I had a great experience working with Jon from Safe Auto Glass when replacing my windshield. From…read morethe start, communication was clear, prompt, and professional, which made the whole process stress-free. What really stood out was how smoothly everything went between his company and my insurance (Progressive)--such a huge relief. Jon was also incredibly understanding and flexible, especially with the possibility of rain and my limited garage space. He was willing to work with me to make sure everything still got done without any issues. Just to be clear, I worked directly with Jon at 877-215-7735 (BEWARE, DO NOT confuse this with another company with the same name!!!!). Thanks again, Jon, for being so kind and helping me out of a tough situation!

I made sure to be home at the time being that I was coming from work and I sat in my car for 2 hours waiting for them and they never showed. 12:30 they still didn't come they are calling me trying to confirm my address when that information was communicated the day prior. After so much delay making me late to other obligations I asked them to cancel as they had no regards to my time and no accountability. Things happen, delays happen but you have to communicate. They offered me a $25 discount which I thought was a slap in the face. I was about to spend $600. I told them to forget it, I was going to do business with them because I was referred to them but the experience was so bitter that I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. A lady calls me back asking me if I'm sure I want to cancel I said yes because they don't respect me nor my time. I informed her I will fix my window elsewhere. She refused to take accountability then tells me "f you b*tch". I hung up. I never rose my voice at her, I never cursed at her. It's pretty bold for them to call me to curse me out when they messed my whole day up due to their lack of professionalism.

The damage was minuscule, with a few teeny cracks, but enough where repairs were necessary. In comes Safelite AutoGlass. After confirming with our insurance that we were fully covered, they advised we had the option to go directly to Safelite's office or have a mobile unit come directly to us. I took the earliest availability which brought me to their facility. The process was an easy one. I entered at 8:50a.m. receiving pleasant greetings from the staff for my 9:00a.m. appointment. There's a decent sized, visibly clean waiting area but I chose to walk around outside as the weather was beautiful. The wait was short as I was back in my car by 9:30a.m. with a fully repaired windshield with no signs of damage. The service tech who assisted me, Alan, was a pro. He explained that there's a 15% chance of the crack not adhering to the repair, but based on Alan's exceptional work it's clear we fall in the 85th percentile. Safelite AutoGlass and their staff clearly lived up to their jingle.

Once they go it fixed it was half done and had to go into the shop to finish the job the next day. They did not offer me a discount or anything after being delayed. UPDATE Since this…read moreowner decided to leave a very disrespectful answer TWO YEARS LATER on google, I want to make sure I address it. 1) The vehicle was only a few years old at that point and the only issues with it were what I came in for. 2) I personally called Safelite and confirmed the amount with them. They gave me the option for a BMW certified windshield or a generic one. This business price was almost double what I was quoted by Safelite for the BMW certified. And I might still have the email if the owner would really like to deny this. I understand they are a business and wish to be profitable but there's a limit to how much you gouge someone who's in a terrible situation. 3) Air and water and light were getting in. This was confirmed by the owner himself because he initially tried to deny it over the phone until he saw it. Who told me that the person that had done the job can sometimes mess up and he would absolutely fix it right away. He opened up the side door panel in front of me and adjusted it so the window sat fully in the housing. How and why would he have done this if there was no issue? 4) The owner admitted he had seen the rear view mirror loose/dangling when he did the test drive but decided he didn't want to fix or notify me of the issue. I found out later from the next shop that this was because he had used a much cheaper generic windshield and the BMW mirrors will not work with generic. The owner should be accepting responsibility instead of TWO YEARS LATER gaslighting. Also that vehicle sold for 12k in 2021, so I guess not that bad of a car huh. Use at your own peril. I like how the owners response does not address anything I've said in this update. Please do better as a business. Also not the only negitive review. Another review talks about how they broke something and then denied it and refused to fix it.
