We were looking forward to a relaxing getaway at Tiny Home Resort, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations, especially considering the price. Our biggest concern was the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. There were visible stains on the towels, bed linens, and window blinds. Even more concerning, the water from the faucet was discolored despite letting it run for some time. These issues were unacceptable given the cost of the stay. The hospitality was also disappointing. The resort seems intentionally designed to minimize interaction with guests, but the experience felt impersonal rather than welcoming. Additionally, activities come at an extra cost, which was disappointing given how expensive the accommodations already were. We participated in an arts and crafts activity, and the host barely spoke to or engaged with us. While the tiny home concept is appealing, the overall experience did not justify the price. Between the cleanliness concerns, questionable water quality, additional activity fees, and lack of hospitality, we left feeling disappointed. Unfortunately, I would hesitate to recommend this resort without significant improvements. read more

This resort is terrible. I would not recommend this to anyone. You would think with the high price tag they would make you feel at home. However, it could not have been a more opposite experience. The staff was extremely rude in every situation we encountered. Melissa was roaming our property during our stay and was extremely creepy. We faced an emergency during our stay which we immediately contacted the emergency line. No one answered the phone and days later we were left on "read". Margiery please turn off that setting it is extremely rude and displays you completely ignored us. Our smoke alarm went off multiple times at 4am and was called "finicky" by Melissa. With the $1000 price tag I would expect a nicer trailer park. Stay anywhere else! read more

We had the absolute best time staying at the tiny house resort this past week. Thank you so much for everything. This trip was for our cousins bachelorette and my 31st birthday and you upgraded us to stay in the mystic. We decorated but made sure to clean everything up. Sharing a picture so you can see how much fun we had. We did camp themed! We will be back!! Thank you so much for the best trip ever!! read more

We initially booked to come here last year, but work conflicts had us rescheduling to this year. What a relaxing and quiet time we had - we brought our dog with us, went hiking, picked some herbs and vegetables from their garden, took a goat/chicken yoga class, a paint & sip class, and just sat on our porch to listen to the wind, creek and nature. Staff was friendly and super helpful, everything was clean, worked well and we will most definitely come back for another trip - this time we will bring our kids as well. Met some really nice folks staying there - everyone was a return customer "this is our 4th time, we come here every year." I even was able to take a 10K run around the property, making use of the trails and some of the elevation - really great if you're training for a trail run. Loved our stay, already looking at our calendar to see when we can go back. Great idea, lovely property, thanks so much for a great time! read more

The resort is adorable, quaint, and unique. We went in November during a drought and a fire ban, so we missed out on campfires and waterfalls sadly. Some of the activities we wanted to participate in we couldn't, because they were cancelled due to lack of RSVP. The animals are awesome and the grounds are nice. The unit itself served our needs and really gave us the vibe we were looking for. We were pretty disappointed in the way we were spoken to and treated by Melissa, who was quite frankly rude and obnoxious in speaking to us. Instead of politely interacting with us or asking something of us, she instead chose to be sarcastic, roll her eyes, was demeaning and assumptive. Outside of our multiple encounters with Melissa, we had a great time. read more

Wow! I absolutely loved my stay up here! I came across this little resort from a Tik tok I saw and I'm so glad I did. How cool of an experience this was, I can't wait to go back up again. I stayed in the green bean, which was so cozy, it had a big deck and over looked the stream. The place was clean and organized, and it's super close to Hudson and the Catskills, so you can easily see lots of cool things in close proximity. They have a little petting zoo of Goats and sheep and do a daily goat walk. It's fascinating. The customer service is amazing and welcoming. I didn't want to leave. Can't wait to return. I loved my stay here! read more

Hubs and I usually like to visit new lodging places after we've checked out from our hotel for a possible visit. While we didn't stay here, Google painted a magnificent Tiny House Resort article- worth visiting for a possible future stay since they aimed at that "stylish" and "modern" design. While this might be true, when hubs and I stopped by for a looksie at an empty model, my first impression of the grounds was real off. Expect a trailer park and farm mash-up and let me not forget, there were a trillion chickens (exaggeration....but there were A LOT) around. And that contemporary feel that's been plastered all over the internet, is false. I don't mean to offend anyone if you live in a trailer park- because at the end of the day, folks need to live somewhere. But if I'm staying anywhere and paying top-dollar, it needs to blow me away in quality AND looks. Wouldn't you want THE WHOLE PACKAGE too? Hubs had to dodge those damn chickens as he rolled up. And because of COVID, the owner has a check-in nook of some sort and you speak to her through a tablet to get info. We couldn't walk the grounds- I get it. When hubs came back to the car (and before I even read reviews), all he said was the lady on the other end was arrogant. Seems like customer service, pricing and appearances didn't measure up to my expectations. So lady- it's not us.....it's you. And chickens? read more

