I did a LOT of research to find the right person to do my permanent eyebrows, and I'm so happy I did! I had my brows done back in the late '90s, so you can imagine what the faded color looked like, and Dawn was very meticulous about repairing, shaping and coloring. My brows are the best they've ever looked - EVER! She is not only a truly great artist, but she's fun and sweet (which helps when you're undergoing a process which can be painful after a certain period of time!) Thanks to Dawn, I finally have permanent liner on my lower lash line. I had been to 3 others for this eyeliner, only to end up with a faint dash of color. The first time I had this done, the color simply didn't show up. The other 2 times, I couldn't tolerate the procedure, not only because of the discomfort, but because I had to keep my eyes open while being instructed to "look up" while the needle approached. Yikes! Dawn is the only person to use a method where you can close your eyes and she holds the skin taut while proceeding with the tattoo. This makes a huge difference. It's been 2 weeks since my eyeliner tattoo and it is a natural looking line with the kind of precision I could never get with pencil liner. Both my teenage daughter and I went to Dawn originally for electrolysis on our faces. My daughter and I are as biologically different as you can get and she did an outstanding job of both of us. Dawn made us feel so comfortable that we had bikini, breast and underarm areas done too. I can't tell you the how much more self confidence this created for my daughter. This is a complete 180 for me. Before I had to wear lipstick or people would stop me and ask if I were about to faint no matter how great I felt. When I met her I found her to be professional and that she truly knows her business. To reassure me, she showed me pre and post photos of other brows she had done. DAWN is the best! I had a very good experience with her associate but we could not make our schedules match so I started going to Dawn. (I wish I had met her a long time ago!! She taught me a lot about what to do AFTER the problems associated with bad tattooing. Never let anyone try to "fix" a tattoo by putting white ink over it. You will never be able to get laser removal. Luckily Dawn & her associate Michelle knew about the salt removal method and were able to clean up the mess I had just had done. It took 6 visits, and a lot of money, but they were able to get rid of all signs of what could have been on my face forever. And be very careful WHO refers you to the permanent makeup artist. Laser Center of Marin DID NOT recommend the person I went to before Michelle & Dawn. An employee who worked there did. In fact LASER CENTER of MARIN has a policy of NOT making recommendations because there are so few great people out there doing this in Marin. DAWN is 100% legit and very very honest & talented.
