They came out the next day and had my washing machine up and running in less than an hour. Communication was clear when the tech was running behind, and he had all the parts and everything on hand. The $225 service fee was disclosed up front, and I was happy to pay instead of going to the laundromat. read more

Lea took my call and was able to have Russ come out and repair our Maytag Dryer the very next day - on a Saturday! Couldn't be more grateful for their service and assistance. Highly recommend! We are happy to have a working hot dryer once again. :) read more

if I could leave more stars I would!! Russ was so concerned about getting our washer back in service for us, he went out of his way to get the parts here asap and installed so we were up in running in days. Especially since we had guests coming and going... I couldn't be more thankful!!! Russ you Rock!!!!! read more

Took 4 days to come out and then charged me $225 for the trip. Said he couldn't fix my Kenmore refrigerator because it was to complicated. Called Sears. They came out the next day for $119 to diagnose the problem. Gave me a quote and had it back and working in 90 minutes. Call Sears first, if it can't be fixed you only wasted $119. read more

Great customer care, reliable, on time service. Service call twice now on two different projects; repaired nicely.

Professional, prompt, reliable. My dryer belt broke on Sunday, I contacted them on Monday, and they were able to come by on Tuesday AND had the part to fix it. Couldn't ask for better service. Highly recommend. read more

Russ is amazing and a man of true business integrity. He walked me through all the steps of what I could do to test to check my old dryer at no charge and helped me figure out the solution. He was spot on with his assessment and I can't thank him enough. Saved me $500! Thanks Russ! read more

Thank you so much! Excellent service! Very communicative and prompt with arrival time! And this momma of two is so happy to have her dishwasher fixed!! Thank you Lucas read more

I called them because someone left a sticker on our appliance with their number. Come to find that their service fee is $199. Wow that is outrageous. Call a few other appliance companies and see what I'm talking about. I'm looking to get all of these Coulton Appliance stickers removed which feel like they were applied with super glue. read more

This is the first time I have felt compelled to leave a review for an appliance repair company. When subpar customer service has become the expectation, it is vital to report when a firm stands out. Coulton's Appliance answered their phone with a live person, arrived when promised, and completed the job professionally and accurately. Lucas, one of the Coultons, knows his stuff and I appreciate his expertise followed by explanations. I highly commend this business and without reservation recommend it for any appliance needs. read more

Our microwave stopped working and I called Coulton's for assistance. Lucas came out the same day and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was friendly, polite, got the job done fast, and the price was fair. Based upon this service call I would highly recommend Coulton's Appliance Services. read more

Coulton's Came out to fix our stove, and we ended up with "Coulton's Appliance" stickers all over our kitchen. I found one in the oven, in our nice new fridge, on the microwave, on the garbage disposal, on the dishwasher and who knows what else the technician opened up in our house to apply stickers to. We were never asked if it was okay and would not of approved if we were asked. read more

I called Coulton's to convert a Maytag clothes dryer from propane to NG. The technician came without a mask and seemed miffed when politely asked to wear a mask and observe basic Covid19 protocols. He re-entered wearing the mask below his chin. After the conversion, he asked if we would like the washer/dryer set connected to the water supply and the doors of both machines reversed to match the new setup. We asked that he please do that work. We paid the $225 bill and he left. A short time later I noticed that the hot water hookup was leaking. I shut it off, pulled the machine out and mopped up. A new $0.50 washer would have made the seal leak proof. It was not a burst hose, but leaking at the connection. It was leaking from the time he made the connection. The technician may say he was using our hoses, so he is not at fault, (I've read some of their technicians responses to other poor reviews and they sound like they are aspiring lawyers, which may be why the quality of their repair work is suffering). It is a simple garden hose, hand tightened fitting, not some kind of highly technical fusion of rare and unusual materials. It's literally no harder than connecting a garden hose correctly. If you can't be bothered to check a connection you made for leaks, you should probably consider another line of work. The combination of poor work, a bad attitude and a disregard for the most basic Covid19 PPE means I can't recommend Coulton's Appliance Service and I wouldn't use them again, even if only to connect a garden hose. read more