It's a cool experience but I'm not sure if we will return. For the price of it and the clean up fee of $85 I would expect it to be cleaner. My husband and I stayed for one night and it was dirty, the floors are disgusting and there's cat hair on EVERYTHING. We mentioned it to the front desk when checking out and kind of got an attitude, but she said she'll tell the cleaning staff. Aside from that, I originally booked the hideout which is a water view and I got an email the day before check in with my invoice and it had a different house. I called and she informed me due to weather (icy conditions) they closed the waterview section off, which I completely understand. But no phone call? You just switch my room without contacting me, if I didn't notice on the invoice that the room name was different I wouldn't have known about it until I drove there. Idk some situations weren't handled how I would think they should be handled when you're paying $460 for one night. read more

This is our third time visiting but our first time with the kids. We all had a great time! We stayed in the double wide and there was more than enough space. The kids room with tons of toys was a hit and unexpected. The outdoor shower was so relaxing! Good amount of arts and crafts activities each day. We loved the animals! Pool was clean and a perfect temperature. Tubing on the creek was fun! Love staying here! Great place and the bonus is the great food in Hudson, Catskills and Hunter area! Will be back! read more

We just got back from my 4th visit to the Tiny House Resort! Every time I go, I notice they have expanded and always providing new amenities. I've stayed in three different Tiny Homes. The Lodge, is one of their older houses and can sleep up to 6 people (a bedroom with a queen, loft with two twins, and another loft with a full. It's still cozy, but I do prefer some of the other properties. The flat is nice because it's on the hill and you still have a water front. My favorite house so far is the Nest. It's one of the newer homes along the river with excellent water front view. I love the fenced in area with covered dining and gas fireplace. They added a pickle ball and full size basketball court and there was a "garage" building with heating for activities and crafts. On this trip, we really tried to stay on the property and take full advantage of all the amenities. We participated in candle making and pumpkin painting which was so fun! We got to finally meet Margie, and learn so much about the history of the place. She was incredibly sweet. The live band was awesome and we loved hanging out by the firepits near the food truck. I can't wait to come back in the summer with my kids! read more

This was a pleasant surprise! Booked this bc it is dog friendly! It was the best thing I have done in a while. A full camp site of tiny homes on a beautiful creek with goats, ducks, sheep, chickens and a deer if you spot him! They have everything you could ask for including fire pits and wood on site so you don't have to go out looking for it or bring it, a pool(not for dogs) and a dog park. There are even trails to walk with your pup and a waterfall. Each tiny home is different and stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Everything was clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! They love dogs here as well so bring your pup! Many tiny homes had large fenced in decks for off leash fun! My dog loved it! read more

We just spent 3 nights there with our kids. The tiny house was nice and comfortable it except the 3 nights was very pricey, considering some of the activities we were drawn to on the property weren't available due to the creek water level being too low to go tubing or kayaking. It was surprising that they didn't mention that to us before coming because they were very communicative about other things. They were a nice crew and I did like the fact that their dad owned Think Big a cool shop in SoHo back in the day. Things that were good was the animals and the goat walk in the evening, basketball court and pickle ball. The pool could use an upgrade. The highlight was able to sit under the waterfall! It was amazing! Beyond refreshing! I would try staying another time when all what the property has to offer is available. read more

