SUPER UNETHICAL!!!!…read more I would NOT recommencement this place at all!!! I purchased a combo package of online Ed plus the 6 hours behind the wheel training for my son. I selected this place, because it has been around for awhile, not too many reviews but they were good, and other driving ed services weren't  currently providing the 6 hours behind the wheel training part, required by the DMV. After my son completed his Online training. I emailed the company asking for the best way to get the certificate. I was told they were going to mail it. 10 days later, they still hadn't mail the certificate. Finally arranged to come over and pick it up.  When I was there, Abdul explained to me that he was going to reduce the 6 hour training to 4 hours due to Covid, to reduce his exposure. I asked if he was going to refund me those 2 hours difference. He said that I was not paying by the hour but for a package, and he was going to make sure to cover all the points required in those 4 hours. I questioned several times about the "practice" being important for a new driver. He said that that would come with The parents 50 hours requirement driving log. After my son passed his DMV exam, I contacted Abdul to schedule a behind the wheel training session. He immediately asked if I was the lady that picked up the certificate the other day, I said yes, he said he was not going to be scheduling a behind the wheel training. He was going to give me a refund for the behind the wheel portion of the training minus his "administrative fee".... He cancelled on me because I questioned the 6 hours behind the wheel, mind you - "mandatory by law", and Charged me for his $11 "administrative fees". We went back-and-forth about this and he's unethical practices. Why was I paying for his administrative fees, when he was the one cancelling on me? At one point he did offer to do the behind the wheel portion of the training; However, by then I had already committed somewhere else. I told him I was going to share this experience online, and he threatened to sue me for $8000 for not following company's guidelines - HA!

It was easy communication to set everything up and she would come and pick them up at the door. She didn't honk at them in our driveway, but instead got out which I thought was awesome! From the boys perspective, she was very through with them while driving and they learned a lot from her. We already had 1 kid do their behind the wheel test and passed and the next one is in April. Only thing I didn't like was just the last minute cancels or rescheduling but I know life is hard but overall totally recommend it and will be using them again in a year or so again for the next teen in the house.

He was able to get his first 2 sessions in before the pandemic hit. The program is setup for your 3rd session to prepare you for the road test. But once the pandemic set in, he couldn't get an appointment for his dmv road test. Laura was kind enough to extend the last session for a period of time closer to his road test. (You have a limited time to complete all 3 sessions if you pay for the 3 session/6 hour deal). Laura was reasonably flexible, on time, and prepared my son for his road test. It was the best value I could find. She came to our house in Eastlake and picked him up in clean and safe sedan. Communication was simple and clear. No miscommunications. Laura did a great job prepping my son to drive. Needless to say, he passed his test with no issues. I recommend national city driving school to anyone looking for a legitimate learning experience, with a professional teacher, at a great value. Shop around and you will see the value in what they offer. Take the complete package, it's worth the initial investment.

Due to the abrupt closure of another driving school, we were left to find another company to finish out the last 2 hr lesson. Andrew was able to provide my child's last lesson two days before her Behind the Wheel test with DMV. Before the lesson started, he contacted their support who emailed me with specific instructions in contacting DMV to confirm the 4 hours of driving instruction was recorded and on file. Once confirmed, Jessi another instructor from Coastline came in clutch to deliver the Golden Ticket the day before the DMV appt. I will add that Coastline's emailed driving report after my child's lesson was super helpful and gave insight to areas that needed improvement. We didn't receive any feedback from the previous company/instructors.

UPDATE: emailed them and got a response full of excuses . Definitely won't be going back here …read more Horrible . Horrible . Horrible . If you really want to learn how to ride a bike , you might as well let a monkey teach you. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this class for beginners . I was lucky enough to know a little before going into this class thanks to my boyfriend teaching me and me owning a bike already. The instructors will just watch you and not help you whenever your bike stalls which was super annoying and upsetting to watch . I had to end up helping fellow students. Students dropped their bike and no one would run to help . First time I took the riding test , I failed by 5 points for not turning my head ENOUGH. They "recommend " I pay $100 to do another day of training and a retake of the test (of course they "recommend " the option where I have to pay ). The second day I went back to the riding course to retake JUST the test which was free. I once again failed , except this time it was much WORSE. Before starting the test the instructors told me they're were not notified by the office of me retaking my test. When they showed me what bike I would be on , I asked "can I use the Honda grom since that is the bike I used throughout practice days " , to which the instructor said "that would take too long for me to take out " like SERIOUSLY ?? I paid $300 for this course and they couldn't even take out the bike I was comfortable with using. I later notified the instructor AGAIN that I was not comfortable with the BIG bike they assigned me with and I could not ride it properly , to which he once again told me it was apparently my fault that I was assigned that bike and that it would take him "too long to take the bike out " . Going towards the end of the test , the instructor pulled me to the side in front of the entire class and told me I failed by 6 points and that I could get my stuff and leave ( this happened before the test was even over ). I felt this was completely inappropriate and I should not have gone through this . I am so upset I wasted $300 to not learn anything and get treated like Sh*t . Also to add , they do not provide shade for any of the students . They will make you sit in hot leather chairs in the sun. UPDATE: emailed them and got a response full of excuses . Definitely won't be going back here .
