They have a really great message and seem to be conscious of being inclusive. They have books from different cultures (I found a really good one about Ganesh, an important Hindu God), a Black Lives Matter sign in the window, and the customer service is top notch. I arrived a few minutes before opening and was willing to wait, but the woman working inside saw me and immediately unlocked the door. She was very friendly not just with me but with the kids in the store. It's such a warm, bright and friendly environment. You can find so many things here including toys, books, large items like ice cream making stands and rocking horses, costumes, legos, puzzles, art and other creation making kits, stuffed animals. It's nicely set up, bright and welcoming. The prices are also reasonable. They provide wrapping and choice of ribbon color as well. They continually change what they have in stock and stay relevant with the seasons and holidays. So if you're looking for a gift for your child or someone else's, I highly recommend supporting this business.

It's cute in there and the quality of product is great. Today, I was there with my potty-training 3 year old and 6 year old, shopping for a couple of birthday presents. The 3 year old needed to potty. The employees told us that they didn't have a bathroom. I said, "I come here all the time. I know you have a bathroom. I've used it." They unapologetically stated that the owner told them no bathroom use for customers. I was confused. They were matter-of-fact and insistent that this is the policy of the owner. I said, "This is a shop for little kids. You don't let kids use the bathroom?" They insisted no- that it was the policy of the owner. If this is true (I can't image they were lying to me), I just can't support the place. My three year old peed her pants while we were still in there. I spent the last $130 I will ever spend at Toy Division. Now I'll make the drive to Montclair to shop local for kids toys.

(To be clear - it was not Toy Division's fault at all, definitely an issue with the item manufacturer, and it would not have been visible until you removed the item from its packaging.) I didn't want to bother the gift giver with it so I figured I would check with Toy Division just in case they could help, but honestly I'd already mentally chalked it up to an unfixable bummer and was prepared to move on. To my surprise I got an email response within a few hours, and after a brief and very helpful email exchange with Indira, I had a brand-new replacement item coming my way directly from the manufacturer! I'm so, so happy that I'll be able to use this lovely present, and I'm equally thrilled with the friendliness, speed, and effectiveness of the Toy Division team. Thank you so much Indira for turning a bummer of a situation into a delightful one!

Prices are competitive but typically higher than online, but you get your product right away and you get staff to help you if you're not sure what to buy. Parking in the gravel lot is limited. On organized play nights it's usually full, but there is ample street parking on Seney Dr a short walk away.

Coming to CS4L for a camp appointment creates excitement about the camp experience for even the most apprehensive camper (or parent!) in a way that a Prime delivery truck never will. Starting with the individual attention in picking out comforters and sheets, they make every customer feel like they're the ONLY priority of the day. They have an incredible selection of camp necessities and camp "extras" presented in a low-key environment. I love how they have a list of camps near the sheets so you're not re-checking the packing list to see if you need twin-sized or cot sheets for your camper (yes, there is a difference!). There is ZERO pressure to buy extras (and they've even told me it's not necessary to buy everything at their store). Beyond that, they know what campers bring at specific camps (not every camp sends a Crazy Creek chair, for example). They are always willing to present a budget-friendly option (again...they carry a custom clip case for stationery, but they're just as apt to suggest a plain clip case and a few stickers for a camper). If you're packing your "experienced" camper and realize your trunks are ripped the day before they are supposed to leave, they always have TONS of trunks ready for purchase. Many of their custom items have blazing fast turnaround (I ordered a custom teddy bear that was ready in less than 24-hours). I've truly never had a bad experience in this store and recommend them to friends from NY to FL. Their return policy can't be beat. At this point, I consider them to be friends. They are my go-to shop for birthday presents (they wrap everything), and have items at EVERY price-point. They're the best!

She promptly helped me to choose some appropriate gifts and then she wrapped them for me. While she was wrapping, I called the salon where I work and I asked the receptionist to get my appointment shampooed. Then I paid and was on my way. A couple of hours later, my receptionist comes in to my room and tells me that the girl from precious cargo called to see if there is a Dana that works here. Apparently when she was wrapping my gifts she left one of the items out. She called around to several different salons to find me, and then delivered the gift. She even added some extra ribbon so that I could open the wrapping and re-close it. I wish I knew her name because to say this gal went above and beyond is an understatement

However recently we were in the area and I thought it would be cool to stop in. When I walk through the door I was surprised by all the changes they did to the store, which were for the positive. The store is at treasure trove of different things including pops , toys, table, top things, and board games. There are likely more things than I forgotten, but everything in the genre they seem to have a level of something. When I went in the person who was behind the counter was super friendly and greeted me and asked if I needed help. I told him I was just browsing and he told me to let him know if and I needed anything. I let him know the last I was in the store and just wanted to browse around and we waxed poetic a little bit about the store changing. I was surprised they had the brand new d&d campaign for Venca in the special edition. So I picked that up. All in all I thought their prices were fair and the store was pretty nice. If you were local I would not hesitate to come by.

Memories are made, and we look back fondly on these times as the kids grow up. I don't love all of the upselling opportunities, but it's a business and I get it.