We rented 2 tiny houses right across from each other, the Boho and the Green Bean. First the pros - Due to Covid we couldnt go to Aruba as originally planned, so this was a very socially distant plan B. The houses are adorable and extremely clean. The check in process was totally hands free and very well thought out. Pre check in communications, aka texts were very helpful. The grounds were very camp ground like and we loved the deck, BBQ and firepit for each unit. We made the most of the firepit space and used it both nights we were there. Not sure why our unit had neither a gazebo nor string lighting like the rest, but no points off for that, just curious. The critters are also very cute. Allison aka Alley Cat spent one night with us at the firepit (after i spilled my wine from the startle of something rubbing against my leg lol) She was then back for breakfast and cried until I shared my eggs with her, which I did gladly. Most of my family back home have cat allergies so I was thrilled to have a vacation cat to spend some time with! I also loved the honor system with which you could go to the pantry and if you needed to buy something you just venmo'd for it. I bought a cute coffee mug and it has gotten good use already! Now the cons - the place is EXTREMELY expensive. The places we stayed were smallest units and we paid $295 per night, per unit PLUS an $85 cleaning fee per unit We stayed 2 weeknights, not even a weekend. I am not clear on the cleaning fee tbh as we had to empty our own garbage by dumping it in the dumpsters up near the office and only received the towels that were in the house when we arrived. No fresh towels the 2nd day. As another reviewer stated, it seemed a lot of nickeling and diming. Early check in or late check out they try to sell you space in a cabana, not cheap. Also I felt for the cost of the houses to have to pay extra for the firewood to use in the firepit each unit comes with wasn't cool. They could have included it rather than charging $8, it just seemed wrong. Tiny houses are definitely a novelty and again, I really enjoyed the place, but based on the cost i dont think I would be back. I'd rather spend that type of money in Manhattan. read more

Please be careful spending your hard earned money at this outrageously expensive tiny home resort. The concept is clever but the owners (mother & daughter) will make your stay a nightmare (no exaggeration). Where do I begin! We were accused of throwing trash on the floor.. a red bull can (we don't drink red bull). They assumed it was us because we are in our late 20s. They were beyond rude. Not welcoming at all. They looked annoyed when we asked for simple things like coffee, etc. they're very odd people with zero social skills. I jokingly asked a worker if I can take a goat to my tiny home and she took me serious as if I truly want a goat in the place I'm staying!! Omg!! The place was infested with spiders, flies, mosquitoes etc. My family and I were getting bitten alive. THEY DO NOT HAVE SCREENS ON THE DOORS.. We sprayed bug spray so they won't come in to sting us. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $2,400. TO REPLACE AN ENTIRE DOOR WHEN THE SPRAY CAME OFF WITH WATER AND PAPER TOWEL. (Please see pictures attached.) We left the place better than how we found it. What's the point of charging a cleaning fee when we cleaned the entire place. We even recorded it when she complained about the door. She made us drive 20 minutes back to wipe a door!! My advice to the owners is if you're going to own a business in hospitality learn people skills! There is a better way to speak to your paying customers. read more

We love this sweet little resort. The tiny houses are comfortable and well thought out. The staff is wonderful. The animals: goats, sheep, chickens, and ducks, add such charm. Getting fresh free-range eggs every day is a bonus. The pool, the creek, and the waterfall all add to the relaxation. Simply a lovely place for R n R and family fun. And it's dog friendly! read more

Let me start by saying, I love the location and grounds. I visited this place when they first opened up. My first visit rated 5 stars. This second visit much less, and it all comes down to lack of customer service, which is sad because this place could be great, even though it's overpriced. First of all, they have a 6 person tiny home that they charge extra per night for everyone over 2 people. I told them that's a resort fee. They said they "don't call it that." But it is. It is totally a resort fee. The larger unit already costs nearly 40% more per night, so aren't you already paying for the extra large unit? Make it make sense. Then only one set of lights worked on the outdoors area the first night. They said because of a big storm that blew through the night before. They fixed the set of lights the next day, but in doing so the working set stopped working. When the woman saw the original set of lights weren't working now, she said someone would come fix those. No one ever did, but we didn't know until the nighttime because we didn't check, just trusted they would do it while we were out. So we paid for the outdoors, but were not able to use the outdoors area either of the first two nights. Because they warned us that bears could be present, we were too scared to stay out in the dark. So that was a big waste of money because the point to being upstate is using the outdoors. Then we had an issue with only 2 towels and 2 small rolls of toilet paper being in the unit for 5 people. We asked for more towels early in the morning on Saturday. Had not received any by nearly noon. So we texted again and asked for a few more items that weren't provided for a party of five. When we were told they provide only "starter creamer"., I pointed out it wasn't enough to even start because we paid $50 per night for 3 "extra" people. Again we had to pay extra for 5 people to use a 6-person home. I wasn't happy with how they responded to the ask for creamer, so I told them about the hair I found in the shower also, which I cleaned and would've just kept it to myself, except for the that response. They then accused us of leaving the hair. When I pointed out that the hair was clearly Caucasian and we were all black, again no apology or even a response. The customer service is severely lacking in this place now. After not being able to use the outdoors for the second night, most of us were unhappy, and so left early Sunday at 1pm instead of staying to be cooped up inside for another night. We paid through Monday 11 am. Unless they make adjustments, I really wouldn't recommend this place. The value just isn't there, especially with such poor customer service. I am generously leaving a second star because the place is nice if you can use the whole of the property. It just wasn't worth it because we paid extra and couldn't even use the outdoors. A credit back would have been appreciated. I included screenshots, so I can't be accused of making any of this up. read more

