The facility is clean, so many machines and dryers available, and the staff is friendly. It's coin only so bring cash and you can get coins from their machine. It's open to the public on weekends and Wednesday starting at 9am. Their drop off rate is something like $2.50/lb with a 15lb min and we just didn't have that much to wash. I'm so grateful this place was here as we needed to do laundry twice during our stay.

We tried every way we could think of to get it in the house and up the stairs ... not only was the item large and heavy ... it was also delicate and complicated to move, given its design, electrical wiring, motor and hydraulics. Clearly we were out of our league and needed help. It was 4:45 pm. on a Wednesday. We found On Call Moving's info online, called the number, and connected immediately with Jim. Jim was a Godsend! He was scheduled to be down the street from us, and made a quick trip to our home to see how he could help. Over the next few days he worked closely with Joleesa, at On Call's office, to get our job done. Despite On Call's extremely busy schedule, everything came together Friday afternoon. Joleesa called to get us in their system. Jim arrived with a three-man crew: Jesse, Sergio and Carlos. Everyone was super polite and respectful, professional, skilled at their job and well prepared, bringing clean moving blankets and securing tie downs. Jim, Jesse, Sergio and Carlos communicated with us and with each other calmly, clearly, thoughtfully and effectively. Together they got the job done safely and efficiently ... most importantly, with no injuries ... and happily, with no damage to the item or our home. Extremely difficult situation with rude incompetent staff. The woman who waited on me had no…read moreinterest in helping. Only told me there was nothing she could do. The project was done wrong but I had no printed receipt (I had credit card statement showing payment) I accepted the project by paying. Looked at first print and it was wrong so staff person took it back and reprinted and it looked ok, so I left and realized later, on my trip to Michigan, they were wrong.(2 sided orientation upside down) I called and explained what happened and whoever I talked to said they couldn't help, that I should have seen the problem. No apology, no acceptance of responsibility. When I returned I went into the shop and received even worse treatment. I really became angry at the clerk. She was horrible and I dropped an f bomb. I said "you stand there having totally botched a project all you can do is tell me how I fu$&@d up. I apologized. She lied to her manager who was also no help. I wrote to the owner. No help. This whole thing was just terrible service start to finish. I've never blown up at anyone in a business professional setting before. I've worked in Healthcare 40 years and volunteered here in the valley as well, I know how to treat people. This was off the chart poor customer service. Because I lost my temper the whole thing is on me now. I am that obnoxious rude customer so they feel entitled to do nothing.
