My experience was worse than terrible. Never have I experienced such dishonest and misleading business practices. My advice to you is to call your recipient and make sure they've received the product. Buy Buy Baby's business practice is completely misleading and dishonest. They charged my credit card for the order with no intention of delivering the purchase. If I hadn't called the recipient to confirm that the gift was delivered, I would never have known that they didn't receive it and the recipient would never have known that they were supposed to receive it. Buy Buy Baby would keep the payment for the order and let me think it was delivered. They track it in their system as a return. I think a full audit of their books is warranted. After placing my order online, i received an email indicating that the order was delivered. I called the recipient to confirm. They never received it. I called buy buy baby and they said it was delivered. When i told them it wasn't, they said they would send a replacement. Shortly after, i received an email confirming shipment and another email indicating it was delivered. I called the recipient - they did not receive it. I called Buy Buy Baby again who said the original order and the replacement were returned by the recipient! I explained that they never received it. At this point, I told them to send the package to a different address. I haven't received any emails confirming the replacement will be shipped. JUNE 22ND spoke with a women said the warehouse received the bassinet but takes 11-14 days to process. She promised she would call me june 27th To let me know if it was processed or not. It has now been TWO MONTHS since I first called about this bassinet, I have spent OVER 7 HOURS ON THE PHONE and have STILL NOT RECEIVED a full refund. This started before my baby was born and she is now 8 weeks old with no bassinet. Being lied to over the phone and email is Unacceptable!!!! Unbelievable, but there are a lot of comic shops around that are just not professionally run (I'll just leave it at that) Dewey's is definitely a solidly run comic shop. I had been to them a few times in their old location, but parking was horrible over there so I didn't go often. Their new location in Dover actually has great parking so it is easy getting there. At first, the professionalism of the store sold me on making it my regular store. But as I kept going back, i realized just how amazing the staff is there. They know their comic stuff, and are really friendly. I found out after I had praised John (the main counter staff) to a friend that he has been there for many years and is a big part of the store's appeal... I can definitely see that as he's been nothing but amazing to me.. When I set up my pull list in the beginning, I mentioned that in addition to my main books could he throw anything Captain Cold related in. Yes, i know it was a vague request that couldn't be "programmed" easily, but I figured I'd mention it. And I've been delighted to find non-Flash books with Captain Cold showing up in my box. That was impressive on quite a few levels. I joined Dewey's for the professionalism, but am staying because of the friendliness and amazing attention to small details... highly recommended!
