This is the #1 shop in the entire metro Denver area. If you need exhaust work done and you live in Boulder, its worth the drive, that's how good they are. Scott and Tammy are the nicest folks and Patrick did an excellent job on my 75 Fiat. I can say enough about how happy I am with the sound of the system. Pete read more

Scott and Tammy are professional, courteous. Explained the work and suggested what should be the next step to take. I would truly recommend this shop. read more

I went to AA Performance M&B last week on the recommendation of my friend, and I'm so glad he said this place! Scott(the owner) let me drop my truck off the night before & he put it inside. I wanted to replace my true dual exhaust with the same thing, except new! They didn't disappoint me & the truck sounds just like before, if not a little better. Tammy(Scott's wife & the other owner) wait 30 minutes past closing time for me to pick up the truck. Scott & Tammy treated me as if I was a customer for life, and now I will be thanks to them! The price & quality of work are TOP NOTCH! Check them, out if you're looking for Mufflers or Brakes, you will not be disappointed! read more

Oh my god. The saga that I've been on in the last 2 months. Long story short, AAPM is my go to shop for anything I ever need. My saviors. I was nearly in tears driving home in my Range Rover. The Jaguar built 5.0V8 finally sounds like it should after another shop absolutely ruined it. Not only did Scott get it done within hours, but my goodness the quality was impeccable. My father used to weld Limo frames together and when I sent him a photo he was extremely impressed. Even as an amateur myself, it was obvious how much experience Scott had. Aside from the superb welds, the hangers that Scott built into the setup are so solid that it's a mystery to me that Land Rover doesn't have them in this area from the factory. Here's the most important part to me. Tammy is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. The moment she answered the phone I knew I finally found my place. Scott was one of the friendliest and motivated people I've ever met. Seriously, he should consider motivational speaking. It was SO refreshing to meet a car guy who genuinely cares and is excited to make the customer happy. I had said it was okay to add an X-pipe if he felt it was necessary, and his honesty was not only correct (it sounds AMAZING) but it saved me money. How many times have you been talked out of spending money? And speaking of money.. the price was so incredibly fair, I was left speechless. I can't wait to give more of it to these wonderful people. Thank you AAPM, my baby no longer sounds like a honda civic with an autozone muffler. read more

Short and simple. Don't think you can go wrong here. Scottie has been helpful and a problem solver in the two instances I needed for exhaust system repairs. Prompt attention, quality work, and very reasonable prices. Thanks Scottie, nice to do business with an owner / operator. read more

Great mom and pop! A previous shop left a less than professional job. These guys came up with a recommendation and fixed the issue the same day. I really appreciated the effort - especially since I'm traveling. As far as the fix - couldn't be more pleased. 2014 RAM 5.7 with a few mods needed a better breathing muffler. They chose a magnaflow which gives just the right note with very tolerable cabin sound. I would highly recommend AA! read more

My 1997 Subaru is purring once again after AA Performance did what the mechanics in several other garages were unable to do to solve the mystery of the horrendous noise emanating from the exhaust system. The people at AA Performance are the greatest! read more

These guys are terrific. I needed some modifications done to my exhaust before leaving on a trip to Moab. I was able to get it in on the same day I called and 45 minutes later they had it completed. They did a great job at placing the exhaust high up so it would not crush when 4wheeling. Highly recommend these guys. read more

Bought a used vehicle that had a custom exhaust you could hear a mile away. It was so loud that I intentionally kept the throttle below 50% as much as possible. Ended up buying a replacement muffler and called this shop to make an appointment. The owners Scott and Tammy are so incredibly friendly and care much about their craft. The technician had my vehicle in and out in less than a half hour and did a spectacular job! The new muffler sounds amazing and is not too loud but still sounds like a performance exhaust. Welds looked very nice as well. Highly recommend this shop without even thinking twice! Sad that skilled muffler shops are getting harder to find but this one is a gem! read more

Scott and Tammy are fantastic!! I brought in a 'fun car' as Tammy called it--my 68 Camaro BBC pro street. It was a pretty complex job to redo the entire exhaust in 3" from the headers back, and Scott exceeded my expectations! Perfect bends, perfect welds, sounds unreal...no more leaks (needed with a Holley Sniper). He even painted the pipes from the axle back so they blend in more! Above and beyond! Scott was recommended to me by a buddy who also has a few classics, and I'm so glad I took it in! Excellent work! Great people! Thanks again! read more

Exemplary service, skill and fair price! In a world where I have been taken advance all too often, how grateful and thankful I am for finding a local, family owned/operated shop that treated me with such kindness and upfront, simple honesty and courtesy. Fantastic workmanship on my muffler, showing me the work that was needed and then presented the complete price, before work started! Thank you, Tammy & Scott! Highly recommend for any exhaust work! My 17+ year old Silverado was in dire need of new custom exhaust system as it was rusted out and leaking near the air intake for the cab so anytime I was stopped without recirculation on, the cab would fill with exhaust smell. They were able to get me taken care of the same day for a fair price and the quality ended up being top notch. The welds and pipe bends look great! They ran the exhaust tips out the back exactly the way I wanted. read more

Great Service and Value from Scott and Tammy at AA Performance Muffler! When our 2005 Subaru Outback had a exhaust leak at the flex joint - Scott and team fixed us up same day and avoided a 600.00 "replacement" for components and labor. About a year ago, someone stole my catalytic converter and I don't make that much money so it was a pretty big deal for me. my regular mechanic suggested this business and I am so glad that they did. Scott and Tammy were absolutely wonderful. Tammy asked me when I needed my car for work and I told the truth that I would need it within a few days. Because I had an older model car, they were able to get a new part pretty quick. Unfortunately, my insurance was taking a really long time to get back to them. Tammy did me a huge favor and allowed me to take my car while they waited for the insurance money. Their kindness and great work saved me a ton of stress and really helped me make it through the month financially. I don't know what I would have done without them. now I recommend them to everyone and hope that I can pay back even a fraction of the kindness that they showed me. read more

