I also remember it to be relatively cheap, like $3 or so if I remember correctly. Pricing will vary depending on your type of key. Better value than Canadian Tire, which charges about $6~ flat per key. It doesn't matter if it's a mailbox or door key. I also remember the man working the counter was really nice. I've gotten a few more keys done over the year, and sometimes, I had to resort to Canadian Tire or Walmart even if I don't quite want to. Why? The only issue is they open only on weekdays and close quite early on weekdays, so I don't make it there on time.

I had initially only sent a photo to Fast Fob as well and while they weren't 100% sure they would be able to either, they were willing to give it a try. However, I had held off on it for a bit thinking it would be impossible and not wanting to waste my time with another copy attempt. A couple of weeks later, Fast Fobs reached out to me to let me know they had successfully copied a similar fob and were fairly confident that mine was doable as well. In fact, they were the only place to follow up with me at all. Really grateful they did because it ended up working! There were a few hiccups along the way (no fault of theirs) but they were more than willing to accommodate and ensure that my fobs worked 100%. Definitely recommend and will be my first choice for any copying in the future! The only thing that would have made it better would be if they made house calls.

I asked for a quote to replace my current door lock with a smart lock. We agreed on the price so…read morethe technician came to install the lock. He left after installation saying that he is not responsible for setting up. So I was doing it myself. But I had trouble calibrating the lock because the hole in the frame was not big enough so the dead bolt keeps getting stuck in it every time I tried to calibrate the lock. The technician should have known that before he left and if not than he is not qualified to do his job. So he left knowing that I am going to have trouble when I try to calibrate the lock after he left. So I called him He came again next day but asked for more money to fix it. He said that he need to do some fabrication on the frame and it will cost me another 50$. At first I disagreed so he left without doing anything. Now I am stuck with a door without a fully functional door lock. I will have to ask someone else to come and finish the job and of course pay him again. I finally agreed to pay the additional amount to get the job done since I was kind of in a hostage situation with a non functional door lock on my front door. They agreed to send a technician but nobody showed up. So I end up with a unfinished job in spite of paying the agreed amount and also willing to pay more five days after the job was started. Finally I called another locksmith and he did the job for $25. It took him less than 10 mins to finish the job. I hope this review will help someone from not getting in a situation that I am today
