Plus it smelled…read more Called out a septic (country living) specialist who diagnosed the issue as one, the system was overdue for a routine emptying as well as the leach lines were also in need of TLC. The septic specialist recommended Cameron and his business, Progressive Excavating & Grading out of Hughson, California to address the failing leach line system. It had been over 20 years since the tank or lines had been serviced. That should never happen; once annual maintenance is a must. Cameron, the owner, came out and quickly yet accurately diagnosed the issues and explained the options available. The key for me was how CLEAN and neat their work was, both while performing it and in the clean-up. One photo I uploaded here is of the long, , dirt driveway which had to be trenched to lay the new leach lines. They leveled it leaving it more attractive in appearance than before they worked it. We went with having a new leach line system installation. All of the people who were here at the ranch working seemed comfortable and confidant in their abilities and as I watched them work they also seemed like they enjoyed their work. No swearing nor leaving of litter after they departed; I really appreciated the courtesy, professionalism, and respect shown by everyone representing this business. I uploaded a few pictures today here on Yelp with the intention of painting some sort of picture t describe the major laboriousness of this project which they completed in less than 10 hours. That more than anything amazed me. I watched them swiftly yet skillfully as I saw no signs then nor now of any underground damages occurring from their excavation work. Loved this. I found them to be honest and reliable. Cameron told us the truth and stood by his estimate and workmanship. He and the septic man worked wonderfully together to return the septic system here at home, to pristine condition. Thanks.

Mentioned it was for a backyard excavation and grading along with photos. It seems that they don't cater to residential backyard work and the secretary who was corresponding to my message will forward it to the right personnel. So although ChatGPT recommended this company for the specific need I was looking for- clearing pavement, trees, man made pond so I can create a kitchen island bar with new concrete, my job wasn't worth checking out since it seems like they do more commercial work and larger scale excavation.
