My husband hired AA moving to move us late June 2019. Steven was supposed to come over and give us an estimate. He never showed up. He gave us an estimate over the phone of $2,400. We moved from L.Q. To Arizona. 6 men showed up on time to move us & they were all nice. My husband called Steven to see how we pay, Steven said pay half now & half when they are finished. Now he was saying it is $2,700 & apparently had no memory of the phone quote of $2,400. (Always get it in writing). We started out with 6 movers but only 2 movers on the drop off end. My husband had to help unload the truck. Ok now why I am really posting this review. My refrigerator was ruined, it looks like they dropped it. I had to buy a new one, I replaced it with the exact same fridge for $2,200. My dryer originally had a small dent In the corner, it arrived with the whole top buckled up, my $100 trash can was scratched & dented, the base of my lamp is dented, a corner of a cabinet is crushed, one of my bed post was broken off and there is a gouge out of brand new flooring. We owed AA moving a $1000. balance and did not pay that. But doesn't even come close to the damage that was done to my possession. Obviously I do not recommend this company. read more

Wow, when Ace's Moving Pros didn't show up or call after a scheduled 8am February 23, 2017 local move, I called two other moving companies who said they were booked. Then thank goodness, I called AA Moving Experts and spoke to Tony who said he would do a quick check and call me back. Within 5 minutes, Tony called and said they could move us. At 10am, the truck arrived with two star movers Doc and Michael. Tony's trucks were already out, so he rented a truck to make sure our move was done - at the same price as regular. Only a smaller truck was available, so they ended up making 2 trips (9 miles away) but Doc and Michael did a fantastic job, they shrink-wrapped furniture, used lots of pads, stacked boxes carefully - not a scratch or a break on anything. They carefully placed furniture on our newly installed floors and we could not have found better movers anywhere. They were all about getting the move done, polite, professional and kind. Tony came over to the old house and also came to the new house to make sure all was good. An emergency move has extra high stress, but AA Moving Experts took that stress away. I had no idea moving out of a house was so expensive. So when Tony first quoted me a figure I thought his company was extravagantly expensive. As it turns out they may not be the cheapest guys in town, but they are competitive. The reason I'm recommending them is over a period of a week I got to know his staff and was impressed by a level of integrity rarely seen in corporate America. Supporting local small business is a good thing and the reward is in the personal touch that only a smalller company can offer. Equally impressive is these guys were trustworthy, which was a huge concern of mine. And no laziness here, their hourly rate seemed high, but considering not once that week did any of the guys sit down for a break. Clearly they were there to get a job done. we had a Very last minute move that the two of us ladies (82 & 65) could NOT manage by ourselves. i found this company on craigslist and was astonished they could accommodate us the very next day!! Very helpful Very Careful & very accommodating to our needs and not only did they get everything put on truck perfectly - they moved cabinets at our end location in order to move things in.. we could NOT have done this all ourselves. on top of which they assembled two beds for us as well. I contacted AA Moving online through Yelp one afternoon for a move the next day. I left phone number and email address. I was planning to do the move myself with a friend. At the last minute, I wanted to see if I could find a moving company to help. I had already moved the smaller items I could take & wanted help with the bigger furniture like beds, dressers, tables. Tony called me almost immediately. I was impressed by how quick he was. He said, "sure I have an opening tomorrow. Well, I'll MAKE an opening for you before my 10am appointment since you have only big pieces. I'll be there at 7am." Sure enough, I heard the big moving truck outside a few minutes before 7am and he & a co-worker started moving the big items. By 7:45am, we were headed to the new house. By 8:30am, I was moved in and we were shaking shaking hands and I said, "Great job!" Tony said, "Now off to the next job." These guys went above and beyond! They are professional, kind and very efficient. Their service is excellent and they take care of their customers and their belongings. I have used them for the first time and I am extremely satisfied. I worked with two kind, caring and thoughtful team of movers. When I called their office, I received all the answers and I had many questions, trust me. I booked the time frame and was scheduled immediately. Their scheduling is flexible and the entire company is very well-organized. On the moving day the team showed up on time and started working as soon as they arrived. I gotta say, these guys are great. I called looking for a company to move my one-bedroom to Manteca California. Just my luck Steve, the manager informed me that they had a move going my way and if I liked I could get on the truck for a discount. A deal was made. The day of the move Tim called to inform me that they were finishing up the load for the first customer and will be arriving in 30 minutes to load me. When the guys arrived I was so surprised of how fast they worked knowing that they had just finished loading up another customer. Everything went faster than I could imagine .Tim the lead man informed me that they will be arriving at my place by 10 am to unload. Yes, they were here at 10 on time ready to go just like before, the guys worked, hard, fast, and with smiles . AA Movers was highly recommended to me when I was looking for a moving company and I must say I am very impressed with them. The lady I spoke with over the phone from start to finish was amazing she put all my worries to rest she told I would get a confirmation call a day or two ahead of time to make sure that nothing has changed. I received my confirmation call two days ahead of time and the day of the move the workers showed up 15 minutes early. I believe the workers names were Tracy, Tim, and Marvin; these guys worked extremely hard and at a fast past they wrapped all my belongings and handle all my belongings with care I moved out of three bedroom house into a four bedroom house, when we got to the new place I must say they did everything the way I wanted it placed items where I asked. OMG!!! The men were on time, courteous, thorough & competent, not to mention the price was affordable. I was in a living situation that I had to get out of and the timing was crucial and had to be precise in which I only had a small window of time in which to get all of my possessions (entire house of furniture & clothing). These men arrived and immediately got to work, taking care to shrink wrap and blanket furniture and fragile items. They understood my predicament and made sure to have me out quickly. It was the second time they help me move. They show up on time, were prepared and were very presentable. They were careful with all our furniture and got the job done! I received notification the morning of the move confirming that the movers were on their way and they arrived right on time. I've used movers in the past who are paid by the hour and noticed how slowly they tend to work. Tony and Hakim packed and moved our items carefully and worked at a reasonable pace. I chose this mover based on the good reviews, reasonable rates, and the clear and professional responses to several questions I sent. I talked to Steven who walked me through everything that would take place on my moving day and assured me that all my antique furniture would be pad wrapped, shrink-wrapped and taken care of. On the day of the move the movers showed up 10 minutes early so they can do a walk-through to see exactly what I wanted moved. These guys are great! I had originally hired a national moving company to move from the desert to Austin, TX. They gave us a 3 day window for pickup and a 5 day window for delivery. On the 3rd day of the pickup window they called and said they could not make it. I scurried around and found AA Moving on Craig's List. They gave me a quote for next day pickup and delivery to Austin. I was nervous since you never really know what you are going to get on Craig's List, but these guys were the real deal. On time and professional. They packed everything, had more than enough moving blankets, plus there were no hidden charges. Tony and his moving crew were a blessing during such a stressful time. They went above and beyond to help us. Not only was the expense incomparable to other moving companies but the expertise that went into the job was remarkable and actually exciting to watch a happy crew of four hardworking men working together loading the trucks carefully and with ease which would not be the case if done ourselves. I called AA Moving and with two hours' notice. Two very polite guys showed up and never once complained and treated every item I had as if it were their own. They were well-mannered, appreciative, STRONG, and wrapped and packed things very well. It was a very hot day and they worked without rest. I gave them glasses of ice water and they acted like I had shared my life's savings with them. This was just the move to take some items out to "stage" my home; now that it's sold, I will for sure be calling them to schedule my complete move. I've had other movers in the past who took lots of breaks and charged me considerably more to move considerably less. What a blessing it was to find AA Moving! read more
