July 2020 I lost nearly everything to a housefire. My insurance company called Rainbow to come to…read morethe home to take what was possibly salvageable. The first problem was that NO dehumidifiers were brought in to save the antiques, heirloom area rugs and 1917 player piano. My head was spinning from the trauma of getting the family out with our lives and clothes on our backs. I called several times pleading 'to do something to save the piano and antiques' that were in a caustic and humid environment. Seven days later ONE dehumidifier was placed near the piano, which clearly at that point was to late to save. When I arrived at the warehouse to inspect my positions I was met with the most hostile and abusive employee who I endured for several hours. Rightfully I should have called the police. I unboxed everything myself, photographed it and knew what was there and the condition it was in. After I was told my inventory was 'cleaned' I returned to inspect them. So many items of value were missing or broken. They took no responsibility and blamed my moving company I have been with for over 20 years. Not even for my wheelchair. (The cushion and legs were there but the chair was nowhere to be found) When my inventory was being packed by my moving company, they stopped and called me to inform me of several points: 1. "When did you buy two blue arm chairs for the living room?" I do not own blue arm chairs or any other item they questioned while packing. No longer am I wondering why my items disappeared. Highly disorganized and frankly dysfunctional. 2. NOTHING was cleaned, however they stated they cleaned it. 3. I paid my movers to wipe down the soot from the fire from everything before brining into the house. I am using restraint at this point not post video of the hostile employee or of everything being deemed 'cleaned' but not with my movers cleaning antiques. Do Not Use This Company! It Is A Scam And They Are Hostile!!!

Was connected to rainbow international from a contractor connection service from my insurance. Came…read moreout to look at water damage, the guy said "since it's in this area of the basement I would just patch it up, not worth using insurance ". He said the mitigation would not be costly but the rebuild would. Meanwhile he took measurements, photos, and assessed the damage. Told me he would write up an estimate and I'd have it by that Friday or Saturday. Sunday came around, I emailed asking and was told "the damage is not enough to be worth going through insurance ". So I replied back asking for the estimate just to see it and send to my insurance and I was never responded to after that. I called my insurance company and they called them and they told them they would be sending an estimate by last Wednesday. Still nothing. So I called my insurance again who called rainbow, again, and they were told an estimate was never even done. So I sat for 20 days waiting to hear back with my basement (finished basement) in shambles. I will never refer them to anyone. Unreliable, unresponsive. No communication.

They cleared everything out, removed sheetrock and disinfected the entire area. They left air blowers for 3 days. On the 2nd day gentleman named Chris came to disinfect/spray again and rearranged the blowers. He was very nice and looked over the area thoroughly. He showed sympathy for our situation and was very sociable. In a time of crisis like this, when water needs to be removed immediately, I was so pleased with this company.
