I would suggest to asked them to wipe off the oil ( on your boday) with a wet warm towel after if you do not like have an oily feeling.

Cons were the extremely small relaxation room that was 100% packed the entire time I was there. It was uncomfortable stepping over people and feeling like everyone was on top of one another. Same thoughts on the changing room/locker room. Too small of space and no personal space at all to change without being on top of the person next to you. Makes for an uncomfortable two experiences right here. Pros:lovely facility, comfy robes, kind staff and quality massage. Yes, it's expensive but I would never claim that Gervasi is cheap or super affordable.

When I got to the spa for my appointment, to my surprise I had a man for my facial which I specifically did not want. You also changed my other technicians! As a previous managing aesthetician and spa receptionist I am very disappointed in my experience here. He is very strong, and will accommodate YOUR needs. I like a very deep tissue massage for injuries I sustained in an automobile accident, but also like to relax and enjoy. He can do BOTH, and can wonderfully incorporate the two if that is what you need. Roger offers nighttime and weekend massages, and his prices are great. I wouldn't so much call it a spa (though, they do have spa-like services). I'm a LOT spoiled by the Pro Club in Bellevue, WA that was a true day spa (fluffy robes, wooden lockers in the locker room, Mimosas while waiting, et cetera). However, it was a clean place with decent prices, so I can't really complain about the naming. The gal who took care of me was a sweetheart (she did her best with the awkward 'first time client' banter, I really appreciated it). My nails are gorgeous, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how long this "miracle" nail polish lasts. Shellac (for those who don't know what this is) is a UV-cured gel that goes on like a polish but hardens like gel nails. Except there's no filing of your natural nail and when it comes off, you still have nice looking natural nails. Without a tip, my manicure cost $25. Which given that I called around to several places, they had the best price I found in the area (others ranged from $40-70). Granted, this manicure should last two weeks, so I don't mind paying more, but I was thrilled with their price and the convenient location (right smack between my home and work). I didn't look at the rest of their prices for services, so I'm not sure how they compare otherwise. The gal who did my nails said her women's haircuts were $35, but it seems like it varies from stylist to stylist. I'm only deducting a star for the strong chemical smell when you walk in. I will definitely be going back, but the chemical smell was rather off-putting. I'm used to salons smelling like salons, but this was stronger than normal.
