I've been coming here for 3 years and after today I'm so done with them. The past year I've been getting my acrylics done by a friend and come every month for my toes. Today, happens to be Chinese New Year so they have a few workers and i was totally fine with waiting even if it was an hour, they're the only ones i trust with my toes so i was fine with them being busy and having to wait but they kept making excuses on not giving me service. a regular pedi and mani will cost you about $16, and M-Th they have a spa mani and pedi special for $19. their color selection is limited. i wanted a pasty pink color but the closest they had was an almost-white pink. i had a man do my pedi (kindah awkward) and he used a little bit too much strength and it hurt when he removed my cuticles! in fact, he made me bleed on both toes. =( however, he spent a lot of time massaging and actually painting and buffing the nails. the results were great but it kindah hurt. the woman doing my mani kept giving me dirty looks and the man and woman kept talking to each other. the woman did ask me if i wanted square or circle. i asked for square nails and she gave me circle! i didnt notice until she was done, so always keep your eyes open. she only put one layer of polish on...and that doesn't work too well when you pick a color that is almost a whitish-nude color. overall, it was just okay but i think sky nails off amar and nogales is better in terms of attitude and service and cheaper. read more

If I could give it a fraction of a star I would. They are the laziest bunch of nail techs. No lotion. No warm water for the manicure or hot towel. Didn't even know how to paint nails. I had to ask them to get the polish off of my skin. They say they charge a fee using a card to pay but have no sign posted for this. My nails look worse than when I went in. No wonder they are cheaper. You get what you pay for. Better off going to the nail place across the street in the target shopping center. Cost a few dollars more but well worth it. Last so long. Stay away from this place. So, to the owner. Yes, I went in. They were rushing to close in 1 hr and turned people away. I had ice cold water in my bowl for my nails. Not even Luke warm. No lotion at all. They put oil on my nails and that's it. Barely got the skin off the cuticles. Not one drop of lotion. AT ALL!!! Then, the sign doesn't say a fee with a card payment. It says card only for $10 and up. My nails were not fully painted. Then there was nail polish all on my fingers and I had to ask her to clean them. I think her name was Wendy. Yeah, everything I said is true. Terrible terrible service to customers. Read the reviews. Other people also say the same thing that I have said. No lotion at all. I tried to have a nice day with my daughter but nope. Her gel polish is already bubbled and coming off. What kind of service is this? Terrible. All true. No lies told here. And no, I'm not Chris E. Horrible! I heard this place was good, came in and they were a little busy. No problem. They asked me to wait ten min to get waxed, she took me to the back room and said it would be another 10min. Really convenient place to get emergency pedicures. Their super fast, and bring your own polish, I prefer OPI or Essie and they don't have that brand. Since I maintain my pedicures I don't need a lot of detail work. When I can't make my usual place I come here during the week, I don't have high expectations because its so inexpensive. You get what you pay for. The four stars for the nice ladies and the convenience. In and out, super cheap if I want pampering I know where to go. read more

Been coming to this place practically my whole life. There usually isn't a long wait and almost everyone is friendly. They do a great job on my manicure and pedicures. Ask for Wendy, she is the best at pedicures. Jennifer does great acrylics. If you're not happy with something just ask and they are happy to fix it. I had my first experience here getting my nails done. I got a manicure & pedicure. The variety of nail polishes is not good. The woman ended up cutting me and didn't even acknowledge what she did. Then she pours alcohol on all my nails and it gets on the cut. So I make a face. She asks why are you making a face. LOL! Ummm because alcohol on cuts hurt. So of course that one finger now looks all deformed from the stuff she put on it. All is all I really didn't like it here. I probably won't be coming back. read more

This place is right by my house one day I decided to give them a try and I was so disappointed . I got a gel manicure on a Thursday by Friday the gel was pealing off. In went back Saturday morning and the lady told me I picked a wrong color for gel WTH? She fixed my nails and told me that next time it happened she would have to charge me. I told her gels are so suppose to last two weeks ...long story short she fixed them without charging but by the next day they we pealing off again! Bad service!!! read more

