Basically, they can do only cookie cutter - if everything goes great. If there are problems they fix them slipshod. Asking them to fix that was raising frustration from their side! They ask everything to pay upfront. Never do that! After the job, their installation handler Josh just started ignoring me!! Why? Well, because you paid them and you are not interested anymore. Only their technician Mike is good.

Bart quoted a coil replacement for $2400 labor. The other option was to add refrigerant and leak seal. Bart was very clear verbally and written NO GUARANTEES. He added refrigerant and charged for leak seal $1000. Turns out, he never added leak seal and the unit was not working again after 1 week. I called someone else who fixed the leak for another $1200. Bart wasn't honest except for the No Guarantees part. He doesn't know what he is doing. He was at my place for hours and all equipment was easily accessible. I only hired him because he was close and Yelp recommended.

Four years later, not so magnificent. I am extremely disappointed with my net experience with…read moreFlorida Air Temp in Wellington. A few years ago, I purchased and paid full price for a brand-new AC system. The owners were initially kind and responsive, returning repeatedly to address problems that occurred every few weeks for more than two years. However, I never understood why the system was not replaced given the ongoing issues. Recently, I noticed a growing ceiling stain and initially assumed it was a roof leak. After inspections by a roofing contractor, another AC contractor, and my handyman, all three indicated that the problem appeared related to an installation error. I was told the system was not properly connected to the venting and was sending conditioned air into the attic. They also observed excessive condensation and significant saturation of the board beneath the system. This explains the system's long history of problems and potentially higher electric bills. It was especially frustrating because I had previously been told the issues might be caused by me leaving doors open, which I do not routinely do. I was also informed that the Blue UV Light I specifically ordered and paid for was never installed, raising serious concerns about what I was charged for versus what I received. I gave Florida Air Temp a week to respond to these concerns, but received no response or callback. Nothing. I initially gave Florida Air Temp a glowing review because I believed the owners were honorable and committed to resolving my problems. Unfortunately, after four years and the discovery of what appears to be an improper installation and a missing paid-for component, my opinion has changed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
