My daughter-in-law also called Panther in advance to confirm the booking. No car ever showed up and, when she called Panther after waiting 15 minutes past the scheduled pickup to get an estimated ETA, all they could say was "one of our drivers will pick up the trip." Thankfully the hotel was able to suggest another company to call. That company was able to get a car to the hotel quickly enough to make the train, but we will never rely on Panther again.

Wayne is amazing I…read morehave used his services to collect me from the airport, back in June when I was leaving Stansted. He knew the new car parking system which I was not aware of, so before my arrival in the UK he gave me the instructions where to find him, how long it would take until I would make it down to this car park that I'd never even previously knew existed - geography is not my strong point! Wayne ensure me that he would be there on time, even though my flight arrived early and I was straight out with my baggage Wayne was already there! He always checks the iPhone app whilst travelling to keep an eye on the flight times, landing etc this to me was just incredible. I texted him to tell him I'd landed and he already knew! The car was beautiful, comfy and spacious to travel in. Complimentary bottle of water a newspaper and mints were also available. Wayne is such a nice guy to talk to and spend time with, so the poor newspaper never got a look in :) Nobody else compares when it comes to travelling.

Camcabs were booked at 22:06 to pick up my daughter at 23:59. At 00:04 I called to ask where the…read morecab was and was as my daughter was anxiously waiting alone on Whittlesford station told it was 11 min, then 2 mins away - the cab eventually arrived at just before 00:15. I contacted the company discussed the events, agreed an apology and a full refund of the £29.40 charge on my credit card (more than the £28 quoted). The refund never materialised and eventually I was told the CEO has decided there would be no refund as they picked my daughter up!! I talked to the CEO who stated a refund had never been agreed as he had listened to the recorded conversation, which I was unaware of - I asked for a copy - it was for internal use only, so no. His justification for refusing a refund was simple, my daughter had been picked up and he can't be responsible any for delays! I will leave it to the readers to judge where the CEO's priorities are.....and how Camcabs value their customers and safety.

This is the worse taxi company in Cambridge whatever you do, do NOT use them they are unreliable,…read morerude, expensive and arrogant, they picked up my 95 year old mother in law very late and then took her to the wrong wedding venue in the middle of no where then had the cheek to charge her, the journey should have only take a maximum of 25 minutes but the taxi driver drove my poor old mother in law around for over an hour, when we did manage to find her she was distraught and had missed her grandsons wedding, did Cam Cabs apologise? you must be joking they are saying they didn't pick her up and have no record of the booking even though we have witnesses and we can prove that it was Cam Cabs, the taxi driver even boasted and laughed about the fact he had dropped an old lady at the wrong wedding venue to other passengers! they disgust me so whatever you do please do NOT give them your custom they do not deserve it
