We won an hour of cleaning through a school fundraiser. Asked them to clean the bathrooms and kitchen. In an hour, two cleaners did a passable job on the kitchen counters and sink. But left the floor a mess. Wasn't expecting mopping, but didn't even vacuum up the debris they swept off the counters. Nothing was put back even close to the way it was at the start. Used heavy duty cleaner inside of a small countertop electric oven which blew a fuse. It ended up working fine once I let it dry out, but never said anything about that - would have been obvious since half the lights in the kitchen went out. Bathrooms they did the sinks and toilets, but didn't touch the floors, leaving them worse than they were at the start. Left toilet brush on the floor. In the master bath, broke a glass bottle with some nice face soap of my wife's. Never said anything. I didn't see it in the bathroom, so I went and looked in the trash and found it in there. It's a very nice soap that's about $40 for a good size bottle (that was still mostly full). But it's really less the cost and more that they never said, "hey sorry we broke this." Note that there's another review that mentions breaking an oven and not saying anything about it. Found bits of broken glass on the carpet in the bedroom too. We initially asked about doing a more thorough cleaning, but I'm glad I stuck to the one hour. The work they did was very disappointing, and I am only glad I didn't ask for any more. I only give four stars instead of five due to not really having anything to compare them against and only having a two bedroom apartment and not a house, but they are great. Feel like a single five star review might look fake? They charge a reasonable price. They are in weekly and all is clean and spiffy when I come home. As a Bachelor I have them concentrate on the kitchen and the Bathrooms which are cleaned well. They have been more than willing to work around my schedule, and will do some extra work when asked. I hired Nicole and team for a move out cleaning in Oxnard with the goal to get my entire deposit back. Nicole convinced me she had plenty of experience dealing with landlords and guaranteed their work. As it turned out, my landlord was probably 90% satisfied. Though I too noticed the flaws in their work (streaks on hard wood floor and counter tops, sink with minimal grime left in it), I couldn't have expected perfection because the electricity had gone out the day they did their work and they didn't have enough light at the end of the day to complete the finishing touches. So, Nicole sent a crew member back to address those few minor things that still needed to be touched up. Though I haven't received my deposit back, my landlord has expressed his approval with their work and that he intends to return my full deposit. Nicole was very flexible in timing, worked hard to win the job, and even came to my office to pick up the key to the house and the check after the job was done. I didn't give 5 stars because Nicole twice promised to call me back and twice failed to do so within the specified time, both before the job had been scheduled. If it were not for the fact that she offered the guarantee on her work if my landlord wasn't satisfied, I would have hired someone else because of this. It was very frustrating to have to follow up with her and then to find that her voice mailbox was full. Clearly she's very busy, which is great for her, but she needs to keep her commitments. Also, she failed to inform me both before and during the job that for liability reasons she couldn't move my fridge across the hardwood floor and clean under/behind, even though I specifically listed this task in my instructions. If I could leave a zero I would. I felt cheated and the work was not worth the 600 plus I paid! I left tests behind and they were all failed. Not even the promised vaccumming was done properly! I left some items in the carpet and they were not even vaccuumed! Some windows were discussed and NOT cleaned/missed/smeared. One shower was completely missed! None of the hard water marks were elminated....which I specifically discussed with here and she promised to take care of it (I mentioned leading brand and she said she had something better). Nothing sparkled. Even the glass top Gaggenau cooktop was not cleaned. I had to clean it myself - it take a razor blade and special cooktop cleaner (which was under the sink) but she, as the pro, should have known how to handle this. Kitchen cabinets were not cleaned. This was an empty house and a straightforward clean. I asked her to make it sparkle as we are preparing an open house. I am most disappointed and feel it was a bait and switch. Just had our first service with them! We live in a 5 bedroom house with 5 girls and 3 dogs. Definitely not the easiest thing to walk into! The girls were 20 minutes early for the 9:30 appointment and brought everything with them. They were very very detailed with the work and very nice, one even offered to fill the dogs water bowl! My experience with A Plus Cleaning has not been a pleasant one unfortunately. I was not satisfied with the service they provided the house keepers were not professional they do not wear a logo with their company name to distinguish who they are I also did not like that there is no consistency of who will be cleaning my house there is always someone different and I would think that the owner would have better communication of too what is going on when the house keepers are running late, but I have never had a call or even a simple apology.The services that are offered can not even be provided (EX: window cleaning) As for an overall rating on the cleaning services that have been provided I would rate them a low 4 out of 10.I would not recommend this company at this time I believe there needs to be better leadership must remember you are going into someones home and there needs to be a trusting relationship. read more

