We wanted to refresh our backyard - add a grill with pergola, pavers for an eventual hot tub, paver…read morewalkway and pad, as well as a fireplace. In addition we had a new sprinkler system installed and added trees and plants. JNK/ Naji specifically was phenomenal in communication - extremely rare in this line of work. Naji was always very responsive and with a positive attitude. His staff showed up on time, respectful and took pride in their work. We are VERY happy with the results. We now have the outdoor living room and space we wanted. They were not the cheapest but we were willing to pay a little extra to ensure the schedule was adhered to and the quality and warranty. Not chasing someone down for the next step is the project and having this substantially completed in under 2 weeks is amazing. Definitely recommend JNK.

JNK just completed a total backyard re-landscape for us. Bottom line, would use again…read more Found them on Yelp - had great reviews, which I read very thoroughly and compared to other companies. I am sure there are other great landscaping businesses out there, but the reviews were key for me - I had nothing else to go by, since we haven't used any landscaping services. Reviews were accurate. Service-communication: very good. My main contact was James. Took a lot of time with us. We were going from scratch, so it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted. Plus, had to get HOA approval for a pergola - never fun, but finally got through that. Second contact was Ali toward the end with the irrigation and plants. Easy to deal with. Once the contract was signed, they indicated 2-3 weeks to begin, and that was accurate. Supply delivery began about five days prior to commencing work. The initial crew wasted no time getting to work. They kept the premises clean. Everyone professional. Quality: All I can say, is so far so good! Nice paver work, Pergola looks great. Electrical all appears properly done. Turf looks great. We are very happy with the results. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Delays: none of any consequence. Toward the end, had to wait for the pergola parts to arrive. About three weeks to complete entire job.

This is an update. I still couldn't be happier. 7 years later and the concrete they laid for me…read morestill looks great. Everytime I walk on it I think boy Larry you made the right choice here. So yeah, 7 years and counting and still looks great.

I had Lumby Concrete put in about 880sf of concrete in my back yard and 50sf at my front door…read more Travis really cares about concrete and takes pride in his work. He is definitely more of an old school contractor, which for me is preferred. He is the one answering the calls, coming out for the bid and is leading the pours and finishes. For me dealing with so many contractors it's nice when you are not routed through dispatchers and given a 5 hour window for a bid. Travis was always on time for bids and the project and wasted no time getting right to it when he came on site. I had 4 other bids for concrete, and Travis was the most knowledgeable and attentive to details by far. He brought up potential issues that he had with my plan and state of the yard, which other contractors didn't mention and I was able to rectify them before he started work. Some people might find that frustrating but I find it a testament to the quality he is committed to leaving behind which is exceedingly rare with contract work. For the actual finished concrete: I'm in awe of the quality and consistency he laid. The concrete is so perfectly sloped, grated and mated against the house and old slabs that when I hose it off it just beads right off completely opposite the house. Cleaning this new concrete is going to be a breeze and I'm excited to enjoy it. I didn't expect the concrete itself to be the cornerstone in the yard, but it is truly a functioning work of art now. The photos attached are after 3 months and everything loo Value: His cost was very reasonable. He was not the cheapest bid but he was certainly not the most expensive. He even put extra material in his invoicing he wasn't sure he would need, and when he ended up not needing that material he removed it from the final bill. His portfolio was beyond everyone else in quality and I'm happy to add to it. He is now my go to concrete guy.
