make calls to cancel it and call my mortgage company to make sure nothing is updated. Everytime I had questions or communicated with the agent I never received a response back to what I was asking for. I'm not happy with their service and will look at other options for insurance and services. read more

Came in and waited in line, then someone came up from behind and walked past the line to a woman who just finished helping someone. Instead of directing her back to the line she helped her clearly seeing I had been waiting. Then when we get to the front they don't apologize or offer any explanation. No body wears a name tag so I cannot list whom it was but she was training someone else, which concerns me more that this won't get fixed at all at this location. read more

went to transfer title for trailer i just bought. checked in and they said have a seat and you will be called. After 50 minutes and watching 5 people go before me I went back up to see why I hadnt been called. I rather go to this office than the Riverside office, even though it's a bit further to drive. It's smaller but it doesn't have the long wait lines of Riverside. I've never had a problem with their DMV services but a couple months ago & went here to do an billing address change & get a printout of my coverage on my homes. After I got home I did notice an error & called the 800 number. The error was corrected easily by the agent on call & the corrected proof of coverage was faxed right away. I cant blame the agent at Murrieta because this request of mine was not what one would usually ask for. read more

Wow 10+ people waiting before opening for mostly DMV fees. The insurance guy came out and helped check people in with the 2 other ladies up front. They did a great job managing the line and I was at the end of the line @ 9 am and was still out by 9:15 great job. They would get 5 stars if the two ladies up front would have smiled but they kept their heads down getting through the line. read more
