But I had a baby on the way, and knew a stroller would be in the trunk on a regular basis. I thought the leak was due to misalignment in the trunk door, so I brought it in. John, the owner refuses to release the car despite NO work being performed on the car. I and my boyfriend have called John and the shop over 200 times. No response. He has quoted $158,913.00 in STORAGE FEES and filed a false lien for $60,000+. Despite no work being performed. The work verbally quoted was only $4000. He doesn't abide by BAR standards and is a conman. We are now in the process of suing just to get the car back. I would absolutely hate for something like this to happen to another person.
