We could no longer use our key to open our front door deadbolt. I located Locksmith Care by Yelp Top Ten. Within 10 minutes of my email query, I was in regular email contact with Dimitar from Locksmith Care. He answered all my questions and several emails promptly, gave a great quote (including new deadbolt) quickly, and could fit me in within 48 hours! He arrived within the 8-8:30 a.m. predicted window this morning. Within half an hour he had removed our 25-year old deadbolt, drilled a new hole for the new bolt, gave me a choice of several reasonably priced Schlages, installed the new deadbolt, cut three extra keys for me, calculated our invoice and was equipped for me to pay the extremely reasonable bill by debit. I had been worried, but Dimitar made it painless. We can now recommend "our" locksmith to anyone who asks. Bravo Locksmith Care! read more

My online request was responded to promptly and it was easy to schedule a time. The locksmith even arrived a few minutes early. Very professional and knowledgeable. He warned me one of the locks I wanted rekeyed wouldn't be secure and should be replaced instead. The entire process to rekey 3 locks, change 1 lock and make 4 copies was under 40 minutes. He even noticed that my screen door latch had been installed backwards and wasn't closing properly. I didn't even have to ask, he just fixed it for me (this wasn't even a door he was going rekey)! Very impressed with the service. read more

My husband and I wanted an extra lock installed after a recent apartment unit in our building was broken in. We called Locksmith Care for an appointment, Dimitar was punctual and professional. The job was completed within an hour. The price was very reasonable. We especially appreciate the honest and candid advice from Dimitar, indicating to us that spending substantially more on purchasing a lock does not translate to more security. We will most definitely recommend him to our friends and neighbours. From Toronto. Canada. read more

I saw the great reviews and gave Dimitri a call. It was a simple job and he gave me the cost over the phone and said he would be here in a half hour. He arrived when he said he would and took out the old cylinder and said he would be 15 minutes retooling it and making the new keys. He was 15 minutes. It took him a few minutes to install the new lock and ensured it was working. Great service! (I am not in San Francisco, btw Yelp.) read more

We needed to open an unused door that had been locked for many years. When we called Locksmith Care, they showed up on-time and they were fast friendly and very professional. They provided us service 3 times within the month for 3 different purposes and the service level was equally fast, friendly and affordable. I would never have any hesitation calling them every time we have the need. Dan The Kitchen Canada Inc. read more