Came across this resort when I was researching for a place that is isolated but also relaxing during the pandemic. I've been following a lot of tiny home renovation shows and was interested in staying in one. I was surprised to find this resort only 2 hours away from where I live. I booked this place for a 2-night stay with 3 adults and a child. We truly enjoyed this place. We like the privacy of each house and all the amenities it came with. It's pretty loaded! Due to early May and still being a bit chilly in New England we didn't spend as much time outdoor in the patio so didn't get to enjoy the fire pit and the grill. But we do love the large window that came with our house that allowed us to have a very nice view of the Catskills Creek at a distance. We were lucky to have such nice weather during our stay so we were able to take a walk on the property. We didn't go anywhere but spend all of our time on the property. It's such a relaxing place you don't really want to go anywhere. We are definitely going to plan a return stay! Our house was the Mizu. read more

This resort is incredible. The grounds are beautiful and the tiny home we stayed in was super luxurious and well maintained. There's goats and ducks on property you can pet and interact with. Best of all, we have a dog and a cat and our tiny home was cat friendly. It's been challenging to find places that will accept our cat too, so we were extremely happy when we found out they accept cats in some of the houses. We loved our experience sitting around our fire pit, looking at the river, and seeing our cat in the window of our tiny home. Definitely recommend! read more

Had a wonderful two night stay in the Mocha. There were lots of pleasant surprises at the resort, such as live music that we could listen to from our porch, our own huge outdoor shower, and "happy hour" at the tiny bites truck (on Sunday they gave out free ice cream sundaes). The free goat milk soap and lotion are a nice touch, and the fresh eggs, too! The pool area was great as well. We practically had the whole pool to ourselves, which was nice after going on a 5 mile hike at kaaterskill falls! I read other reviews and it seems like a lot of people who were unhappy with the resort didn't read about it ahead of time. They do have strict policies, but they are all thoroughly explained on the website and in the texts and emails they send you prior to and during your visit. One thing I wish I knew ahead of time is that the tap water tastes like chlorine ..luckily we had lots of bottled water, but even making coffee requires bottled water. It did rain all day on our second day here, but it forced us to relax and enjoy the tiny house life! Another tip, if you're staying on a Monday, the food truck closes by 11am and many restaurants in surrounding towns are closed. We found Wunderbar Bistro about 20 min away and it was delicious! Also packed, since its one of the only restaurants open, so make a reservation or get there early! One last thing....while people complain the this resort is overpriced...if you walk the grounds and think about the upkeep it must take to keep things perfect for guests, I'd say it's worth the money. If you can book during the week, you'll get a cheaper rate and there will be less people/guests, which was right up our alley! Oh! And if you like cats, you may get a visit from 2 friendly ones that wander the property! read more

