I knew it was risky and the timeframe was really short and long story short it ended up being a bad choice - the dress I ordered was awful! With only one week before my wedding I rushed to Davids Bridal to try to find a dress off the rack. Obviously though, going to a bridal shop, non-traditional dresses are hard to come by and the best I could find was a cute ivory tea length, A-line dress. I really wanted something colorful and floral still so I found some floral tulle at JoAnne's and then searched for a local seamstress to see if anyone local could figure out something to do with my boring ivory dress, and in just a matter of days! Oh and the shoulders needed to be taken in as well!! Mandy was quick to respond, invited me to her home-based shop and said she could do it and would have it done by the next day!! It was even better than I expected! Like a whole new dress and fit like a glove!! I felt absolutely beautiful and received countless compliments! I highly recommend Mandy! After using the Port Townsend Cleaners that was the only…read moreoption after the one next to Don's Pharmacy closed (it was excellent) I took a beautiful Pendleton wool blanket to be dry cleaned before storing it for summer to the PT cleaners near the Goodwill store. When I got it back it was covered with either cat or rat hair that was imbedded in the wool. This blanket had NEVER been exposed to a cat or dog--or rat. I took it back. They supposedly recleaned it but it still looked exactly the same. No apology and no refund of $50. I took it to a cleaners in Poulsbo next. Same story. Finally I took it to Good Impressions and within the week the blanket was as clean as when we bought it a year before. No special charge at all. Since then it is the only dry cleaners we use. Always excellent! Always friendly and on time.
