We were referred to One Hand by a friend who also had their team build an ADU in Sunnyvale and recommended them due to Mike's great communication, success in permitting, and quick general contract work on the property. Working with Mike's team, we designed and permitted our ADU project very quickly, going from first design concept to completion in ~1 year, with most of the foundation, utilities, construction, and finishing taking less than 6 months. We particularly appreciated the team's attention to detail and ability to change direction and modify things when we had an idea or request during the construction process. In the end, the greatest benefit to working with One Hand Construction was that there were not many surprises. Mike was good at communicating lead times for different materials and appliances so we could make sure we had them ready for installation.