So let me start off with my disappointments. this! So I trying to order their birthday package and I never got an answer if I could buy it or not. So when I get there I ask them about it and they say it's already in there, so I'm like cool. I give her the ($100) So now I'm happy as hell !! We get to the house. Why is it a balloon stand with (5 balloons) And two (99cents Champagne glass) (With Hershey kisses in the glasses) And two chocolate Hershey bars covered with printed resort birthday wraps on it and a printed resort poster happy birthday banner. Now with all of that I was upset but I didn't sweat it. But this last piece took the cake for me They had a cute bottle of champagne and when I looked the name up, it was a ($10 bottle of champagne!!!) and now at this point I'm furious. I'm very appalled So I went go to talk to someone and I run into margie and the first response I got was did you READ the website description? I say no. They go, well it "says a birthday stand and everything and "the fee for the setup" No I'm cool with the setup fee too but it didn't say any details about how the setup really Damn A $10 bottle of champagne. I was p'd off And then she go " you know your the first person to ever not like that package" " you have to read the description on the website" " how much balloons can we fit in there. "It's but so much that can go in the tiny house " I just said ok thank you and walked away. : the picture with the champagne) is there setup. $100 : the picture with the black balloons) my setup. $60 I just wanted a bang for my buck. They didn't CARE! about that. But overall the tiny house was great. A lot of chlorine in the water to the point we had to buy bottle water to wash off our skin. Another issue the bathroom door needed a door stopper in order to close it was not told that , and the front door you have to play with the lock in order to lock or open the door one night I thought the door was lock I happen to get up in the middle of the night and it was open definitely not safe. What it has great views Rice Trail in a lot of things to do and you have to pay for the firewood oh and really look at the pictures and the the details. I gave them three stars because of the way the tiny house looked the design was beautiful and the area was to! We stayed at mocha read more

We stayed at the resort twice since covid pandemic began. Perhaps because of covid distancing practices, we experienced none of the rudeness from management that some other yelpers conplained about. The manager pass us the keys and gave some simple instruction from the entrance building. Hand us keys, and gate remote then just left us alone. The checkout is simply returning the remote and key in a dropoff box. Pros: Very clean house with fairly new or well kept amenities and utensils Honor system snack shack and firewood (grab what you want and venmo them) is a brilliant touch. We got firewood and made smores. Goats, chicken, rabbits are cool too look at for a while Creek and waterfall are within the campground. Walking around the entire campground takes about 45min Nice bbq grills. We fully utilized them during the second stay. We bought galbi and veggies from korean market. Korean bbq fresh off the grill!! Cons: Pretty expensive Minimal free goodies (both times they gave us some fresh eggs from their chickens. Cool but not impressive) Overall, you would be paying the price of 4-5 star hotel for a trailer cabin thats in a pretty good camp ground that has a waterfall, creek and lots of trees. We had peaceful and relaxing stay both times. Next time I would love to get our friends together to book two adjacent cabins. Hanging out together in a firepit would be quite memorable. If you already live in a house with a nice backyard, you might not be too impressed by this resort. But if you are like us apartment rats from NYC this is a worthwhile getaway if you could splurge a little. We are likely gonna keep visiting yearly. read more

If you are like me -- reading reviews before visiting a place, well please ignore any bad reviews here. This resort is absolutely gorgeous, breath taking, peaceful, and so much to do -- exceeding all my expectations plus more. I really don't understand what people are talking about being nickeled and dimed. This resort is totally worth every penny! and that wasn't my experience at all. To be honest, A tiny house resort is way better than any luxury hotel in the city. My boyfriend and I stayed at The HIDEOUT. The view and sound from the catskill creek were absolutely relaxing and beautiful. We had everything we needed in our tiny house: body-wash, shampoo, conditioner, pots, pans, dish soap, hand soap, plates, cups, paper toilet and towels all included in the price. The bed was super comfortable we had the best night sleep. We grilled the entire time -- super impressed with Weber Grill and all tools provided for grilling. Love that even the propane was included (hence why its worth the price). We prep food prior to our stay, and if you really want to enjoy your stay without supermarket runs I strongly suggest that. The waterfall gorgeous! We really enjoyed the trails, pool, tubing, and all the animals at NO EXTRA COST! Our entire stay was phenomenal -- we had a great time. We were given a welcome bag with honey, goat milk lotion, farm fresh eggs (Again worth every penny). Margie and Nancy you both were so helpful, friendly, accommodating and informative. You guys made our stay the best and we really appreciate that. This will be our annually vacation for sure! We are already planning our next trip for December. You both made us feel welcome and at home. Thank you so much! We left this place feeling so refresh, happy and at peace. We actually loved that check in was at 3pm, as we got in town pretty early and was able to visit Old factory brewery. When I was booking I thought two nights were enough, but let me tell is not! specially if you love nature. So please for anyone considering a trip here plan and book ahead - Don't get upset or write a bad review when they can't accommodate you for additional days - or can't check out at a later time. The policy are extremely clear during booking! Once again thank you! read more

