I use AAA for regular garbage service and, recently, for a couple of roll off containers. They do a fine job for the regular weekly (garbage & recyclables)service and bulk pick up. I have no complaints. I also recently had the need for roll off containers. They provided 2 sizes (40 & 20 yard), the first one (40 yard) was pristine while the second (20 yard) definitely saw some action but I was renting a dumpster for a week and filling with garbage so I didn't need a show piece. Anyway, overall the experience was positive, they went out of their way to accommodate a timing issue I had and I would use them again. read more

we have gotten eight dumpsters from them. 20 yd each. customer service was good at the beginning. and we were charged $600 plus dollars for each dumpster. only now to find out they have been adding on $150 charge after every single dumpster! we have never been adding construction materials or overweight and make sure it's flat when it's being picked up. they say it's for gas and their time which should have been included when we first asked for a quote for their dumpster and delivery and pickup! when questioned about it, the female customer service account in person said that is their policy and they aren't changing the additional charge. because of that they will never see our business again and I will let know everyone I come in contact with in the construction business. no never to use them and residential people should stay away as well! they really let us down and also ripped us off even though we had been good customers for over a year! On another note one of their drivers absolutely crushed our gate when he was dropping off the dumpster and begged us not to call it in because it was his first day and to his credit he spent an hour trying to pry it back but now that we know the type of company we are dealing with we will be making a report. Very unfortunate experience with AAA Carting, and most specifically the owner Pat. After leaving a dumpster in my driveway for a month longer than it was supposed to be there (I was out of town) through a humid August heatwave, I finally was able to reach Pat, who was completely arrogant and unhelpful. Not only was he evasive and hostile about why the dumpster was left for 1 month (was supposed to be a three-day dumpster), he refused to take any responsibility for the oversight and unwilling to work towards a good faith resolution to the damage inflicted on my driveway from humidity and rain weight. There are lots of great carting and dumpster companies in the area...Want my advice? Use them instead. read more

This is the most unprofessional business that I've ever encountered. The owner Pat is unprofessional, rude, obnoxious, arrogant, and abrasive. We rented a dumpster from this company. They delivered it, putting it on our slanted driveway. They secured the wheels with 2 pieces of wood. The dumpster rolled down the drivewa, running into our car which was parked on the street. We took pictures of the incident. It was very clear in the pictures, that the dumpster rolled across the sidewalk into our car. Pat, the owner said that looking at the pictures, the car hit the dumpster. It was quite obvious that the dumpster, wasn't dropped off, in a residential neighborhood across a sidewalk. our car was hit from the side by the dumpster. Pat also said that it wasn't their responsibility to secure the dumpster. He refused to take responsibility. saying that it was our responsibility. when I said that I would be giving his business a bad review. He said go ahead! I can't believe that anyone could do business with this disrespectful man. Stay away from this business! If I could give a negative five I would. They were nasty, rude and unprofessional. The first dumpster they sent was rusted all the way around and had a huge hole in the bottom that we could barely put anything in. I called them for 4 days to come and rectify the problem. I was told to go and buy a board from home Depot for twenty bucks and put it in to cover the hole. So basically they wanted me to spend $20 to throw away a board that they should have not brought that Dumpster. The man on the phone Angelo was very nasty and finally showed up, put a plastic piece over the hole and told me that that dumpster should never have been delivered and left. I had not anticipated needing more than a 10-yard dumpster. So I called them to come and take the one that was filled and replace it with a new one. That took another three days of calling them begging them and getting no response. When they did finally bring the new dumpster it was a better one. We filled that dumpster and on Friday morning at 6 a.m. without any warning they came to pick it up. Everyone in my house was sleeping and the dispatcher probably Angelo again demanded to have us move the car so they could get the dumpster off our property. When my son-in-law refused to go up and wake me up he was cursed at. the dispatcher also told him that the driver was going to come into my house go up my stairs and wake me up to move the vehicles that were blocking the dumpster. Called the State Police explained that my family had been threatened. I was told to call them and make arrangements for them to pick up the dumpster. When I called the dispatcher was very nasty and rude so I told him he needed to speak to my attorney and hung up. And I proceeded to send an email detailing all the problems and arrange for a pickup of the dumpster through my attorney. And I got a nasty response back. The dispatcher also threatened to have the dumpster picked up and everything in it dumped on my driveway. This company is far from professional. Far from helpful. Not only was dumpster delivered with holes through the bottom, but when I called to pick the dumpster up they never showed and when I called back they said maybe tomorrow but couldn't give me a definite day. So this is my second time using this company and shame on me because I should have taken more time and done more research and spend my money elsewhere. I called on a Monday to have a dumpster dropped off and they were there by Tuesday morning (I was overjoyed). But when the dumpster arrived it had a huge hole in the bottom which should have been sign number one but I just used a large piece of Sheetrock which was garbage to cover it. The dumpster seemed smaller than the dumpster is ordered before but they assured me it was the same size. Moving forward to pick up time...I called on a Monday and a Wednesday prior to a severe snow storm and then on a Friday. A foot of snow sleet and rain fell on top of the garbage in the dumpster and conveniently the dumpster was picked up on Saturday and by the following Monday morning I was charged an extra $84 for the dumpster being overweight. Duhhh of course it's overweight the garbage is saturated with water. After calling to express my concerns about the tardy pickup and overweight charges I was transferred to the arrogant and nasty manager who offered to reimburse me $15 which I've yet to receive. HORRIBLE!!!!! Oh and there's more!!!! The manager who was so