Our 4-year old Maytag refrigerator stopped working. Dylan tried first tried to fix by replacing the device that turns compressor on/off (which is most common problem) and luckily the company had that device in stock. Unfortunately that didn't solve the problem so we needed a new compressor (which Maytag guarantees for 10 years) but getting the new compressor could take days or even weeks. We were surprised and very pleased that the company provides "loaner refrigerators" in such cases - who knew such a service even existed! What luck that my washer started leaking around the same time that the heating element in my dryer failed. I hate going to laundromats. My neighbors on the Nextdoor website recommended MB Appliance. I believe it was Annette who I spoke with over the phone. She was very courteous and informative. She set up the next available appointment with Mike. He came out and assessed the situation. It was a little challenging to find the source of the water leak, but he didn't give up. He explained what he was doing, why, and was very professional. I checked in with Annette a few times as one of the parts was on back order. She kept me informed. Mike was on time for the next appointment and was efficient. He did an excellent job! Quite possibly one if the worst appliance stores out there. They delivered the wrong dryer (was supposed to be a gas one and even said so on invoice) and it wasn't discovered until it was pulled out of storage because some remodeling was going on. I tried to return it and they blabbed some stuff about it being out of warranty and they literally ghosted me. Will never ever buy anything from them again and will be filing a report to the BBB. read more

I purchased a dishwasher from MB Appliance. It was 2&1/2 years old. it stopped working at that point. I called and it took several weeks for the repair man to even arrive. He was very professional and said that I needed a new circuit board. The cost was $280. He returned approximately 10 days later and replaced it. the dishwasher worked for 5 days and stopped. A while later the repair man returned with another circuit board. the dishwasher worked for a week, then stopped. He came back, called GE and they said I needed yet another part. Then they informed me that the part I needed was no longer available. I called MB Appliance and they said there was nothing they could do to help me! I will NEVER buy from them again. I am out $280 and have no dishwasher. I do want to say that none of this was the repair man's fault and he did everything he could to help me. MB Appliance should reimburse me the money for the circuit board. read more

Amazing team! Over past 8 weeks my washer made a noise during the spin cycle not dissimilar to a jet plane taking off! I called them and within a day, they came to the house and tried to replace the bottom ball-baring assembly. The machine had to be transported back to the service department because they needed the tools to overcome some rusted bearings. It was returned in 2 days. Over the next 4 days I noticed mild water collection under the front of the machine. I called again and they came out and replaced a plastic device that was not what they had ordered from their supplier. Once it came in they came back to replace the correct device (for no added charge) and since then, everything has been working perfectly. During this time, they called or texted what was being done, so that I was not left wondering. The young man Rudy, a technician was very pleasant and intelligent. She blew me off saying it was not her problem after 30 days and gave me a number for GE Warranty. Since then I have had Appliance Repair Specialists out to my house 10 times...five times to diagnose and five times to bring the replacement part for installation. It is still malfunctioning and I have another repair scheduled. I went in to talk to Annette to inform her of my experience with the product she is selling. "What do you want me to do about it?" They don't even deserve one star. They're Quality of workmanship is horrible. Their price just to secure a dishwasher is astronomical, $175 for labor and another $23 for clips. Then the dishwasher doesn't work and the service guy knew NOTHING about troubleshooting a dishwasher. It could be as simple as the back or front legs need to go up or down, but he said he knew nothing about dishwasher, he only installs them, whether they work or not. He was rude and unhelpful. And when I called the office, they told me I needed to call someone else to repair it, they were too busy. So now I'm out $200 and no dishwasher. Just called Morro Bay this morning for my freezer. By 5:30 tonight Roger had it fixed!!! I could not believe that I got a same day apointment! Incrediable service. The unit, an over the counter microwave, had a one year warranty and in a year and a half it went bonkers. Useless. Generally, in a situation like that, you lose. It's out of warranty, right?