I was honestly blown away... from the first phone call all the way until the time I left, I cannot say enough about how fantastic my experience was. They went above and beyond is every aspect. I got an exhaust built for my truck and I mentioned that I do a lot of off-roading so it'd be nice to get the tip shortened so it's not hanging in the way. Not only did they make sure the end was up and out of the way, but also tucked the entire muffler up above the frame rails completely out of the way. When I called, they got me in the next day and built a completely custom Catback. I was in and out in literally 1 hour. Fast, friendly and absolutely affordable. I will definitely be back for whatever I may need in the future. read more

Love these guys! Definitely treat their customers like family, answer any questions, and are priced very fairly. I had a welding job done, on my weird after market muffler, and I'm definitely coming here when it's time for breaks. read more

My 1st time in to this performance muffler shop was perfect. Scott and Tammy run a very efficient and professional business. Scott's many years of performance car building and repairs really shows in his teams workmanship. He knew exactly what my 69MG needed. While underneath he found several issues from the previous exhaust work including pipe routed wrong, wrong hangers, broken hangers and incorrect muffler. He corrected everything even welded new hangers in the original locations He installed new pipe, new muffler stainless steel tip and it looks and sounds great!! Highly recommended, and they support the military. read more

Scott and his "very cool" wife Tammy are friendly, meticulous, professional, knowledgeable, and they definitely deserve your business. We need more businesses with their attitude. I have brought many vehicles to them, for performance upgrades to my vehicles. I have always had exceptional service, and feel more like I am visiting a family member, than a vendor. They just replaced the muffler, and placed a double-wall exhaust tip on my new 2018 Yukon "Ultimate" Denali. Believe me, I would not trust just anyone with my new 90K SUV, but Scott, Tammy, and staff are the best, so I had no reservations. Now my beautiful Denali sounds as unbelievable as it looks, and even picked up some more torque and horsepower. Thank you Scott and Tammy! If you need work done on your vehicle, you are making a mistake, if you do not take it to AA Performance Muffler & Brakes. read more

My brakes were starting to Squeak and knew it was almost time to replace them. Then suddenly they started grinding bad. I knew I had to get my vehicle in immediately. I called AA performance to get a general idea of costs and timing. Scott was very informative. Not only was he clear about costs, he was able to walk me through a few different scenarios depending on condition of my brakes. He was able to get me in that day, and a few hours later brand new brakes. My car is lovely again. The entire staff was friendly, honest, and professional. They made me feel like family and now I know where I'll take my vehicles in the future. read more

They are just above incredible nice honest people! That makes a great company!! Scott is very very good at what he does, a very professional and a very outgoing person, thanks for taking care of us and our car and making us feel like we were just as important as the next person regardless of work being done! I highly recommend AA Performance muffler/ and brakes on Broadway! I'll never take my vehicles to another shop!!!thanks a bunch Scott!!!! read more

The nicest people, doing a fast, fair, quality job. What more could you ask for? This is the kind of place that makes you sigh in relief cause now you 'have a place'. A place that'll do a good job for you for good price. A place you can trust. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else for exhaust or brake work. We took our old Land Rover Discovery in here to undo some 'work' that someone had done to it, and they basically replaced everything from the manifold back. It sounds just great and passed emissions. Wonderful. read more

Great shop! I put a suspension lift kit on a 92 Dodge Ramcharger, and that caused all sorts of interference issues with the existing exhaust, driveshafts, and new springs. Scott listened to what I needed, and put on a new custom exhaust system using v-band joints where I needed them for easy removal as I continue restoring this truck. He really understood the issues a DIY guy has with a truck like this, and gave me a great looking exhaust system. He got it done in two days, and it came in *under* his initial rough quote. That's a very unusual, and very welcome thing to see nowadays. Great work Scott! read more

Positives: I wanted a resonator removed, Scott, I believe his name was, The co-owner/tech tied the new straight pipes in nicely and even tied them into the old anchors, the bends are nice, the job only took ~30 minutes, he was nice, if it wasn't for his wife I'd recommend them. He was also nice to let me take before and afters so I could show my friends where on the car the resonator was (and for referrals). Negatives: I had a 1:30 appointment, car didn't move until 2:15. The wife of the tech/co-owner (she sounded very nice on the phone) didn't like that I was particular with my car (my $70k car...), they said they work on a lot of cars I said I'd still like to show the tech how to start it as it's not a normal process (push button start, heavy clutch that must be absolutely to the floor, etc). Gave him the key and he actually got it on the second try, he then tried to reverse (he knew where this was so that's good (VW/Audi's are different in this regard)) with the parking brake on, I had to point out and show him how to use the electromagnetic parking brake. She later asked me how I heard about the place and I said Google Reviews, she said "oh that makes sense, most people come here from word of mouth and aren't so particular about their cars". Overall: Great craftsmanship, poor customer service, really wanted to support a local family owned shop but I guess I'm "too particular" read more

Brought my Dodge Ram in to get a quote on a new exhaust system and Scott the owner told me right away what I needed. The price was extremely fair and he said he just happened to have a cancelation and that it could be all done in an hour. I said hell yes and got it all taken care of faster than that! Truck now sounds fantastic and performs better than ever. I would strongly recommend A&A to anyone needing exhaust or muffler work. Good job guys, takes alot to impress me these days! read more
