Be forewarned- not only does the young girl who answers the phone here sound like she's from a very urban environment (you may not understand her slang) but she's not competent AT all when it comes to the services being offered at this shop. This shop is okay if you absolutely need some customization at the last minute or are on a tight deadline and don't really care about the quality of the work done here (b/c it's NOT top notch), or if you bringing your daily driver here (just don't EVERE bring your weekend car or ANY car that costs upwards of $50k-$200k or more!!!!!). For starters- while they have no problem providing you with quotes, they do NOT invoice their work- so when it's all said and done, you will pay and simply get a receipt (absolutely NO itemized listing of what was done). I believe that they do this to HIDE additional charges and the quotes you receive over the phone are often not accurate. They have no SHAME in making sure that you prompted with the TIP option on their little credit card device (last time I made sure to choose NO TOP while smiling at the clueless young receptionist!) So in summary, if you HATE being ripped off or paying an additional $100 to$1000 more (as I once did on my Telsa) then don't bring your car here, as transparency/organization/clear communication is NOT a priority at this shop. Also, we have gotten work done at literally over a hundred shops across the US on our 14 cars (ranging in MSRP from $76K to $278K MSRP) and this is the only shop where the owner tolerates the installers/employees blasting loud music and yelling like animals for extended periods at a time (while he's sitting in the office making calls)- I literally felt like I was in a zoo- NEVER AGAIN! read more

Had my truck wrapped full front, runners and tailgate. They did a great job. They showed me where I can save money and could have scammed me on factory wrapped areas that I wasn't aware of. The job was done in half the time I was told. I've power washed the truck a dozen times, live on a dirt road and the wrap is holding up very well. Good service and honest. read more

This has become my spot for custom work on my car. They do good work on lighting and other custom installs. They have the amenities in the waiting area; WiFi and TV. Their wrap jobs were the worst things that I've ever seen! I couldn't believe that I was seeing! I had them install a new radio in my van. It works properly, & the work was quick. But there were a few problems..... - The driver side airbag was disabled after installation. I remember no warning light until afterwards. The worker says the the light was on before he started. - I returned a tool he left in the van. - The dash is now has a new small crack....not a real problem. - The final tab was $30 higher than the parts + labor price quoted. - Their overhead door was only 10' tall....too small to fit my van indoors. I'll pay my regular mechanic to fix the airbag wiring issue. I'm more interested in having it done right than cheap. read more

I found this shop after hearing lots of positive feedback from their customers. I called the night before and even though they were busy they were able to fit me in the following day. I picked up my Jeep Grand Cherokee after about two hours and they had tinted all four windows perfectly! After my experience with A2 Customs I would gladly recommend them to everyone I know! They do a good job here, but high on the price of window tint. I've had them do 3 of my vehicles over the years and it was always perfect. When I called for a price quote recently I had to leave a message during normal business hours. I waited 4 hours with no return call so I called again. Finally got someone on the phone and they said $400 for all of my windows. That was $100 more than what the place in Brighton quoted me. I'll go to Brighton instead since they did my last vehicle and it was perfect. Just thought I'd give A2 a chance. read more

Got my Accord's windows tinted a few weeks ago. The owner, Eric, was the one to install the tint. He was very friendly and helpful with deciding what type and shade of tint to put on my car. The installation took about 1.5-2 hours. There was a minor issue with some lint getting caught between the tint and window so I brought the car back to the shop and Eric took care of it without any issues. The car looks great and I would definitely recommend A2 customs for any window tint. Haven't had anything done to my car, but from seeing the other cars they were working on, it appeared that they do a good job with sound systems and lighting. read more

VERY INACCURATE AND NON TRUSTWORTHY PLACE and WAY TO DO BUSINESS. I called the last week of July for a Toyota prius rear hatch windshield (1 tinted window). they scheduled me for August 15th (today) and quoted me $100 for standard and $150 for ceramic film. Never send me a confirmation text. (Which I realized today that I needed one) when I called to confirm my appointment, and don't just show up. (Which I should) They asked me if I got a text. Because they got a booked day and couldn't fit me in. After some back and forth telling them that I was not aware that I should get a text. ERIC said that I could bring it over because they could do it very quick. but Also told me that the ceramic is $175. I told him what I was quoted but he said that was final for that kind of film with a lifetime warranty. (I STILL DID NOT GET A COMFIRMATION TEXT) Same day (today) On my side something came up, so I called them back 2 hours before the appointment to reschedule. They struggle finding my appointment (I reply that I never got a text) Finally, I got one for next Wednesday and just as a double check tell them to please send me the confirmation so I don't show up and them we have a misunderstanding. (Never got that TEXT) Also I did double checked price (which I now got a different quote of $150 for the standard and $300!!!!!!! For the ceramic film!?) CRAZY! We went back and forth and nothing changed. Decided not to do it. Minutes later, They call me back, this time they could do the $175 for the ceramic. (BEWARE!) This time they made me aware that the life warranty is through the film manufacturer which probably they will replace but I will probably have to pay for labor. I try to reason with them about the first quote of $150 for ceramic that they changed for no reason and in less than 3 weeks. But I realized that at this point I should NOT trust them my vehicle or my business. VERY DISAPPOINTED , NON TRUSTWORTHY PLACE AND COSTUMER SERVICE. I purchased a groupon for this place. I called first to ask if they would remove the current tint and what the cost would be. They quoted me $100: $15 ea door and $40 for rear window. I confirmed the price for removal when I booked my appointment. However, with my car there, they called to tell me that the tint had been on too long and they wouldn't be able to remove it without charging me over $250 and I should just return my groupon because its not worth their time. WOW - you quoted me twice $100, and then call to say it's not worth your time? After I already spent almost $100 by prepaying on groupon that I can't return, its against groupon's policy. Have had my last car tinted by Eric and his team twice. First time went smoothly but I ended up being unhappy with the lighter tint and wanted to go darker. Eric was able to remove the old tint and install the new one at a reasonable cost. Always very patient and answer my questions carefully. read more

A2 Customs is known for Eric's excellent window tinting, but they do other custom upgrades as well. Patrick does all the electrical work and he's fantastic at that. Over the last year and a half I've had a Remote Starter, CB Radio, Speakers and an Indash Stereo installed by Pat without a single problem. He also did the very difficult job of wiring up and mounting several LED Light Bars on my roof top cargo cage. I've had no issues with these either. Everything Patrick's done to my truck works and looks like it came from the factory. Knowing Eric, watching him work, seeing his finished product and having all my electrical work done by Patrick in such a professional manner, I would highly recommend A2 Customs for all your Auto upgrades. read more

Went to A2 customs in March with a groupon. The service people were helpful the owner Erick made sure the roof wrap that I wanted was also in stock. They done a good job by the looks of it before I left. It was cold during March and I started to notice bubbles and dust. I called them and Erick said no problem being it back in. I did, they supposedly fixed the problem. But now it is worst, bubbling and very noticeable dust and lint. While I understand it is a groupon and they probably feel I got a bargain I would have been glad to pay the extra $100 for a good job..now when I reach out to them they don't answer and have not got back to me. So as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. All I am saying is groupon is suppose to be a deal to bring in new business and I wanted other things done to my car but they use it to sell a inferior product. That should be made known that's why it's only a 30 warranty. read more
