I've been a member for 11 years, and I've never been offered this before, so I was really impressed by how helpful and informative she was. She wasn't pushy or trying to "impress" me into anything else, just cute, bubbly, friendly, and quick to help. I also needed a quote for auto insurance. I've been with Allstate for 16 years, but with my new vehicle, they were charging me way too much. Yasmin referred me to Fernando, and I'm so glad she did. She truly trusts him, and after speaking with him, I can see why. Fernando was exceptional. He was very honest about what I should and shouldn't have on my policy. He also didn't pressure me to pay extra for anything I didn't want. He even helped me understand additional discounts I didn't know I could get. I called three other insurance companies, and AAA ended up being the best price. Fernando also made everything feel genuine--more like talking with a friend than dealing with a sales person. I went online, filled out all the paperwork and they gave me an estimate of $62 a month or about 750 a year , so I'm thinking this is a good deal so I go to close a deal and they say that they're computers down or whatever you can't finish it online so I go to their office in Lancaster and show the guy the offer and what they do they go to Carfax ,Carfax tracks. Everything you do in your car so if you get your oil changed, it's reported to Carfax so I go there. I drive about thousand miles per year so of course they don't believe you when you tell him that so they gave me an estimate of 10,000 miles and I go. What are you talking about? I'm retired. I don't drive that much so basically they gave me an estimate of $1200 per year. I told the guy that's ridiculous way overpriced and left ,horrible service bait and switch if you have any sense at all you won't go to AAA they're a total scam you go online get your estimate. It's all BS the biggest scam. The guy was completely rude so I'll never go to AAA again. I should've known better. I had them years ago. I dropped them about 10 years ago. I don't know why I tried to go back there place its a joke. AAA is overpriced go to an independent insurance company. The ones that advertise a lot like AAA GEICO farmers all those big-time insurance companies they have to pay for those commercials so who do you think pays for that you do as a customer with higher rate so go to an independent insurance company. Horrible service, came in to make adjustments to my auto insurance. I will note that i have been a member for 10 years. I get a call two days prior letting me know that my group insurance policy needs to be renewed, but i can't just renew the policy because now im being told that each driver on the policy has to have an individual policy. No explanation why, i get a horrible high quote so i decide to go in person the next day. I have to check into the front desk, then the insurance desk then im told to wait for an insurance agent. Guy calls me with a notable attitude. I start explaining that i have a group policy under my moms name (she is a disabled 72yr old). Guy checks my info and as i tell him i want to keep things as they are he tells me i cant, i have to get individual policies. I said ok can i get a price breakdown for each car, he says no i have to talk to a licensed agent. I ask him aren't you an insurance agent? He says no. So at this point im done with his attitude and want to proceed to cancel the policy. He tells me i can't, only the policy holder can, im on the account authorized to make changes fyi. I said this is bs, he wants to force my mom in person to make any changes despite her being disabled. Horrible service from this branch. I recommend going to santa clarita. I called in about my membership number one they had me add someone on my account making it seem like this person that I added would have their own membership and their own account but in reality their person was attached to my account and my points and my stuff they charged me for that person's toe they did not put it on there for toes they put it on mine and when I called in about it they said they would look into it they would get back to me I wasn't satisfied with it the response or the answer only because they see that it was her they see that her membership was used but they said they need to verify the voice who you who called in so yeah and then I also wanted to take her off which they were giving me a hard time about and then they also made me believe that once I paid that fee of 125 that I can reactivate my membership which was not in the factual at all it actually takes 48 hours to process or complete and then I'll be able to apply again for a membership I did not appreciate getting the runaround getting hung up on having to call back four or five times having to be ridiculed why I want to speak to a supervisor why I want this why I want that when I'm a customer and a consumer calling in a long time customer at that I was very disappointed in the future I will not recommend them and I probably will stop being a AAA customer. read more

