I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. We rented a vacuum pump for our ac, they rented out broken equipment, the gauge was broken and didn't even go to the equipment, in fact it was a old vehicle gauge, the hoses didn't have the black seal on the inside to even do anything with, it wouldn't have vacuumed anything with the hoses being unsealable. When we went to return it the owner explained "we should have called him even if it was 3am if we wanted our full money back" this information is not listed in their return policy, it's not listed in the rental agreement, nor is it posted on the receipt, saying we should call his personal phone to let him know even though the store is closed in order to get a full return. When I called them about a hour after the return to figure out why there wouldn't be a full refund his receptionist was extremely rude from the get go, she didn't want to explain anything to me, she had a attitude while I was just trying to figure out what happened and why. She got the owner on the phone and he started off extremely rude. I asked him why it was rented out if it was broken, he lied stating he had let me husband know about the broken gauge, which if he had actually done so we would have went elsewhere to rent equipment that wasn't broken, he wouldn't answer me as to why the seals on the hoses not being present on the vacuum pump didn't qualify as getting our money back, he lied multiple times about the information he gave, and refused to give the rest of the money back for his faulty equipment. So basically they are scam artist, renting out broken equipment, making their own rules and policies that aren't listed so they can pocket extra money from people instead of actually maintaining their equipment. Im more shocked at the attitude from me simply asking questions than anything else. People who have zero accountability shouldn't have a business at all. It's one thing to scam people, it's another to be rude when you're asked why. read more

A-Team rentals rented a wood shredder/chipper to us. When we had some difficulty with the machine, a workman came out promptly to attempt a repair. Due to time constraints on our part, we were not able to fully use the wood shredder. As a consequence, the owner and I had a very friendly text exchange in which he made a very fair offer for the trouble we had experienced. Also, he made sure that the problem was rectified so that no further people would have the same difficulty. The most organized aspect of this business is their website. Employees are rude and unknowledgeable. One will tell you one price and another will tell you 2 diffent prices. They do not stand behind quoted prices. They quoted me 130.00 and charged my credit card 190.00. PLEASE PLEASE go to Rabern Rentals. I noticed there weren't many reviews for A-Team and I hope this doesn't prevent people from using the. Their equipment that I have used has always been in good condition, they are knowledgable about their products and very helpful. While I consider all these attributes important the thing that stood out to me most was their courtesy and helpfulness. They are the company you would be glad you chose. read more

My husband rented a piece of equipment here. When he took it back, he was told he would be charged a certain amount for fuel and then was told a different amount at checkout. He spoke with the girl and told her the amount he was told and she refused to listen and went and got a guy to come help. This man was rude and not willing to listen. After my husband left he sent an email to the company hoping for a call back from an owner or manager that would be willing to listen to the customers concern. He got a call back from the same guy that came out to "help" while he was there. When my husband told him he was hoping for a call from a manager or owner, his response was "I am the f$$$ing owner!" WOW! I overheard this person saying this and was APPALLED when he got off the phone and told me that was the owner! The issue here isn't the additional money we had to pay, the first issue is the worker who told my husband one thing and then was charged another, which then led to the owner calling my husband a liar. But what I see as the main issue is the owners phone call! I work for a small town business and I know good and well that when we have a customer who is unhappy or has any kind of issue, he makes absolutely sure that they are 100% taken care of. This is how the owner of a company should run his business! I am seriously blown away at how the owner handled this! We will never be back again! read more

I talked to an employee yesterday, informed him I was from out of town and would be coming in to rent a specific item the next morning. I leave My house more than three hours early and wait 45 minutes for them to open. Only to be told that they have a "rule" straight from the owner that they can't state over the phone. That rule is that out of town customers can't use debit cards or cash to rent and they must provide a utility bill, not a vehicle registration form, not insurance paperwork, only a utility bill, or to give them someone's phone number @ 7:45 am to verify your address. I can only assume there things from this and other reviews, they will try to add some ridiculous charge, they will try to screw the customer some other way, or they don't want business from out of town customers. I'm getting ready to redo my roof, I will be looking elsewhere for all the rental equipment I need for that. Great job A-team! read more