Repeat customers over the years. Coulton's has helped us keep our 25+ year old dryer running just like it's new. It's so great to actually be able to get something repaired instead of having to buy a whole new appliance (especially considering how shoddily made a lot of newer stuff is.) Lucas helped us most recently and he was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Great company. Thank you! read more

Russ came and was able to zero in on the problem with our oven quickly and fixed it on the spot. Just in time for Christmas weekend with guests coming into town!!! Had 2 other people look at it before finding Coulton's and everyone just wanted to replace parts for big money but Russ was able to fix the problem saving us money and time! Our new go to company and technician!! read more

I have needed Coulton's Appliance Service to come out twice recently and I have been impressed with their quick response, professionalism and workmanship. They kept me informed of when the technician would arrive so I did not have to wonder in that 4 hour window. Each time the technician came out he was very thorough, courteous and capable. The last one was my dryer which was not heating and he was able to fix the heating element along with a few other items he found that could likely break down in the near future. I felt like my dryer got an unexpected tune up and it is running great now. I highly recommend them in this world where it is difficult to find someone reliable and professional. read more

I was very impressed by the service that I got from Colton's appliance service. They got me a service appointment very quickly compared to other appliance service companies. I was at work while the technician came in and they did a good job of communicating with me the day of service. My technician was very astute and knew what he was talking about And quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with my Maytag dryer. Thank you so much for a great service and a low cost compared to what I thought I was gonna have to pay. read more

Lucas is polite & technically efficient. Poor service on the scheduling and follow thru at the office. I am very disappointed with customer care. read more

I never write reviews, but I have to say Coulton's was great! We called them on Monday in a panic to get our dryer repaired. They were able to come out two days later, and adjust to our schedule. The technician was was quick, clean and very courteous. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing appliance repair. read more

Called today and needed my dryer fixed, they didn't have an opening until next week, but said they'd try to squeeze me in if they could. 2 hours later, they were able to squeeze me in, and the technician quickly diagnosed the problem, but found a couple other minor things along the way...which he fixed, and now my dryer works like a champ! The price was actually better than I expected, the service outstanding. I'd definitely use them again, and I'll be encouraging others to use them too read more

We left a message after hours and got a call back promptly the next morning. Russ was awesome and able to help us troubleshoot our problem over the phone & my husband was able to repair. Next time we have any appliance issues we will be sure to use Coulton's Appliances! Thank you! read more

Lucas Coulton is knowledgeable and responsive. His prices are reasonable and he's personable. He can do anything involving appliances, including jobs typically considered best suited for plumbers, such as replacing dishwashers, at very competitive rates. I called Coultons because my bottom oven was not working. Russ came, it took him 2 hours to find the reset button on the bottom oven. When finally located, he charged me $184. After he left the top oven would not work. He came back after 2 phone calls and in less than a minute he discovered an oven timer knob was turned in the wrong direction. After turning the knob upright, the oven heated up. He charged me $44.50 for one minute work. When I asked him for his card, he put a metal sticker with "Coulton" written on it and placed it on the inside of top oven. The metal sticker cannot be removed. Guess he has to make a buck no matter what. read more

Nice, knowledgeable and fixed all of the problems quickly and inexpensively (washer needed new washer knob, timer, and agitator dogs, and dishwasher had a frozen water pump). I'm so thankful and really thrilled with their service! They were also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and gave great advice on keeping the appliances running well. read more

Russ was very knowledgeable, timely, and really engaging. A real pro with great insight in to brand durability and maintenance. I highly recommend Coulton's for all your appliance repairs. read more

Coulton's was amazing on a Friday afternoon my freezer door broke and wouldn't shut I called the business where we purchased (of course 13 months ago so not on warranty anymore) and they said it would be 7-10 days before they can come out. I asked them if they could at least come and get the door closed to save all our food and they said no. I then called Coulton's and they were at the house in an hour, got door closed, ordered parts and then returned and repaired within 2 days. THANK YOU Coulton's. read more

