I heard about Ms. Andrea Dunning's massage therapy services inside Exclusive Physical Therapy at 416 S. Creyts Road in Lansing, Michigan. The office park is located between St. Joseph Highway and Michigan Avenue. I chose a 30 minute massage for $30. There are other options. Andrea was prompt, courteous, professional, and friendly. She made me feel comfortable. We talked and she listened, and answered my questions before she began. She was concerned for my level of comfort throughout, and I was happy to make an appointment for a second massage in two weeks. My rating: Excellent.

Every stroke and technique felt purposeful, melting away tension and leaving me in a state of complete relaxation. The pressure was perfect--firm enough to work out knots but never uncomfortable. If you're looking for a truly therapeutic and relaxing experience, I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be coming back!

Amy's current location on Washington is perfect. Its warm, cozy and peaceful. She has great smelling essential oils diffusing and tranquil music playing in the background. Once the massage starts she only talks when necessary (to check if pressure is okay or to have you roll over). I love the quiet that so I can just concentrate on relaxing. Amy has a great, loving spirit about her. You can tell that she truly cares about helping you feel your best. I have referred a lot of people to her and they all say such wonderful things! I have suffered from chronic pain due to physiological and emotional difficulties for more years…read morethan I should for someone my age. I had tried everything--Eastern, Western medicine, diet, sleep--but nothing gave me as immediate and lasting help as much as massage. Massage regularly was really out of my budget at the time, but when I factored into all the other approaches I used to address my pain, the cost for massage therapy was just a drop in the bucket, especially with Rebecca's (incredibly) reasonable rates. When I started getting massage regularly with Rebecca, I had entered one of the most stressful parts of my life--but seeing Rebecca regularly made my life not just bearable, but enjoyable. I really appreciated how considerate she always was to everything that was going on in my life. I now have moved away from the area, and have frustratingly not been able to find anyone as genuinely caring and down right good at what they do, as much as Rebecca. Rebecca actually is probably one of the top things I miss most about moving away from Michigan. She helped me so much!! If you're not sure if massage therapy is right for you, try it with Rebecca--she is hands down one of the best people and massage therapists that I've met!

In MI, I'd tried finding an effective massage therapist for several years, to no avail. One appointment with Rebecca gave me a significant increase in my range of motion and reduced the pain, and monthly appointments allowed me to more efficiently exercise and do PT. Her memory for you and your individualized physical concerns is uncanny, and she blends massage styles seamlessly. Beyond being incredibly gifted at her profession, she is *NOT PUSHY* with add-ons (unlike other salons), both warm and professional in her communications, willing to bend over backwards for her clients, and generous with her knowledge. She never lets you think you're asking a silly or dumb question. Oh, and her prices are beyond reasonable. Word to the wise - schedule your appointments well in advance (like her regulars do). I believe the majority of her business is simply through word of mouth... yes, she is *that good* that she is booked weeks to months in advance.

However, Dr. Dickenson was so professional and pleasant it calmed my nerves. He did a wonderful job of listening to my concerns and explaining everything we were doing step-by-step. We did some stretching, heat massage, and range of motion exercises (for those who are new-comers to this chiropractic game, it's not nearly as scary as you'd think.) By Wednesday afternoon I was feeling almost completely better. He even called me the day after my treatment to check on my progress with my pain. It is now Thursday and I am feeling 100% better! I would recommend Dr. Dickenson to any of my family or friends looking for a chiropractor in the Saint Johns/Lansing area.