This place is just incredible! The family who owns & runs it, all the staff who work there, & even the other guests-wow! Everyone just gets it! The entire place is clean, friendly, and so inviting. Really, they've thought of everything without going over the top with unnecessary/wasteful extras. My visit last summer made me so anxious to come back-and I finally had a chance over New Year's weekend. We stayed in the Hide Out and I already can't wait to go back again! Between the glorious night's sleep in comfortable bedding, perfect temperature control, spacious bathroom and shower, well-cared-for, snuggly goats (our favorite!), and other sweet, friendly farm animals, a visit from the hot toddy delivery wagon with cocoa and cider, beautiful waterfall and river walk, even in the winter there is so much to do. We stood at the Green Bean, which was recently relocated from near the dog run to in front of the Catskill creek, near the waterfall. Clean, modern, the grounds are well kept, the main road that guides you to the snack shop, farm animals, pool and dog run are illuminated after sunset for easy late night walks. The family that runs it are kind, and so accommodating to pets (major plus!). My husband and I live in NYC, this was an easy and scenic 2 hour drive. You can park right up to your tiny house. Most houses have a view of the creek, each have a fire pit, lounge furniture, and grill. Lastly, their attentiveness and overall customer service was beyond incredible. This place really reminded me of renting a cabin with my family in the Adirondacks every summer as a kid... except better because it's luxury, modern, closer to NYC, and "good dog" friendly (no weight restriction) We can't wait to go back! read more

A New Home Away From home... where to even begin with this magical place? we are a hiker camper dead head couple who look for unique places to stay, and we found this on a whim planning a road trip and had to check it out. let me just say the pictures and website does no justice for the true wonders this place beholds, but how could it? you have to come see it with your own eyes. it surrounded by beautiful mountains, charming artsy towns, waterfalls, and old farm country. we were not sure what to expect, but immediately when we pulled in we were welcomed by Nancy- a lovely fellow deadhead and it felt like we were welcomed into this family's home. they are open to conversation, new friends, and showing you all of the best places for you to find the best adventure for you. the second we settled in we realized this place is so personal and well run. everything is so clean, organized, well labeled. somehow they managed to fit every single thing you could need into this tiny beautiful little house (or if they didn't you can certainly find it in the snack shack.) There are friendly animals everywhere waiting to be loved, good food available often, A WATERFALL!!! a fresh garden and fresh eggs and live music. they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Paradise. Now, having completed our week long stay (and extending our trip to stay here even longer) we feel so thankful and blessed to have been welcomed to this amazing property. you ladies really have something special here, we plan to return- again and again. We cannot thank you enough, keep on trucking. Peace and love, Madie and Alan. read more

My husband, 2 children, and I stayed at The Lodge for a weekend. Pros: - Very clean - They screened visitors with regard to Covid a few days prior to the check in day - The goats were very friendly. My kids loved petting them. Now for the cons: VERY expensive. People say you get what you pay for but that's not the case here. We were charged $85 extra for cleaning fee HOWEVER we were expected to bring our garbage all the way up the hill to their dumpster. If I already paid a lot of money to stay here, I still have to pay to bring my own garbage out? Why??? The weekend we were there, it rained and was gloomy all day Saturday. We weren't able to go around as much as we wanted to, being we had a 6 and 4 year old with us. The following day, Sunday, we received a text reminder that we had to check out at 11am. We left the unit around 10:30am since that day was bright & sunny and we wanted to explore around to see what we missed the day before. By 10:52am, my kids still wanted to explore so I sent a text to them to say that we have left the unit and asked if we could still walk around the premises before the long drive back home. Imagine our disappointment when we were told that no, they don't allow people to remain in the property after the 11am check out time. Mind you, it's not a small property and there was no one around us anymore. It's not like new people will be coming in because check in is not until 3pm! I would rather spend hard earned money somewhere else. We have been to another farm with houses within the property also in the Catskills, ran by an elderly couple and their son this past October - we paid less money and although we mainly communicated via text, the owners still gave us a warm welcome at check in and wished us well at check out. They were very friendly with our children and even gave us a dozen eggs when we left. We didn't pay extra for cleaning and we never had to throw our garbage out. And lastly, were not kicked out after check out time. read more