I am completely disappointed in this company. I met with Nichole and she was very nice, the price was fair and she was licensed and bonded. I was told in the initial meeting that Nichole would be with the girls for the first few times to make sure they understood my needs and to make sure my needs were met. I came home early to drop some stuff off and Nichole was not with the ladies and they said she had an appointment. I returned a few hours later and found my front door unlocked, my dog's large dog bed sitting on my new couch. A very special ceramic piece on the back of a chair, windows not cleaned nor mirrors. I called Nichole and did not hear back from her. I called one last time and I was going to ask for my key back and cancel service but Nichole said she would come by the next day so that I could show her what was not cleaned. Nichole to a look around and found that things were not what she expected from her employees and asked for me to give them another chance. Nichole mentioned her phone was really acting out and that is why she couldn't call me. She said the next two cleanings would be free. I said OK. The next cleaning was better and Nichole did show up yet there was only two not three Nichole and another lady). I come back in the house from walking my dog and Nichole mentions that the ceramic trivet that was on the counter is cracked and they didn't do it. I know the other lady broke it. I think she leaned on it and it cracked. Anyway...... the third cleaning Day I get a phone call from Nichole at 3:10pm and the cleaners are suppose to be at my home at 3:30pm. Nichole tells me that she had a flat tire and couldn't make it. Yes, she said she would come with the ladies but she wasn't driving them. Why the other ladies could not come clean is beyond me! Nichole said they would be there on Friday to clean and they did come. I booked a pick up service from Nichole's company to take some things to the Rescue Mission and she said that they would be at my house last Monday after I got home from work or they would come Tuesday night but she would call me back and let me know one way or the other. No one showed up Monday night and no one called to tell me they weren't coming. I waited 2 hours. Tuesday I called Nichole to find out what happened and had to leave a message. I called her back and she answered. Mind you I had already been waiting for 1 hour. Nichole said the truck was full and they couldn't come by. She said her phone was acting up and kept asking, "You didn't get my message? You didn't get me text? I said no and I have no missed calls. Nichole then said She was on her way to the phone store right then. My question is - if your a business owner and you know your phone is acting up wouldn't you get that fixed ASAP? I told her that this phone stuff does not look good for her company. I confirmed the Thursday, July 3rd, service as I had guests coming in for the long weekend and she confirmed it back to with me. On July 3rd I get home early from work and no one had been there. They were to be there at 3:30pm. At 3:50 Nichole called me to tell me they were stuck in traffic and would arrive in 20 minutes. I told her I had guests arriving and I needed the condo cleaned by 5:30. Nichole said no problem as there would be three of them. At 5pm I call Nichole to say forget it. I have guests showing up and I haven't even showered. I then see the other ladies drive up and told them to forget it but to have Nichole come see me. I call my guests and tell them to meet me at the restaurant instead of coming to my condo. About 5 minutes later Nichole knocks on my door and hands me my house key and starts in that she should have taken this job, she can't stick to a block of time (I picked Thursday, Nichole picked the time of 3:30pm) blah, blah, blah. I said you're done. I told her I had to meet my guests at the restaurant because of this mess. Nichole then said that the ladies could come in and clean while I was at dinner. I agreed yet still kept my key as the ladies could lock the bottom lock without a key. I paid her $60 and when I arrived home after dinner with my guest the house was not cleaned well at all. The bathroom shower was not cleaned not was the kitchen counters. The only thing they did was vacuum. The floors were not even mopped. I took pictures of everything and texted Nichole that the house wasn't cleaned. I never heard back from her. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. It's hard to recommend a company where those that own, or work for, the company are not truthful and do not know how to clean. Oh, and yes, Nichole cashed my check even after I told her the job was not done. That action speaks volumes. read more