Will never go to A + Nails again. I made an appointment for pedicure and manicure. I requested a color in gel similar to a polish I brought in, the employee and I agreed with a color. As she was painting my nails I said that doesn't look the color I wanted, she (the employee) said she needed to apply 2 coats to make it look similar. After 2 coats it still wasn't even close the job she did was terrible the polish didn't even look good sloppy job. When she asked if I liked it, I said NO it looks terrible. After 3 coats and making sure it was passable polish wasn't on my cuticles and sides done. I never had my manicure done, because the owner said I was being difficult. They are the worst and will never ever walk in again. read more

Christina is my girl, and when she's been busy, I've gone to other girls, and they do an awesome job. One thing I've learned working with people, is that you are treated the way you treat people. If you're rude and in a sour mood, all that negative energy is going to turn around and smack you in the face. Dont have time to wait? Make an appointment. Love love love this place! I'm a faithful customer to the owner Jennifer. She does exactly what i want to my nails everytime. What i love the most is the shape of my acrylics. theyre never too thick and the shape (i get em square) is always perfect and all the nails are of equal height. Jennifer is really sweet. Absolutely unprofessional! Spa Pedicure was a BASIC pedi. No bubbles, no warm towels wrapped around my legs, and when we told them not to charge us for the Spa, the ladies got mad and started speaking in their language. First and foremost., I constantly get a pedicure every 10 to 14 days so my feet aren't nasty. So when these ladies give me a 20 min. Pedi, I'm good with that. For people who are expecting a spa treatment they'll be disappointed. I go somewhere else for that and pay more money. If I want a massage I go somewhere else for that. So my expectation is relative to what I'm paying, bottom line. I love this place for a quick pedicure and polish change. Its inexpensive and Suan is very thorough and fast. Why? Because I'm nice and polite to her, So I receive a good service. I bring my own polish so that takes care of the polish selection, which is not that great . I use Essie and OPI, they last longer and the colors are beautiful. I come here because it's next to my satellite credit union bank, and its saves me a trip to Pasadena for a (pricier) pedicure . So, in total I got a pedicure with a 5.00 sugar scrub added. All under 20 dollars. What a bargain. You get what you pay for so I gave them 4 stars for the cleanliness of the facility. No rundown spa chairs, lots of magazines and I have no wait during the week days. I can't comment on the manicure or fake nails. I've never had that service here. 4 stars for convenience, cleanliness and nice nail ladies...polish job is great. Go somewhere else if your looking for a spa pedicure. read more

I decided to go get my nails done here because a friend of mine had told me about this salon. I called in the morning to see if they had any openings for later in the afternoon and they told me they could take me at 2. Good thing I made an appointment because when I got there it started to get busy. They took me right away and started working on my nails. I got a white tip set and they look really disappointing. There are tons of air bubbles and she didn't even put a finishing gloss on them. My nails are super rough and just look really sloppy. Although my pedicure did come out very nicely. I live in this city. I like the salon because it was newly renovated. It is cleaner and owner installed new seats with spa environment. The only thing I do not feel comfortable is their communication. I can understand if the owner hires more of a different ethinicity. However, they should be trained how to speak English. I really wanted to like this place since it's close to home, however that wasn't the case. I arrived and was greeted by a not so friendly woman. I told her what I wanted and she didn't say a word. After sitting there for 15 minutes I was asked if I wanted to return at a later time since the wait would be long due to appointments they had. I asked how long the wait would be. I was instructed by what I'm assuming to be the owner to take a seat at one of the massage chairs and that I didn't not need to wait. After sitting there, I was approached by a woman who I believe is called Anna and stated if I could wait because they had appointments. I asked for how long, she said approximately 20 minutes. At this point my feet were already soaking and I explained to her that I understood that they had appointments however I did ask how long the wait would be before soaking my feet. Anna stated she understood and continued to work on my feet. As expected she rushed through my nails and gave me a half ass job.