angry I gave him a worthy poor review on yelp he called me at 6:32am to tell me he's resending my $15 credit!!! Zero star rating. Let me start off by warning everyone never to use AAA Carting Services. Don't be fooled by the name AAA. It should be a crime for them to use these letters. This company is the biggest rip off that exist in Westchester County. The owner should feel guilty sleeping at night, ripping off home owners, small businesses and others. Let me be specific on why we are giving them this rating. On Tuesday, my wife and I rented a 10 yard dumpsters to get rid of some bathroom debris: floor tiles (10x10 bathroom), some sheet rock for the shower, we broke the vinyl tub and shower and some other minor debris. When the dumpster was dropped off, it had garbage and ice inside, which I will show photos of and we called AAA to let them know. Being that we didn't have much garbage to dump, we knew that the garbage would not make a significant difference and that we will still be able to fit the materials we were dumping. We called AAA carting and they said that they took the weight of it and will adjust the bill. Yeah right. We filled the dumpster approximately 3/4's of the way with the middle being hollow. We got the dumpster on Wednesday and called 3 days later for pick up. On Monday morning, we noticed an additional $125.00 taken out of our account without any authorization and before the dumpster was even picked up. When I called the representative he stated that it was standard for them to do that and if the weight is not over they will refund the money. I explained that when we order our last dumpster from them, which we paid in cash, they did not do this so why are they doing it now? Is it because we paid in cash? He could not provide a legitimate explanation as to why that didn't happen. A few hours later, AAA took an additional $163.00 out of our account, again without any authorization. This time I called AAA and spoke to Pat who I believe is the owner's son. At that point, he tried claiming that the dumpster weighed 2 tons and we are only allowed 1 ton. I told him that I find that hard to believe because the dumpster was only 3/4 filled and if we went over that would mean that we could only filled the dumpster 1/2 way to meet their weight limit, which makes no logical sense. Furthermore, I reminded him that we rented a 25 yard dumpster from them in the past for $450.00, which we filled with brick and concrete and did not go over any weight limit so how can he charge us more for a 10 yard dumpster with lighter material. He responded that its different for that type of material. THAT MAKES NO SENSE! He then offered to send me a receipt from the weighing station and I told him not to bother because anyone can ask a fellow business to make a fraudulent receipt. I told him that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint because I believe that they are taking advantage of home owners. At that point, he became extremely angry and stated "I pick up your garbage in Yorktown and how would you like if I don't pick up your garbage" and hung up. After the initial shock of being threatened, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will be contacting the Yorktown Environmental Conservation Department tomorrow to inform them of the threat. No one should be subject to being threatened of having their garbage not being picked up because a dispute with a charge. We are tax payers in Yorktown and pay for this service monthly and should not be subject to this type of behavior. This is unprofessional and unethical for a business to conduct themselves in such a manner. Furthermore, I would like it to be known that our curb (berm) was damaged by the dump truck when it picked up the dumpster, but I could not discuss this with Pat because he hung up the phone. Finally, what type of business owner would not care about their reputation and how customers perceive them? What happened to Customer Service? Why would a business owner want to damaged their reputation with the customer for $163.00? Maybe $163.00 doesn't seem like much, but if they do that to all their customers it adds up. They are absolutely horrible!! I spoke to Linda to schedule a bulk pick up.. She even called a few days before to confirm the pick up. The day of it wasn't picked up. I called a week later and spoke to Linda again who then said it was scheduled for another day, not the one she told me. Then said they would come some time this week. She was so damn rude and obnoxious. My husband then called later that morning and spoke with Linda. She actually denied talking to me that morning. When he yelled and insisted she finally "remembered" talking to me. And said they would come either today or tomorrow. My husband the spoke to someone claiming to be the supervisor and he had the nerve to call me a liar, that Linda never said what she said to me. They carelessly placed their dumpster in my driveway in such a way that it crushed the curbing in 2 places and killed my neighbor's low shrubs on the other side. They ignored telephone complaints. I tried to get my credit card charges reversed, but the credit card company (M & T Bank, beware of them too!) refused, saying that the services were "provided and accepted". They Will Not Take Responsibility For Damage To Your Property. About a week ago (mid-August 2019), I rented a 20 yd. dumpster from AAA Carting. It was delivered and placed at the end of my driveway. It was full by the next day and was picked up. No Problem. I mention that because I needed another 20 yd. dumpster. And it was delivered and placed in the same location. But this time: 1) they crushed and broke branches off several of my neighbor's hedges, 2) they crushed the asphalt curb running alongside the hedges, 3) they broke off pieces of curbstone on the opposite side. I sent an e-mail with photos attached. No reply. When I spoke with the man (don't know his name) on the phone, he said it is not their responsibility. He said it was my fault if there was not enough room to place a dumpster. When I pointed out that the first driver delivered and picked up a dumpster in the exact same location without any problems, he basically blew me off. He was pretty nasty about it. I will never work with this company again. And unless you like fighting, I suggest that you shouldn't work with them either. I have already: 1) spoken with my contractor who agrees AAA should be responsible and I suggested that he not recommend this company to future clients, 2) disputed the charge with my credit card, 3) scheduled to speak with a lawyer tomorrow. Seriously do not know where to begin with these guys. Ordered a cart from the orange county branch of co. and of course was fine, they were getting money for service. Delivery of cart was late 1pm instead of morning drop off...2 or 3 days later get a call they messed up and dropped wrong size a bigger one and wanted to charge me!!! When I said I can't afford that I was told they'd just leave it on the driveway for me to handle instead of trying to come to some kind of amicable agreement.
