Found this company on yelp about a week ago to help my elderly grandparents with a leaky sink in their new house, they charged them $209 to replace the pop up assembly but the sink continued to leak until we ended up having to have a family friend come tighten everything up and they also charged them $139 to tighten a toilet seat which is insane especially when I had to tighten myself and when my grandfather tries to all the number provided on the invoice nobody answers I definitely would not recommend this company let alone trust them with your elderly grandparents read more

A Plus Rooter gets an A++. Chris, the plumber/service person who looked after us was a real gentleman and a true gem to the company. He came out on a Sunday to fix my plumbing issue (which is something they don't usually do because they are off that day). The estimate they gave me was way below what other plumbers where asking. Chris made sure to test his work before he left to make sure all was A-OK. The work involved breaking some wall, soldering copper pipes and reinstalling a water heater. Chris was nice enough to help me with some minor drywall work (not part of their service scope as far as I know). April 18,2023 my toilets were clogged. It was a Sunday and called A plus as the have 24 hour service. Mike came 2 hours later, confirmed an $800 charge for clearing drain from roof and putting down a camera for pictures. After working on the roof for 2 hours he came back in the house and said he had removed the clog Asked about pictures. He said he saw a leaking pipe under the house. His estimate was $10,000 to repair. I asked for the pictures and report to send for possible help from insurance company. To date, I have texted him twice requesting findings in writing. It's July and I am yet to receive anything from him. I am still having the problem and he refuses to even reply to my requests. I will be contacting another plumber to try and solve my problem. Be very careful, as it ended up costing me $800 to unclog toilets and the problem still exists. read more

Had a very unpleasant experience with this company. When I contacted them I was given a price of $ 97.50. I did not say he had to come in the evening, the next morning would have been fine. When he got here, he tried to charge me a $146 after hours fee and a diagnostic fee, totaling $ 311. When he looked behind my drywall, he saw that the pipes had simply come loose and separated causing the leak. So all he did was enlarge the hole in the drywall and re connect the pipe. Then he said it needed a strap but that he would have to come back for an additional $165 the next day or otherwise he would not guarantee his "work". Paid him $ 97.50 and told him goodbye. Would never use their company again. read more

On Tuesday night at 10:20pm our toilet decided to completely clog and leak sewage into the pipes of two showers and ultimately come out the drain of the showers. We called at 10:30PM and they showed up around 12:20. That was no issue. Our plumber was very knowledgeable and knew how to fix the issue. The reason for the 4 stars in stead of 5 was because we were charged $450 to unclog the main drain from the outside, which is fine, however one shower was not draining after that and we were charged an additional $300 to snake that drain literally took a total of 3 minutes (when the main pipe was $450!). Other than the additional high cost for the shower, this company was knowledgeable and prompt. I would use them again in an event of an emergency. Hopefully none will arise :) read more

Value - 0 (Problem never fixed after repeated attempts) Quality -0 Quote - Will pay more than what you are quoted for The claim is that there is no repeated charges for the same issue. If the problem is not resolved, they will charge for the additional visit even if the problem is still not fixed. The issue told to the company was that when toilet is flushed it backs up into the tub and that there is a clog. These are amateur plumbers who don't have the qualifications to properly diagnose an issue. It didn't take a week before the problem returned and escalated where when the faucet was turned on for the sink, it backed up into the tub. Company sends out plumber and the problem was never resolved. Supposedly passes a snake and yet the clog remained. They think that passing a snake solves every plumbing issue. Dishonest businesses who run scams when caught should be put out of business. I prefer to support small businesses but companies like this give small businesses a bad reputation. My neighbor tried to fix my dribbling tub faucet, but couldn't get the cartridge out to replace it, so I looked on YELP for a good plumber. I messaged one of them, but YELP sends the request to others, too. The first one to respond was A Plus Rooter Sewer and Drain Services, Inc. After checking their reviews, I made a 2 pm appointment for today. This morning, he called and said he was running early, and could he come in one hour. I agreed that he could. So, he showed up in a half hour, almost three hours earlier than our original appointment. I had just gotten out of the shower, so I had to make him wait about five minutes. He was very patient, and when I let him in, he went right to work. I went and brushed out my wet hair and did a couple other things, and then I asked if he was making any progress (remembering how my neighbor had struggled for a hour to try to get the cartridge out). He answered, "It's finished!" I was amazed! He had the required part with him, and had replaced it in under 20 minutes! He showed me that it is easier to turn on and off, and answered all my questions. I got my credit card out, and he said I could pay online, if I'd like to. So, he sent me an invoice from his cell phone, and I paid it on the spot. I received an email receipt in a couple of minutes. Very easy, fast, and convenient. I have another much bigger job, requiring the shower pan, tiles and some drywall, in my other bathroom, be replaced. I have been fretting how to coordinate the whole project. So, I asked him, and he said he could get everyone scheduled for me, if I like, and he will call me when everything is in place! What a load off of my back. I'm always skeptical when there are only 5 star reviews for a company but I can see why with A Plus. Mike was super responsive when I put the quote request in at night and I was able to get a technician the next morning. I was even able to change the scope of work over Yelp messages. Mario was super fast, friendly, and thorough. He even found me a coupon code to offset some of the costs (I needed four new water cutoffs and a Moen kitchen faucet installed).
