I called Chris for a consult and he explained to me step by step what would be the process and what was possibly wrong. He was booked all week and still made time on a Friday at 4pm to swing by and give us a hand. He was on time, efficient and left our dryer working at optimum speed. He even checked our attic after the other company had gone in there to "fix it". All I have to say don't trust all companies with amazing reviews. He charged us way less than the other company, we definitely got scammed. But to say the least for any dryer vent cleaning we will continue to trust and recommend Chris .

Bart quoted a coil replacement for $2400 labor. The other option was to add refrigerant and leak seal. Bart was very clear verbally and written NO GUARANTEES. He added refrigerant and charged for leak seal $1000. Turns out, he never added leak seal and the unit was not working again after 1 week. I called someone else who fixed the leak for another $1200. Bart wasn't honest except for the No Guarantees part. He doesn't know what he is doing. He was at my place for hours and all equipment was easily accessible. I only hired him because he was close and Yelp recommended.

Basically, they can do only cookie cutter - if everything goes great. If there are problems they fix them slipshod. Asking them to fix that was raising frustration from their side! They ask everything to pay upfront. Never do that! After the job, their installation handler Josh just started ignoring me!! Why? Well, because you paid them and you are not interested anymore. Only their technician Mike is good.

For context, I rate products and businesses on a simple scale: 5 stars means I love it, 4 stars…read moremeans I like it, 3 stars is okay, 2 stars means I didn't like it, and 1 star means I hated it or think it's unsafe. Kevin Lanouette of Thresher Cooling in West Palm Beach is the real deal. A few years ago he serviced my old AC system, which was on its last legs. I told him I planned to replace it soon, but he honestly said it could probably wait. That advice helped me stretch the system another two years. When it came time to replace it, I got three other quotes, but I chose Kevin. Not because he was cheapest, but because I knew he does quality work, shows up on time, and treats customers fairly. During installation, he found no C wire for the thermostat. Because I requested it, he added it at no extra cost, keeping his original quote the same. The installation was clean, organized, and much easier to access than my old system. Later, I needed the air handler disconnected and reinstalled on short notice for a flooring project. Kevin rearranged his schedule to make it happen. When a roofing company damaged the condenser, he honestly advised it was cosmetic, but replaced it at my request. Kevin isn't out to make a quick buck. He genuinely looks out for his customers while still running a solid business. He's reliable, honest, and skilled. I will continue to use him for all my AC needs. Easy 5 stars. More if I could.
