He was very personal, very engaging and was open to it questions. Highly recommend and if you're lucky to have Rocky that's a plus!! Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures. From the time we took off to the end of the tour, we were constantly looking left right up around. It was a very busy tour and that's probably why I didn't even bother to take my camera out. Just so much information.

The guide was knowledgeable about the history but there were times it would have been nice for some silence to just take in the sights. If you're a first time visitor like we were then you should for sure take this trip. Now for the down side. They don't take reservations so it's first come first serve. Some people missed out which having an on line presence could have prevented. Second we were told they picked up at the Lorreto Chapel, they don't so we had to dash over several streets to catch the tour. They only take cash, having a web site could eliminate that. There were some who didn't have money, just plastic. Word of caution, these buses are difficult to get in and out of, they are like trolly cars. If you have any sort of physical disability the trip might not work for you

We also had a beer tasting from the local brewery which was very good. Make sure to take in the scenery from one of the open flat cars. The 'robbery' of the car in front of us was hysterical.

For the price, I was expecting something more unique or memorable. They did offer free sparkling wine, which was a nice touch, but they ran out of charcuterie boards after serving only a handful of couples ahead of us on the afternoon scenic ride. That was disappointing, especially since it felt like a basic amenity that should have been better stocked. It was also the only protein based snack option. However, the serving staff was nice and apologetic. The live music was pleasant, but it wasn't upbeat enough to elevate the overall atmosphere and several people around us actually nodded off several times during the ride. One of the better parts was being able to stand in the open-air car and enjoy the breeze, which was relaxing. There was also a presentation by Sante Fe Raptors of a barn owl which was rushed, but one of the highlights of the ride. Overall, it felt overpriced for what was offered, especially without guaranteed snacks or truly standout views. I wouldn't say it's a must-do experience and if you've been on other similar experiences you may be disappointed. If you're going to book, arrive early as there is no designated parking and it can take a while to find street parking due to the location near a popular restaurant.

Our guide, Jose, was absolutely phenomenal! He has so much knowledge of Santa Fe and the food scene, and you can definitely tell he is passionate about the cuisine there. He was extremely personable, funny, and was happy to answer any questions and tell us lots of stories! Really just an overall joy! It was also super fun that everyone in the group was visiting from out of town and many of us loved doing food tours in other cities so we got to swap food tour stories and whatnot. Here's a list of our stops and what we had: La Fogata Grill - taco and margarita Del Charro - enchilada with both sauces and margarita San Francisco St Bar and Grill - half of a green chili cheeseburger and margarita Senor Murphy Candymaker - various sweet treats Everything was absolutely phenomenal - I really can't pick a favorite dish because they were all so yummy. But the Del Charro meal convinced me to always order "Christmas" sauce the rest of my stay in Santa Fe. My favorite margarita was definitely the one at San Francisco! And also, there was one person in the group that didn't drink and they were very accommodating to give him some fancy mocktails instead of cocktails (or boring soda!). Thanks for making my birthday extra special with some fantastic bites and sips!

The tour…read morewas very organized, and I loved that the restaurants were all prepared for our visit, and easily able to accommodate my vegetarian friend, since we had let them know well in advance. The food tour started of strong with a stop at La Fogato Grill, where we ate a delicious shredded beef taco, and had a standard margarita. Next to Del Charro, where we had an excellent chicken enchilada, and got to compare the red and green chili sauces that New Mexico is famous for. We also had a standard margarita here. After reading other Yelp reviews, it's apparently part of Jose's shtick at this location to shoot down anyone who prefers the enchilada over the taco served previously. I didn't take offense; I just thought it was funny. Here's where the tour needs improvement - our next stop was for a dry, half of cheeseburger with a couple of chilis on top and french fries. This felt like food filler. BORING. I could do this at home. And yet ANOTHER plain margarita. FYI - margaritas come in different flavors, and it would have been excellent had a flavored one been served to us. Next 2 stops were food-less for a break, and it was interesting hearing the stories about San Miguel Church, Loretto Chapel, and adobe bricks for building. Our final stop was underwhelming; four tiny pieces of chocolate at Senor Murphy Candymaker. So all in all a decent food tour, but I had been hoping for a more unique food selection, like the posole, tamales, sangria, green chili corn chowder, or New Mexican pizza as listed on their webpage of potential food samplings. Or dessert at the churro place we passed by and Jose recommended. Still, I would definitely recommend this food tour.

We were sent from their parking spot by the Loretto Chapel to the pickup point across from the La Fonda hotel by a staff member. Being late afternoon, it was very hot, and the fellow in the trolley wasn't engaging with any of us in line on the sidewalk until I spoke up and asked, "Are you boarding yet?" and then he kind of snapped to and started selling us tickets, and we all were able to sit down in the shade. Tickets were $25 per person for a 1.25 hour tour. At first I thought it was just going to be "this building is real Adobe and this one isn't" because there was a lot of that to begin with, but the tour encompassed architecture, history (including some of the grittier aspects), popular culture, and local information. It covered the area around the Plaza as well as Canyon Road and up toward Museum Hill. A worthwhile tour especially if you are needing a break later in the day.

This little bus tour (a little over an hour, pointing out sights and history of Santa Fe) was…read morecompletely worth it to us -- we got many idea of where to visit and where to eat. We learned a good bit about the area's history and specialness too. It was $25 per person and our guide Dave was very nice and knowledgeable. Christian, who I believe owns the business (?), is very friendly and directed us to a tour leaving outside La Fonda hotel, because he said there weren't enough people to run twice the number of tours (we intended to take one of the three daily tours outside Loretto Chapel -- but the only ones running at this time are outside La Fonda. So he walked us right over to where the other tour was leaving from and that was very nice and helpful. The only complaint about the tour is they _pack_ that little bus full. Depending on the size of the other people in your row, you might be really squeezed and uncomfortable the whole time. I was wedged at one end for the entire trip, and my whole side and arm are very sore now many hours later. It's a couple narrow steps up to get into the bus (hard to describe -- just trust me!) which is fine for any healthy person with normal mobility but an older person or person with any little challenge with their mobility might struggle! I'm still glad to have taken the tour, but maybe they can break out the second tour bus and not pack us in quite so tightly? Really enjoyable and interesting though!
