Fantastic Experience I had to get fingerprinted for my new job and I was looking for a Live Scan place open on a Saturday. Notary 2U was open and accepted walk-ins which was essential because I could not figure out how to book an appointment. I was nervous about walking in with a prepaid token (I filled in paperwork online and prepaid, was given this electronic token to take with me to any Live Scan place certified with the website), but they accepted it without question. I walked in, and Claudio quickly let me in and offered me a seat while I waited. Although I was a walk-in, I was attended to within ten minutes and I had completed my Live Scan within 20 minutes of walking in the door. Claudio did the Live Scan, and not only was he timely, he was always courteous and respectful and had a sense of humor. Great service! I booked an appoinment through Yelp and was contacted right away on what times were avaliable for a Monday afternoon. I arrived about 15 mins early and didn't have to wait - She was ready for me. She offers great service and I've never had an issue with any of the documents she's notarized. It was $15 for my paperwork. This place is in a small area off of PCH across from the Ford dealership. There's normally enough parking even though the Pan and Cool Beans is in the same area. Response time was definitely quick. However, my time was wasted and given misinformation. I took my mom in for power of attorney (poa) forms. The notary, Gaby, asked her a lot of questions which was standard. My mom was lucid, happy (not often because she complains a lot) and asked me to do this. I have been caring for her over 4 years now and running into hospital and banks asking for her to get me poa since I deal with everything but with her there. My mom initialed most of the documents and Gaby even used her embosser seal on my document before saying she can't do the notary. I mentioned the hospital told her to get me a poa before she gets a dementia diagnosis so i don't run into any problems in the future. Gaby stated that oh, I can't do the notary even when my mom wasn't diagnosed yet, and was fully capable and requested the poa. Gaby said just the possibility of my mom might have dementia, it is ***illegal*** to do a notary. I also said she messed up my document with her embossed seal... her response was that NO notary will do the poa anyways. I went to a paralegal notary after and that was completely untrue. My mom had 100% clarity and answered all questions and went through a new copy of the poa and it was done. Hopefully I won't need it for years but it was a pre caution. I'm leaving a review to let others know on her policy on notaries on power of attorneys so you don't waste your time... and that also what I was told was untrue. I'm not familiar with how to respond to the comment... but just pointing out that for you respond and say your notary embosser can be removed easily is a joke. You opted to use embosser which is a better/more secure than the notary stamps but it makes a raised imprint in the paper that you CANNOT easily removed or remove at all. It's amazing how you can lie about something that can be easily proven untrue... again. And to address your other comment, I only explained the process to mom in the beginning. You didn't have a problem and almost did the notary process until you heard possible dementia. My mom showed no signs of it and possibly have it due to her age... but for you to mess up my signature page and said the notary embossed seal can easily removed.. wow. But maybe when you used your nails to X it out, the raised seal might magically disappear. Idk. read more

I cannot give enough stars to Gaby and A Notary 2 U. My daughter needed to be fingerprinted for her part time job and we first went to a local UPS to get it done. She has hyperhidrosis (excessively sweaty hands) and we couldn't have not imagined it would be this hard to get livescan prints. The guy at UPS was kind, but her prints would not take at ALL. Desperate, we called around to see if hard copy might be better. We called A Notary 2 U and Gaby explained she had many years of experience, gave us tips on hydration, and scheduled our appointment. Hard copy was not an option for in-state, but she said she would do the livescan. She could NOT have been more patient and properly equipped for the task. She had a fan, towels, and spent nearly an hour and half (a couple of customers came in, but she took care of them quickly and got back to the fingerprinting) drying my daughters hands and taking prints over and over in the hopes of getting clear scans. She never made my daughter feel bad, and it was like she took it on as a personal challenge to get the prints done. One of customers who came in also needed a live scan, and his were done in 5 minutes, so I know Gaby was being EXTREMELY patient with my daughter. She also gave my daughter hope by informing her of possible next steps if the prints were rejected. Well, my daughter's employer let her know the prints were accepted, so we are SO grateful to Gaby. So I needed to get a live scan for work and I called up two places, Gabriela was a lot more attentive then the other lady so here I am. She was kind enough to schedule me into her busy day because I needed it done before 5pm. She scheduled me for 2:45 and I got in about the same time. The whole process was relatively quick but take in consideration that it's Covid19 times and you need to get fingers scanned. She takes it Very Seriously and it can get quit intense! She goes by very strict rules but I super duper appreciate them because I don't want to get Covid19 either!!!
