It definitely packed some spicy heat and became and an insta fav! And it was on sale 2 for $5, which is a great deal.

Employees have generally been friendly and helpful, and I also appreciate that they now accept Apple Pay. There are a few odd gaps in the selection. On one visit, I needed Prilosec, but they only carried the name brand with no generic equivalent, even though generic OTC medications were available in other categories. Well, WinCo falls into that category for me. It might the most poorly laid out grocery store I know. Another thing I don't like is that they only accept cash or debit cards. Annoying you can't pay with a credit card. Normally this would be a 2-3 star review, so why four stars? Well, first it's super inexpensive. They have great prices here. Look, grocery stores are poorly laid out, this Safeway is poorly laid out. The parking lot is a shared parking lot, it's not good. But the biggest reason that this location (and all other Safeways) gets a poor review is how expensive it is. There are so many other less expensive options for groceries within a 5-minute drive of this location. Other than strict convenience, why would anybody go to this grocery store? It's so expensive! Second, it's expensive. Classy Walmart doesn't come cheap. But definitely worth stopping in if you're looking for a one stop shop.

But the thing that has the most hype? Their deli counter. And it's pretty great. They have a wife variety of foods to choose from, including sushi, and it's all very reasonably priced. This has taken its place alongside Costco as one of our favorite "quick" lunches for the whole group. We stop I'm even if we aren't shopping. Love this place.
