The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they don't necessarily have 'speedy' service. Usually they give me a 'date to pick up by' but its usually a day or two after that. I don't mind. So far the quality of their work is reasonable and good quality. I have gone to another business like this in Lodi and HATED it. There customer service was dismal. Monogram Magic to me is a hidden gem in Manteca. I will continue to bring business to them. I definately won't do the online screen printing like Vista Print or other places that the prices are too good to be true....even if its a fraction of the price---its all done in china. Beware of that online. Stick to local! Why not support a local business that helps the Manteca community and beyond in? To me good customer service. When I stopped by the store at 2:40p today, Friday 2/21, the store was closed. There was a phone…read morenumber written on the glass with instructions to "text for assistance". I sent a text asking for their hours, and a couple of minutes later, a young woman showed up and unlocked the front door. She walked into the store and began locking the door behind her, but before she completely lock it, I caught her attention and asked for the store hours. She proceeded to tell me that the store was closed, no one was there, and she was the only person in the store. She said she didn't know the hours because she was an "just there as an intern", she didn't work for them, she was "only doing community service", and she had "nothing to do with them". She was a bit dismissive and what makes matters worse is that, 6 hours later, I have still not received a reply to my text message! Thankfully, I happened to come across another business a couple of doors down that does custom laser engraving. Their name is Archer Creative Designs and they were very friendly, attentive, inexpensive, and thorough, and they'll get the work completed within 3 days! What kind of business does not keep a history file of your loyal customers for years. The big lady in the front is rude and and laughed in my face when I informed her what was messed up and you can physically see the embroidery they messed up on. She then proceeded to tell me she was here last year when I brought my item in but then does not have any measurements or any file history nor do they have the same font and plates but she can fix it. She then proceeded to tell me the building is under new ownership and nothing transitioned over smoothly for customers. Her words not mine. That right there says it all folks!
