If the fish isn't sold the day before, they will sell it for a cheaper price the next morning. There are also a few shops with fresh flowers, cheese, bread, nuts, and cooked meats. Not a ton when it comes to prepared food for you to sit and consume but their selection of fruits and veggies are absolutely gorgeous! It was a mild, Spring day, but we did find ourselves warm as we biked the 6.5 miles our the perimeter. On the northern edge of the peninsula, about 2.5 hours into our stop and go bike journey, we came across Profresco and the fish market there and had to stop for our break. We were so glad we did too as the food was fresh, the water was cold, and it was a beautiful lunch experience. We ordered an octopus burger and a seafood burger - both came with finely cut, fresh fries and the seafood burger also came with a garden salad. We ordered olives for an appetizers with two bottles of still water to down before heading out. Loved it.
