He said he could do the repair but need monies for the parts up front. To the tune of approximately $500. Yikes! But we needed a freezer. A short time later he said he had the ice maker but none of the other parts. He then ceased all communications. We reached out to credit card company and disputed the expense, inasmuch as we had received neither repairs nor communications. GoodFellas had the audacity to challenge that dispute! Bottom line: of they get the work done, well and good but if they ask for monies in advance: beware, their ethics are on a sliding scale.

This was after my husband and I spent a day working on the vacuum cleaner. After speaking with the owner, we decided that it wouldn't be worth the labor and parts to repair it. However, knowing that my husband wouldn't stop trying, I asked the owner a couple of questions. He very kindly told me how to remove the old parts and tricks to put the new parts on. Long story short - we spent another 6 hours working on the vacuum - finally getting it running (not without arguments LOL).
