My wife and I are re-doing a spare bedroom/office space and are adding a full-size daybed to the space. I contacted the A Plus team to get a quote and they responded within a few minutes! We messaged via Yelp over the course of 20-30 minutes and each response was clear and very informative. They were accommodating to our schedule as well. When they arrived, we did a short walk through and then they got to work. We had just repainted the room and they were very considerate of the walls and being careful. After about 20 minutes, I remembered that we had two tables that needed to be assembled and I asked if they could do it afterwards. They were very quick to say "yes." After another 20 minutes had passed, I realized we also had a new office chair that needed to be put together. I asked again, and again, they said "no problem." My apologies to A Plus for the delay!** Ever since COVID struck I decided (like many of you) to use my time at home to do some improvements and support small, local businesses in the process. In the past few months I've contacted plumbers, painters, electricians, landscapers, concrete, pool installers, you name it... and the overall experience has been really disappointing. Contractors not calling back because they have "too much work" or charging double the normal rate because they can. For a while I almost gave up on trying to support small businesses through Yelp. But then came A Plus Assemblers who has completely restored my faith again. I bought an aluminum gazebo from Costco and decided to just hire someone to assemble it the day it arrived so the crate wasn't sitting on my driveway all week. Of the 5 people I reached out to Wedner at A Plus was the most responsive, professional, and easiest to communicate with. I knew immediately that I wanted to hire A Plus from the initial conversation and was glad I did. We had to reschedule a couple times because Costco's shipping dates kept changing but Wedner always responded right away and made accommodations with zero issue. On the day of install they showed up on-time (with face masks on), asked what I wanted done and where, and said they'd take care of the rest. Mid-way through the assembly I was so impressed by how organized and professional they were that I offered additional paid work on the spot for another smaller job. Not only did they agree to do the additional work, but they did it the same day and INCLUDED it free of charge. This type of service, in this economy, is unheard of.
