We double checked with each as we narrowed it down and it was kind of a no-brainer to choose Carpets Direct. Chris the owner, and DeAngelo the rep answered all our questions in advance...such as moving items out and putting them back in (they do it themselves if we do not choose to), and how many days it would take (they said two and others said four). The pricing was comparable so we went with them. Wilmer and his crew showed up on time and busted their butts and got the job done in ONE DAY! Everything looks great and we could not be more pleased with the company and their people and their work!

His son installed our floors and there were issues ever since moving in two years ago. The floor started separating and gaps were forming. After multiple no-shows and excuses, Chris finally came out and glued the problem areas together - mind you, it's a floating floor. Chris blamed the material. After having a 3rd party inspect the flooring, they determined a bad install caused the problem. We had to pay for all new flooring that covers 70% of our home, which was not a small expense. Chris agreed to help our contractor tear out & re-install, but Chris, once again, DID NOT SHOW UP. He's also not answering his phone. My contractor is now laying this flooring by himself because Chris has fallen off the planet. Be careful dealing with Classic Wood Floors and whatever other businesses Christopher Langer owns.

These were months apart and in different parts of our foundation. Both jobs were done in an excellent manner, on time, close to the Estimate price and we've had no problems or issues with the basement since. By chance, we had to be out of town when both jobs were being completed which was scary. No worries here; He did the job as if it was his house. He texted pictures of the progress and forwarded questions on how to proceed if we might have a preference or if there was a price change based on what he found. He's an honest contractor you can trust to do the job the right way, the first time.