Russ was able to fix our washing machine in about an hour. He had the parts he needed and showed expertise in getting right to the problem and getting it fixed. He did show up later that originally scheduled but got the job done. read more

My home warranty called this company to repair my dishwasher that is not cleaning dishes. The technician came out but could not find the problem causing our dishwasher to not clean dishes. It was bad enough they could not repair it, but then the told the insurance it was fixed?? Not sure what is going on between this company and the home warranty company? read more

Seriously ~ these guys are TOP NOTCH!! Look no further ...... I had someone else who came out for my double oven, and ordered a part, then ordered another ...... meanwhile I was not happy with that service so I called Coultons. It was like MAGIC!!! They actually LOOKED at all the fans in my oven ...... to discover one was STUCK ..... no NEW part was needed!! I needlessly went a whole month without my oven ...... but so so thankful now!!!! read more

Excellent work and effort by both technician and support staff to be sure everything possible is done right. I have a 2 year old Whirlpool refrigerator now needing major repair. Coulton 's contacted corporate to try to find a way for the company rather than me to need to pay. They made several phone calls to Whirlpool to get them to make things right. I know I can trust Coulton' s, not sure yet about Whirlpool. Will DEFINITELY call them again with any appliance repair needs. read more

Very impressed with Coulton's appliance service. They showed up when they were supposed to and were also able to come out to my residence on the same day that I called in my repair. He went above and beyond to make sure that everything I requested was taken care of for a reasonable price and didn't try to "up-sale" me on repairs beyond what was needed. I would highly recommend their services and will definitely be calling them again for any necessary repairs. read more

Total Rip off. We called Coulton's because our dryer wasn't dispersing heat. First, they charged us $95 just to come out and do a service call. The technician determined the heating element (coil) needed replacing. He gave us a $225 estimate ON TOP of the $95 service fee. My husband stopped the service right then and there - so he only left with a check for the $95. We looked up the cost of the part, and it retailed for $4.95 on Amazon! Thank goodness we can fix the issue on our own. We thought we were saving ourselves time by calling this place. My advice - watch out for Coulton's they will rip you off. read more

Lucas was awesome. He was able to diagnose and repair my oven in short order. It wasn't firing on at all and needed a new part which he had on his service truck. I happened to mentioned my oven never calibrated correctly so Lucas took the time to check the calibration and determine how off the temp reading was and adjusted it accordingly. After 7+ years I finally have an oven that is spot on. ( I had a previous repair several years ago by a different company to adjust the calibration and they were never able to get the adjustment to work.) So, thank you Lucas for taking the time and effort to figure it out and get it right!!! Lucas is a professional and very knowledgable. I would recommend Coulton's Appliance Repair without hesitation. Arrived on time and called before coming just as they said they would. read more

Great to work with! Technician (didn't get a name) was on time, fixed my dryer and took off my oven door. He took it apart so I could wash both sides if the window that has been driving me crazy for ages. Reassembled the door and was on his way. Prices seemed reasonable, work was well done...happy customer! And yes, I will call them again. read more

Maybe our repairman, Russ, was having a bad day.... he was not friendly at all, he was in a rush, complaining the whole time about the workmanship of our daughter's house which had nothing to do with the washing machine problem and came off rude. We knew we would pay at least $125 but an additional $100 to replace two hoses seemed a bit much especially with his unprofessional attitude. read more

Coulton's offers superb service! Lucas diagnosed a problem with my microwave oven after a repair person from a different service told me there was nothing wrong with it. I loved the way he BELIEVED me when I told him that, sporadically, it wasn't heating. Lucas is very personable, tells you what he is doing, and really knows his stuff. read more

Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling due to ice buildup behind the panels. Good analysis by Lucas the tech who came out for the initial service call on time. $125 because it was a Samsung. Ordered the parts needed and returned the next day as scheduled by the good dispatcher. Got the refrigerator up and running just fine. It's a 7 year old appliance that's never had any problems, but after this long a time I sort of expected something and certainly don't want to cough up $2K for a new one. $300 total. Can't complain at all. Good service. Professional tech. No hesitation to call them again if I need to. read more
