I had a great experience with AA moving experts! I had been calling around for a couple of days. To get different quotes. The people that were affordable were very rude or seem to off. The ones that actually had customer service, were so overpriced. I finally got in touch with Tony. He was so affable and really great to talk to. He made me feel so at ease with the stress of moving our three bedroom home. He showed up exactly on time. He and his crew were super hard workers, they made sure all of my furniture and belongings were secure and wrapped and covered in blankets. Their prices were affordable and the move itself went without a hitch! He even offered to come back the next week to haul off our junk items to the dump for us. It was such a relief to have another affordable quote, to take care of that. And I found out that he also does move out cleans for those that need to get their deposit back and such. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! I UNFORTUNATELY used AA Moving Experts (Not experts at all!!) on 9/29/19. From the start, Ray and his helper arrived late to my home. They damaged so much of my items, I WAS SHOCKED. I contacted Vanessa right away in the office who was not helpful at all. She asked me to email proof photos of what was damaged as a result of using AA Moving Experts. I sent her a long outline of what was damaged and broke it down for her. I have not received a response or follow up to date!! I also had to repeatedly ask for my invoice and it took talking to one of the "owners" Ray to finally receive it 2 weeks later. 2 weeks!!! Unacceptable. I used another company at my new home & they were so professional, EXPERIENCED, & took extra care of my items. It was night and day. Please beware, do not use this company. They do not take accountability. Vanessa is extremely rude and lacks customer service. Ray did not get back to me regarding my damaged items claim. Spend your money on a real, quality company. This company is a joke UPDATE: 10/27/19: Now that I write a review for the public to see how this company works, someone finally decides to respond. I was not offered "pads" or provided a "professional" recommendation of any additional material as they state in their response. Lying on my review is repulsive. I would like to see a work authorization form or some document that proves the company offered something. At this point they are playing he said, she said and it's wrong. No written documents outlining the work or policies were presented before or after. Big business no no in California. At this point I have disputed the charges. i requested quotes through Yelp and AA replied within 20 minutes. I scheduled a move with AA Movers on February 21 for moving on February 28 at 8:00 a.m. They provided me a text confirmation. On February 27 I text the number and requested confirmation of my appointment. I did not receive a reply. I tried calling the two numbers I had and no answer. The main number rang six times and answer with no recording except for background noise. The cell phone does not provide voicemail. This morning I again attempted contact beginning at 7:00 a.m., the same thing. Needless to say no sign of movers at 8:00 a.m. and no return phone call. I wanted to thank George and Randy sent to help with my move from San Jose California to Cathedral City. It was a smooth process packing and loading my home for the move. I was really happy when I arrived to Cathedral City and began to unpack all my belongings. There were no cracks bumps or breaks to any of my property. The guys were very polite and courteous and moved swiftly together. The men followed the lettering on boxes and put them in the correct rooms. unraveling the shrink wrap was pretty simple,thank you George for sharing how to easily remove it.Randy and George finished my move before schedule. I hired AA Moving Experts to move my stuff from my one bedroom in Palm Springs to Southwest Riverside County. They arrived promptly at the set time. The two movers were polite and professional, really went out of their way to take care of my property. If feel they went beyond what I had ask for (I got quoted for a price for various items, and the moved some additional stuff at no additional cost). When I was calling around to get quotes, they had originally gave me an estimate, which was more then I wanted to spend, so I gave them a range of what I wanted to spend and we were able to agree and a price. I had scheduled them to come the week before I needed them. I was moving out of state and had zero help to load my truck. I had called them at 3:15pm on the day of and the lady said "oh they are not scheduled until 3:30pm" I apologized as I got the times mixed up. 4pm came around and I started calling again and they sent me to voicemail. They stoped answering the phone and NEVER SHOWED UP and NEVER EVEN CALLED! I have 3 babies and I had to spend all night loading up my 26ft U-Haul truck because no other company was available it being so late in the afternoon and last minute. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! We like that they were willing to take responsibility and this means a lot. In addition to the discount given to us the night of the move, Tony extended a generous, additional discount which was hand-delivered just now. We would certainly use this company again. We appreciate their management's level of professionalism. Tony, thank you! 2 1/2 stars 8/7/2017 The original contact was perfect, scheduled according to our time, 4pm. 2-hour minimum, the prorated by time. We have five pieces to move! Decided if we were paying for a minimum, why not use the time. 445 no one calls, then I do though no one answers. A few minutes later, the scheduler called to inform us the delay was being investigated! 