I have stayed at the Tiny House Resort on 2 occasions, once in the summer and once in the winter for a skiing trip. On the summer trip I was pleased to see they added miniature goats to the experience, they're a funny set of characters. On the ski trip I stayed in the Lux with a friend of mine. We are both 6ft +, It was very comfortable. Never got the notion that we were "roughing it", Quit the opposite actually. After a day on the slopes we went for dinner at a nearby restaurant that Melissa recommended. They had a mini snack store on the compound which came in very handy. We ended the night with drinks and a bonfire . On the Summer Trip We took full advantage of the nearby stream and pool. It was good having the option due to social distancing when other groups were by the pool. There was volley ball and other games available to be used on the lawn area. This establishment is super animal friendly; it even had a dog park for guests traveling with fur babies. Planning to go back with a few friends sometime this summer! read more

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness Glad I found this resort online. We love the concept. Hubby and I had a relaxing time. We stayed in the Mystic which had a wonderful view of the creek. The house was comfy and cute. They supply you with everything you would need. Just bring food and drinks. They also have a snack shack in case you forget something or crave any sweets. Got to see the goats, enjoyed the fresh layed eggs and loved walking around the beautiful property. The only downfall we had, someone didn't pick up after their dog so the fire pit area every once in a while you'd get a whiff of the poop. Overall had a great time. We hope to come back again. read more

A Tiny House Resort - We stayed at the Mystic. Great view of the creek. - Resorts Near Me - South Cairo, New York

When we arrived to THR, we were promptly checked in and directed to our tiny home. We were so excited to see chickens, goats and sheep along our tiny drive to our tiny home. We brought our dog with us and he was so excited to experience something outside of NYC! After unpacking we noticed our TV wasn't working properly - Olivia came up right away and tried to troubleshoot it for us (she's so nice!). It looked like the time had just come for the TV - we weren't too worried about, just appreciated the quick, kind response to the issue. Instead of just waiting for the issue to resolve itself (maintenance could come the next day to fix it), the team of THR offered to move us to another home. We took them up on it and honestly, both places didn't disappoint! They were gorgeous and we are so happy with our stay. Our tiny home had a beautiful fenced in patio with a really awesome fire table and was plenty big for the both of us and our large doggo. We spent the day on trails/hiking/exploring Hunter and other surrounding towns, then the evenings relaxing and unwinding at our tiny home. I honestly didn't want to leave this morning. It was SO relaxing. Plus on the way out we were able to grab some farm fresh eggs for our breakfast tomorrow! Bonus! Thanks for an awesome, unforgettable time Tiny House Resort! We will be back :) Christina, Jason & Captain read more

This is our second year staying at A Tiny House Resort. We picked the same tiny house called the Green Bean. The house was clean and in immaculate condition. The grounds are beautiful. There is nothing like walking around and seeing goats, sheep and chickens. Margie and her team treat you like family. Honestly I didn't want to do a review because the less people that know about this place the better our chances of getting our house next year read more

My family and I stayed 3 nights at The Big One, and we absolutely LOVED our stay there! The hosts are very nice and welcoming, the house was super clean, the beds are very comfortable. We loved that they offered fresh eggs every morning, we brought our own food to make dinner, and also stopped by the Tiny Bites food truck for specials. Check in and check out was a breeze. They offer so many fun things, we really didn't have to leave. It was very hot while we were there and the pool was perfect. The goats and sheep were the highlight for my kids, they are so sweet and love attention, they wanted to bring them home with us. Definitely recommend! read more

This vacation spot is really cool. The novelty of staying in an actual tiny house is what prompted us to book here and it met expectations. The property is well kept and clean. The home we rented (the oki) was very cute and comfortably fit two adults and a golden retriever. Our dog loved the dog park and the waterfall. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to book again in the future. read more

Way too expensive... My husband and I stayed here a while back and we absolutely loved it. However, shortly afterwards we looked into booking a second trip and found that they had more than DOUBLED the prices... we had paid $109 per night and the price is now $295 per night. That's crazy. As much as we'd like to go back, that's way too much for just simple accommodations. It's not like there's food or some luxury experience included... plus I saw that you have to add $25 per child, which means bringing our 2 kids for 1 night would cost $345. Pretty ridiculous. I saw they added a pool and maybe they think that justifies a $180 price jump, but it doesn't lol. It's a cool place and we had a great time, but I'd never pay that much for it so unfortunately we won't return. read more