This review is I. Reference to the Lancaster location. Not the AAA roadside service. Mabelline is the main reason that office gains 5 stars. She always goes above and beyond each if it's just an extra smile at the folks in line. I have been there 4 x and 3 of them I was lucky enough to get her. She does it all works the front desk removes license plates works the DMV line and I think I seen her help someone with notary services as well. I just wanted to give a shout out and say kudos to her for remembering what customer service really is. I felt appreciated there. I also was helped once by a middle aged African American man with glasses (sorry I forgot his name) in the DMV area who was quite delightful. He is definitely a people person. I also noticed onsite security was observant enough to run over and open the doors for a handicapped visitor so I'm sure that's his norm. It made me feel pleased to have spent my money with them and made me look around to see if there were any additional products of theirs that I could or would use. Thanks Lancaster office. First time coming to this AAA office in Lancaster, CA. Walked in at 330p and there were 5 people in front to check in at the member service desk. A staff walked over to greeted customers and quickly the 5 became one in front. They helped answer my dmv registration question and were thorough. I came in to get a discounted passport photo as mentioned on the website. :) great place I highly recommend. I use to live in Los Angeles where lines are crazy so this was rewarding to experience how quickly the staff take care of customers. Clean office, clean floors and great staff. First time at this Location, I drove my best buddy here to take care of some paperwork back in February. When we walked in the girl at the front desk did not seem happy and definitely didn't want to go the extra mile. We asked to speak to someone and luckily Marisol was the one to help us. She was super friendly and went above and beyond for my friend. My friend was 79 at the time and Marisol seemed very interested in what stories my friend was telling. She was so compassionate and took care of everything we needed. Great customer service, this might be the location I use if Marisol is there. I went to get my stickers for the new year, my registration was already paid off and had proof of that. I recently moved to Palmdale and have no intention of going back to my old home which is in the San Fernando Valley. It's about 45 minutes away and all I needed was the stickers because I no longer live in that address. I wish she was more help and not rude. She shouldn't be working in customer service if she has a shit attitude. I moved to them from Allstate thinking I'd be saving money when another representative calls me and tells me my rate actually went up by almost 300 dollars! We waited a while then after 30 minutes a travel agent by the name of Eva Rodriguez greeted us. She was so patient and explained our options so thoroughly. She treated us like family. 29 years, the last 2 have been a nightmare of proving to them that the battery they sold me was crap. I didn't need them, most of that time, but I kept paying. when the pandemic hit, I didn't drive much, any when they told me i needed a new battery, i figured they would stand behind it. They haven't. They stand behind their excuses, regulations, and illegibly tiny print. Their driver said the battery was fine, I had an electrical problem. Not true. I actually just became a member today with AAA and also got my car insurance through them. I was helped by a guy named Jay who got me in and out of there quick, helped me so much and was the nicest guy ever and funny too. Great customer service. We placed the first call at around 11am. Received multiple updates thru txt that it's delayed. EVERYTIME it's a different towing company, it was 115 degrees outside and we r about 50miles from home. We even had to call the towing company ourselves to get updates. My husband has a heart condition and recently had knee surgery and the 115 degrees was really affecting him. The car did not get towed until 4:30-5pm and got home till 6pm. To add to insult, everytime we called the phone rep was so rude and unprofessional except for the last one that assisted me. This is not what we paid for!! This is unacceptable and truly unprofessional. We r currently considering cancelling membership. Nobody has called from AAA to apologize. We were told by the towing company that AAA contracted towing companies that are cheap but at the same time makes their decision if they want to tow your car or not if it's inconvenient for them based on location and distance from the clients home. What exactly are we paying for here?? You would think being a member for 35+ year would make a difference but obviously this company is a JOKE. I went in and one of their travel agents, Traci helped us. She was Amazing! She answered Every question, and I had allot of them. She got us a Great deal in Maui, with everything we needed, and wanted included, for Far less than we could have Ever done on our own, through some travel sight. Those good for our little weekend get aways, but from Every story I've heard, don't ever plan a substantial vacation on any of those; but I digress. Traci was very friendly, highly competent, and made planning the trip an exciting, and fun experience. She had us booked out, and very excited!
