He said that Rainier trained and prepared him well. His final lesson was 2 weeks ago, and they did a few routes of "mock testing" at the DMV on a Sunday when the DMV was closed. My first son had Eric as an instructor, and my second son had Rainier. We have had an excellent experience all around with Driving Eric Crazy and recommend them to all our friends who are looking for a referral. We are thrilled with the results and can confidently say that our older son (now 18 years old) is a fantastic and safe driver -- in fact, the ongoing chatter in his friend group is that he's by far the best driver of all his other teenage friends! From the start, communication was terrible -- calls and texts went unanswered, lessons were rescheduled last minute, and they acted like my time didn't matter at all. The instructor was impatient, dismissive, and spent more time criticizing than actually teaching. Instead of explaining mistakes calmly, they made sarcastic comments and created a stressful environment that made it harder to learn. That's the exact opposite of what a new driver needs. The owner wasn't any better -- defensive, disrespectful, and unwilling to take responsibility for anything. Customer service is basically nonexistent. Once they have your money, they stop caring. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. There are plenty of driving schools that actually value their students and know how to teach professionally.

Your experience will depend on which instructor was assigned to you. My relative had two different instructors, very different from each other. Soleiman had a nice modern car, but his heart was not in teaching the driver but more of criticizing him all the time. His attitude, I've been told, was as if this job was a side gig to him. Not passionate about teaching, and seems to not be passionate about driving in general. My relative then switched instructors to Mayela. Mayela's car was a tad outdated and kinda dirty on the inside. The good: Business owner Dee, I've been told, is a lovely woman to have a chat with. She is certainly someone who is passionate about teaching, and I'm certain most of her employees are the same.