30 minutes before the movers arrival, we are informed once again about the delay and an apology was given, and a response they would arrive soon! Soon? What does soon mean? Another call informs us the movers are 11 minutes away finally arriving at 7pm three hours late. Although the guys who were suppose to make our move did not show. And the movers who did was told that it was for five pieces! The quote was not to pick up five pieces the quote was for a minimum of two hours. Given that the had 5 star ratings, I was stunned that were late! Yes the company did extend an apology the next day! As a consumer, caught in between yes, it went from, we are sending you movers to being three hours later! I was provided a discount only after asking. Yes the movers did live up to their 5-star reputation, however, being late and not advising us up front there was a problem in scheduling that would have given us more options. I have used paid professional moving companies for all our moves over the past thirty years. This is the 1st time the movers were late. We were prepared to cancel when advised that there was no one available the following morning! Not thinking clearly we moved in the dark hours. Being licensed, insured and certified I have discovered is not enough. I suppose in all the recommendations we use from Yelp... this was the worst! The management responded in a timely manner, nothing he could say would eliminate the wrong leaving us the client waiting is inexcusable especially when the company and their moving staff are connected via cell phone. Sorry Tony, I am still pissed that I was not provided accurate info to decide what was better for us! I also feel ridiculous that I did not see this coming. I hired AA Movers to move my mother, out of the four companies I called they were the only ones willing to hold my moms furniture for 2 to 3 months. The day of the move I had a very watchful eye, because my mother had a lot of fragiles and antique furnishings. Steven and his team did exactly what was promised to me the day of the estimate. Blanket and plastic wrapping all my mother furniture. When the guys showed up 3 months later in Pleasanton with the furniture I was very pleased. The workers worked hard, most appreciated was the fact they asked me to examine the furniture to make sure everything was to my satisfaction and if I needed them to move anything around before they go. I used AA Movers this morning for a local move in Palm Springs. Tony and his co-worker showed up right on time at 7am and were well prepared for any eventuality. They blanket wrapped and shrink wrapped all my furniture, and were extremely careful in handling all of my belongings. We just had them handle a move from Indio to Pacific Grove, about a 500 mile move with a stop in Pasadena to load up from our storage unit as well. This was a two day move with lots of heavy boxes of books as well as some heavy furniture. They showed up exactly on time 7 am for the first part of the move and things could not have gone better. They were efficient, friendly and hard working. Nary a complaint of loading the truck in 100 degree temperature. Second part of the move was handled by two of the three who came in the morning. Again, very efficient. And today on the second day was the unpacking. One guy handled unloading the truck while the other guy brought them into the house. The poor guy in the house had to carry 20 boxes of very heavy books up the stairs but he never complained and had a smile on his face the whole time! In total, I think he made at least 50 trips up the stairs! I would have been ready for the hospital at that point! I cannot recommend these guys any higher than this. They provided absolutely outstanding service at a very reasonable price. If I ever have another move, I will hire these guys again in a heartbeat. read more

I called AA Moving desperate for any help after the original moving company I had made an appointment with had flaked. After calling several numbers, this was the last number on my list. The man who answered, I assume was the owner was absolutely amazing and offered to make some calls to get some guys together. The people that he was able to get together were from a sister company, R&J Professional Movers.They were at my house after about an hour, and they were remarkable. Super nice, professional, and efficient. My 5 year old son kept talking to them, and they were so polite to him and engaging. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is moving. I am a bit conflicted writing & leaving my review for this business, as I used others reviews in making my decision to hire them in the first place. FIRST - The bad: The only contact person I dealt with was a girl named Leah. Right from the get-go, she did not appear to be very organized. At the end of our 1st phone call, she stated that she would call me to reconfirm our appointment time two days prior to the move. That phone call never came. So, I took it upon myself to call Leah back and go over all the details one more time. Well, as it turned out when I called back...Leah had no idea who I was. It took a full 3-4 minutes of explaining until she was like; "Oh yeah, I remember now." Despite my feelings to abandon ship at this point and find another moving company, I reconfirmed all of my information, dates and times. Leah said she was all set, and that we were good to go. Moving day arrives, and I am expecting the guys to show up at 8am as agreed upon. At 0805, I call Leah... she was sound asleep!! My phone call actually wakes her up! At this point, I am livid, and shouting at her. She tells me that she thought I said noon start time. And I explained that twice, I specified 8am. She acknowledged and apologized. Explained that she would have the guys there within 20 mins. SECOND- The good: 22 mins later, 3 men show up ready to work. Now, the only reason I am giving 2 stars and not 1 star, is because of these 3 wonderful guys. They were pleasant, polite, super helpful and really hard workers! They had my storage containers empty in 2 hours! All my thanks goes to them!! Overall, based on how I was treated throughout, I would not recommend this disorganized company to help you move. I used AA Movers to move my belongings from my house in Menifee to Thermal. I had a crew of three men and a truck. They were on time, and even showed up 15 minutes early. The crew was helpful and polite. They worked very hard from start to finish. Last week I contacted Tony the owner to set up this move. He got back to me right away with a quote. This company may not be the cheapest in price, but they do a great job without milking you for extra time. I recommend AA Movers! read more

Professionally moved my optometric office in a hurry, not slowing down, in 2 trips. Didn't realize how much I had accumulated over 11 year period. The fees were average, from what other movers quoted. I liked the fact that the 3 man crew worked steadfastly and didn't miss a step.
