Buyer Beware: Health Issues from Inbreeding…read more We purchased a Maltese puppy from Claudia, but unfortunately, our experience has been disappointing. While the DNA confirmed he's a Maltese, he has curly hair (not typical for the breed), weighs 15 lbs, and suffers from multiple health issues, severe anxiety, back and leg problems--likely due to inbreeding per our veterinarian. Claudia is clearly passionate about her dogs, but she admitted that our dog's parents were purchased from another breeder, which led us to discover they were related. Although Claudia did not intentionally breed for these issues, it's a reminder to be cautious when choosing a breeder. At $2500, we did not expect him to be an inbred puppy. Claudia may not have known about the inbreeding, but we urge potential buyers to carefully consider the breeding practices before purchasing as the genetic health problems have been frustrating.

Nancy was out for three hours with us, and we are already having great results. Although it is a little more expensive than I was expecting for dog training, the lifetime guarantee for your pet is wonderful, and the information given at the start of training is also going to make life with future pups easier. They took one look at him and knew he was bad off. They immediately took my baby and rushed him to the back and begin working on him. They allowed me to stand there and observe everything they did to my King. I am a medical person and I am familiar with the processes of triage patients with emergencies. The physician performed a sonogram and began to tell me my options of care. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life. I decided not to be selfish and to have my King put to rest. This facility not only comfort me, but my family as well. They gave us a room and told us to take our time, they offered refreshments and continually checked on us. They just went out of their way with compassion and concern. I have never experienced this type of Customer Service in my entire life. It made me and my family feel heard and understood about our wishes. Once my family completed our goodbyes and they put our King to rest, they comfort my family, some even shared tears with us. They gave us things to remember our baby boy King that I will cherish forever.This hospital will always hold a special place in my heart. This is a place that I would love to work at and be proud to say that I worked there because each and every person who works in that building are Gods angels, and truly care about the animals that they treat. I will always be grateful. I know this was God's plan because it all went perfectly. Yes, I left without a dog, but I now have a new family that I would cherish with my other pets.
