My youngest daughter have been struggling with learning how to drive. My eldest daughter and I…read moretried to teach her, but we needed to bring in the professionals. I found Sarah's Driving & Traffic School online. They are conveniently located in Upland. I gave them a call to find out more information. I spoke with Sarah, the owner. Very pleasant and nice lady. She was professional, informative, and answered all my questions. Thank you Sarah! After speaking with Sarah, I was comfortable in booking 3x sessions 2 hrs per session for a total of 6 hours of driving school instructions for my daughter. Booking and payment were made easy online. The purchase is good for one year from the date of purchase. When you're ready for the 1st session, just call or text them to schedule it. They are open from Monday through Friday. Even though their business office is closed on the weekends, their driving instructors are available to teach on the weekends which is perfect for us. Driving instructor, Monica, was excellent and amazing! She was very friendly and provided clear feedback on my daughter's driving. Thank you Monica! Appointment reminders and after driving lesson follow-up were made timely. My daughter has now completed her 6 hours. She's not quite ready to take her driving test, but she feels a whole lot more confident with her driving. Thank you again Sarah and Monica for making the whole experience exceptional for my daughter and me! If you are in need of professional driving instructions, search no more. Since my daughter is 18, she wasn't required to do the behind the wheel training but she opted to do it anyways to ensure she was 100% confident come the day of her test. We did a few Driving training days and then the 2 hours of driving on the actual test day around the DMV and used their vehicle for the driving test. My daughter had struggled to pass her permit test (failed 3 times to be exact ) so obviously she was very nervous when it came to taking her driving test. Martin trained her so well and ensured her confidence was at an all time high that she passed her driving test with flying colors and on her FIRST TRY! We absolutely recommend West Coast Driving School and although the rest of my kiddos have quite a few years ahead of them before they start driving, I will absolutely be using them for all of our driving training needs.

I have had my opinions about the way they run things here. I've tried to stay positive about them…read morebut today was the last straw. 1. Scheduling opens up once a month and you cannot schedule all lessons up front OR schedule for the following month (something that they don't disclose until you've already paid everything up front). So you're at the mercy of what's open/left over for the month or hope to catch the next open date. 2. No one answers the office line. 3. Instructors inform my daughter Sundays are open but the office gives different information. 4. I had to cancel my daughter's driving instruction because she woke up sick with a high fever, but because it's not a "48-hour" notice, I'm charged a $50 fee OR provide a doctor's note. First off, who anticipates their child being sick 48 hours ahead of time. Second, why would I drag my child out of bedrest to the doctor's? Besides that, the instructors (per my daughter) are nice. In my honest opinion, I would not recommend this company to anyone else.

This driving school has significant issues that make it difficult to recommend. I want to…read moreacknowledge that there are polite instructors; However, one instructor left me with a particularly bad impression and can only be described as outright rude and unprofessional, which is exactly the kind of experience beginners should not have, as it only increases driving anxiety. The instructor constantly pressured me while I was driving and even commented that my lessons were a "waste of money." On the day of the driving test, they told me, "You will fail the test." I did fail and seem like a waste of money. Looking back, choosing this school was my biggest mistake. The car they use is in poor condition. It is very easy to unintentionally exceed the speed limit, especially because the speedometer does not provide an accurate or clear speed reading. This already undermines safe learning. The teaching style makes the situation worse. During practice, when I became nervous and was driving about 5 mph below the speed limit, the car in front of me was already exceeding the limit. I explicitly asked the instructor whether I should follow the speed of the car ahead. Instead of addressing my hesitation, the instructor simply told me to speed up. This response is deeply concerning. Any instructor familiar with California roads should understand how aggressive drivers can be and how easily pressure increases risk, especially for learners. Under this kind of instruction, it is difficult to develop safe driving habits. The school charges $460 for six hours plus the driving test, which is unreasonable given the quality of instruction. At the same price level, far more patient and detailed instructors are easy to find elsewhere, so there is no justification for this cost. This school seems suitable for people who have already been driving for years. For beginners or nervous drivers, the environment may be encouraging at times, but there is a real chance it can also be stressful, discouraging, and counterproductive. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend the school. As noted earlier, there are some polite instructors, and I am sharing my experience and observations here solely for reference. Side note: I passed the behind-the-wheel test with a different school six days later, with a total of only one hour of practice during those six days. Given this outcome, I found it hard to blame all my failure in the first test was solely due to my own driving ability, rather than the discouraging remarks before the test and the quality of instruction I received at this school :)

Multiple times, I tried to brake and the pedal would not go down. He kept telling me that my foot was tired and that I was pressing the gas and brake at the same time. At one point, I completely removed my feet from the pedals, and the vehicle continued accelerating. Instead of taking this seriously, he continued blaming me and raising his voice. What made the experience even worse was what happened afterward. He made me review him on Google before I left and told me to write that I had a good lesson, even though I did not feel that I had a good lesson or a safe experience. I felt pressured to give a positive review that wasn't honest.

Traffic school on their Mobile App…read more I had to take traffic school for a speeding ticket this year. I called to get more information by phone. I originally wanted to do an in person class but I was referred to the website to complete it online. I go to the website and it takes me to a mobile app link, says it's easier and more convenient. So I download the mobile app (see picture attached) & I LOVE IT! It was so easy, I finished in 3-4 days. I took my time. Did some of it throughout the day. It's very engaging, to the times, funny, & bearable. I have already recommended this to my friends and family and they also love it. I hope I don't have to do this ever again but if I do, I'll definitely come back to this app to take my traffic school. Crazy how things have changed but, I gotta get with the times.

While the enrollment…read moreprocess was quick and the hands-on training with my instructor Oscar was a strong part of the experience, the program was ultimately undermined by inconsistent communication and lack of administrative support. Oscar was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to student success. Being in a one-on-one setting allowed for focused instruction, and he even continued to assist me after he left the school--something I truly appreciated. However, after the classroom portion ended, the experience became difficult. I completed my classes in mid-January and was told I was ready to begin my externship, but didn't receive placement or meaningful communication until mid-March. I had to follow up repeatedly just to get updates. The clinic I was placed at was also in Los Angeles, which was not convenient given the school's Ontario location. Additionally, I received several forwarding emails that I was meant to be out of, other student email responses from a licensing issues--something that should have been handled more professionally and privately. While I'm thankful for the instruction I received from Oscar, the lack of structure and follow-through on the administrative side left a bitter part to my experience and was slightly misled by some of the faulty 5 star reviews left
