This place is first come first served. They are clean, professional, fast and friendly! Prices are competitive! You can't go wrong! It is a little hard to find. You have to enter through Exxon to get to the shop in the back. There is a small sign on the sidewalk and the back. Owner says he will put up a larger one. read more

The guy helping me got my address wrong so when I called him back later to fix it, he immediately got defensive and in an annoyed tone, he told me that the address doesn't matter on my invoice. The only thing that matters is the Vin number and the plate number and that if I would've checked with the dmv they would tell me the same. I told him I wasn't aware and that I don't work in his field so I'm sure that he could understand where I'm coming from. Then he responded that I should try to understand where he's coming from. I could sense the tension and combativeness at this point and told him that I don't understand why he keeps going back and forth with me and being condescending towards me over a simple confusion and speaking to me in such a rude and unprofessional manner. To which he responded that he doesn't need to be nice to anyone and that it is not in his job description. Sorry to say, but NIC IS GONE - he has sold the business to a new owner. You can still get a smog here, but unfortunately, not if you need a STAR-certified station (the new owner cannot get STAR-certified for at least 6 months). I found this out the hard way by driving all the way there. I called before going, to see if they were open, but I was not asked if I needed STAR... which I did, so I couldn't get the smog when I got there. So, with Nic this was a 5-star place; no judgement about the new owner's smogging skills, or the smog service, because I couldn't get the check done - but the new owner could be more forthcoming about the STAR certification if someone calls. :-( read more

His first priority isn't making a buck, it's customer service! He is honest, helpful, open, and just pretty amazing all around. UPDATE: I am subtracting 2 stars because the day of the smog we agreed over the phone that the total, including the certificate, would be $60 but next day I checked my receipt I noticed he charged me $68. I had a better deal with Air Care Smog Test Center whom offered smog test and certificate all for $60 (but I didn't read the email on time). So Nickola was not the most affordable of all. other than that the rest of my original review stands. Awesome in many levels. First, the price, Nickola the technician or owner, gave me a better price compared to Redwood Car Care. Second, he was efficient, I didn't spent much time waiting and third, he noticed that I was late to renew my car's registration, he asked me if I had AAA, I said yes and he recommend me to go to their office; he even gave me directions. I did go to the AAA office, and completed my registration in less than 10 minutes. Thank you Nickola, you saved me hours of painfully waiting time at the DMV. read more

I went there for a basic smog test. He was professional and courteous. He gave me some tips on cleaning up the pine sap on the car and instructions on what happens to the smog results when I sell the car. Overall it was a good experience. Worse customer service, I called to check how much it was for a smog check and the guy that answered said it was 50 dollars I even asked if it included the certificate he said yes, I said thanks, then I was saw an offer on there yelp page, I called back and I asked about the 20 dollar he said to read correctly and he hang up on me, I called him back and I asked him if that was the way he treated his customers... His reply was you hang up on me the first time, I said I never hang up on you the first time I even said Thank you! So he said I was just paying you back, so childish for a grown up guy read more
