We needed a transfer from rural Pennsylvania to rural Virginia, and Patrick was happy to accommodate us. He communicated well and arrived precisely on time - wearing a suit! He loaded our luggage into the immaculate and very large SUV, while telling us about some potential traffic delays. The traffic turned out to not be quite so bad, and we arrived at our destination a little bit early. Patrick played excellent music, and kept us entertained with stories for most of the trip. And when we arrived, he carried our luggage to the door. And all that, for a very reasonable rate - not much more than if we'd rented a car and driven ourselves. I just don't see any other option for the next time I'm in the region - Patrick will be the first call I make.

They blamed the fact that some people backed out, but that's not our problem. We were supposed to visit maid of the mist Monday and caves of wind Tuesday. She found out the caves were closed Tuesday When we showed up. This should have been researched prior to the trip. Totally unorganized. Instead of flipping days, we had to do both events in succession. Very rushed! It was a long walk and we had elderly folks who were struggling to keep up. I let the owners know that some of us were unsatisfied with how the trip was progressing on the second day. Instead of standing up and explaining, she sat like a bull and didn't speak to anyone. Most of the poor explanations we did get were second hand, word of mouth. Owners were moody and uncommunicative for the last half of the trip. Very uncomfortable.

Also, the shower curtain had a ring topper which encompasses the entire tub. This made the shower curtain touch your skin while in the shower. The tub was very difficult to get in and out of; it could use a step. The bed---- This was the most uncomfortable $200 bed a night I have ever stayed in. We just stayed the night before at a La Quinta and it was amazingly comfortable!! It was a double bed that leaned to one side. It was uneven therefore you could sleep welll. The pillows were the thinnest pillows I've used in years and you only get 2.
