Integrity and fair dealing is a rare gift among businesses, and when you experience it, it deserves an over-the-top review. The situation: I made an appointment for my fiancee's truck to be serviced. She only has one vehicle and many commitments, so it needed to be a one day job. I had admittedly unreasonable expectations regarding how much time it would take, and Ken's had trouble getting a part on time, so it didn't get done on my timeline. I talked to Ken and let him know my dissatisfaction. I miscommunicated; we talked past each other and I left thinking that I would not be back. Ken went back and investigated the details of the situation. He called me later that night and went far above and beyond to make the situation right. It goes without saying that his crew's work on the truck was professional and his prices are fair, but the point of this review is that Ken brings something to his business that goes beyond that. Saturday morning 815 am, I received a call informing me they do not service Mercedes. This was not a problem. I figured the tow truck operator was only trying to help and did not know they could not fix my car. The guys I the shop offered a couple of places that could do the work on Monday. All in all I appreciated that they were honest about not doing the work. The tow truck operator had good customer service and made me feel at ease while on the side of the highway broke down with two kids. The next day, I towed to another repair shop and the office staff was wonderful, an older gentleman and the younger gentleman dispatcher. My second tow driver was as nice and competent as the first. I would recommend the shop based on the character of the folks I dealt with in my limited experience.
